This Costco has a ton of horrible drivers. Some of them parked at the air pump area when it clearly states do not park if you aren't pumping your tires. Some of them go very fast from the back to the other end of the parking lot. One time I saw someone go backward at the gas station with their headlight off at 8:25pm which is 5 minutes before closing. Taking the customer out of context, I do trust the staff at this location more than Duluth. I often buy gift cards here $300-400 and know trust the staff at this location to properly do this. Overall if you wanna see better drivers the cumming, Dallas, and oconee county locations have better drivers. read more

Fabulous Costco!! In general I am a big fan of the Costco. The staff at every Costco is wonderful and this one is no exception. I come here about once a week to buy gas and about every two weeks fill up my fridge. I even used promo here to change my wireless provider! Great value!!! Quick update to my previous review, which is still accurate. This location has a great selection of items and the value is hard to beat especially on their sale items. I have found the service team here to be better than most Costcos. Today I grabbed a giant slice of pepperoni pizza for $1.99 which is a great deal in the food court. Also filled a leaky tire at the air pump, which is inconveniently located in the parking area. Not a big problem but traffic is hectic at this busy location. Worth a visit. read more

Not the favorite Costco I have ever been to. This place was super packed on Saturday afternoon. My main goal was to go to the pharmacy to drop off and pick up some pet meds, however, at the time we came, they were on their lunch break. We went back to the pharmacy shortly after their opening time and they were already super backed up. I was told that our meds will be ready within 30 mins but it was more like 40-45 mins until I got a text that our prescription was ready to be picked up. Other than that, we had a pleasant experience at the check out register. 9/9/2023: Regular $3.45 Premium $3.94. Costco gas is open again. They've added a third gas pump at three of the four bays! This will help tremendously with the long gas lines. Costco gas is always the cheapest gas around for miles. There is always an attendant. As a result, it always feels safe to get gas here. read more

We had a great experience at this Costco. I came with my best friend to get food, supplies, and flowers for her wedding about three weeks ago. We found everything we needed and more. The flower selection is excellent. Leading up to the wedding was so busy and we didn't place a flower order in advance. However, that was no problem. The selection was gorgeous and varied. We got several bouquets (~15) and made our own bouquets from that. They turned out beautifully and everyone loved them. At checkout, the service was very speedy and very thoughtful. We had so many flowers and the individual helping us bag groceries helped find a specific size box that would hold the flowers well. That was a very helpful gesture. We ordered a pizza at 7:05pm, yes I understand it says times can vary, however waiting over 40 minutes without disregard for the extreme wait time or thanking us for all patiently waiting is absurd. This is the closest Costco to my house. It costs $60 for a basic annual membership. Most of the prices are great, but the quantities are very large. If you are shopping for a family, then you can save a lot of money. For example, I compared their prices on Kirkland toilet tissue and paper towels to many popular brands sold at Walmart. If you compare products on a price per sheet basis, you can save enough money buying paper products at Costco during 12 months to almost pay for your membership. You can also save a lot of money on gasoline. The Costco gas products are typically $0.10 to $0.20 cheaper than other gas stations in the area. They have an attendant on duty who can assist you. If you are in the area, and you're looking for a quick, inexpensive lunch, then you might want to try their cafeteria area. You can purchase an enormous hot dog with a soft drink for $1.50. You can also purchase a big slice of pizza for $1.99. During the holidays, they sell large (7'-8') Douglas Fir Christmas trees for $35 to $40. You pay for the tree inside and then pick up the tree outside by the large truck trailer. The employees will help lift the tree on top of your vehicle, but they won't help you tie down the tree. We have bought our Christmas trees here on the Saturday or Sunday after Thanksgiving for the past few years. read more

Great store - just as you would expect to find at any Costco. I love coming back to see what's new. The constantly changing inventory can be a really good thing as there's something new every time you go;however, it can be bad if you see something you like but plan to buy it at a later date. On multiple occasions something I had seen previously there was not there when I was ready to buy it. Regardless, the overall quality is very good. My family particularly loves the massive sheet cakes for $18.99 - way cheaper AND better than what you could get at any other grocery store. I also get steaks there and have found that they are amazing quality - some of the best I've had. My only criticism, and it's a big one, is the parking. All Costco's are busy, so it's not the volume of traffic that's super concerning. The design of the parking lot makes it nearly impossible to get anywhere. It's dangerous for pedestrians and drivers both and I don't understand why the lot would be designed with a massive Y-intersection at the point all pedestrians are expected to cross. It is the worst parking lot design I have ever seen anywhere and it honestly means I avoid going here probably 3/4 of the times I want to. I take my business elsewhere where I can actually get in and out of the parking lot quickly and easily and without potential dangers. For that reason, I have to give this location only 3-stars. When a design is SO bad that it means I avoid going, that's serious and needs to be reflected. If they could fix that, I'd go all the tine. read more

Costcos are pretty standard - but we have mostly received excellent customer service at this one. For example, when my husband and I purchased some large games for the rec room. There were four people helping us move them out and into the car. Another time, with only a small purchase, a manager helped me find a laundry tote. I think big or small - they really try to help. It would be 5 stars if the tire center was more helpful, the self check out line was orchestrated better and the parking lot wasn't such a madhouse (though I don't know how they could help that part). Happy members of Costco for 25+ years!However recent membership crackdown has a pretty bad side effect. We are 4 in our family. We have one executive membership, and 2 Costco cards. But during our recent visit we were told that we can no longer buy eye-glasses or contacts for two members in our family. That we must buy an additional membership to cover our family of 4 (you get 2 Costco cards per membership). This is quite ridiculous especially when you can get an eye exam for all four of us, with one membership, but can buy eye-glasses for only two of us. Got a email from Costco for a pop up sale on a Refrigerator on sale for $999.00 when I tried to purchase it the price was $1179.00 I called costumer service and they told me a mistake had been made after a half hour on the phone with them they told me to pay the $1179.00 then call them back and they would adjust the price at that time , NO! To say the least i will never try and order online again and I keep asking myself why I have and Sam's and Costco card? I bet next year they will only be one card in my wallet! read more

Good prices but here's a tip if you're planning to stop by their little "restaurant" for an inexpensive bite to eat, go to Sam's. The staff at the "restaurant" are not friendly like the rest of the staff in the store and trust me, they are in no rush. I waited 15-minutes, seriously, for a hot dog, while the staff wiped down the counter and wrote on pizza boxes. They weren't that busy and I wasn't the only one getting frustrated. I finally donated the $1.62 to the staff and left, getting something to eat elsewhere. My time is worth far more than that. Sadly, the pace in which the staff work behind the counter is ridiculously slow and it doesn't matter if there is a crowd or not. They definitely have the wrong people in this position. Very disappointing! I've paid my last visit to this little dining spot, my suggestion is you not waste your time unless your time has no value. read more

I asked for a Gold Membership, but the sales person at the membership counter rudely insisted that I buy the Executive Membership. We told her that we are new empty nesters and repeatedly told her that Executive is more than we need. She would not let up. After nearly six minutes of me repeating saying no and asking for Gold, my wife and I left. I did not expect such a high pressure sales job for a membership. So we went to BJ's Warehouse and were treated with respect, paid for a membership, and spent about $200 on items. Costco trumps our other local warehouse type stores (BJ's/Sam's) with product quality, selection, and store efficiency. Their food court is also a good option for a quick treat or a lunch on the go, and it's super cheap! I have utilized their travel services to go to Disney World twice, and it was the best deal I could find..by far. I have also used their auto service department for a few sets of tires, and they beat every other shop's prices. My wife and I visit this location at least once a month to stock our cupboards, and undoubtedly we save tons of cash. The short list of products that we get for a steal is coffee beans, eggs, toiletries, olive oil, butter, bagels, and vegetables. The one downside to Costco is their lack of customer services, and you get the impression that you are imposing on them when you need their help, so they could use a bit of freshening up on their customer relations skills. There's nothing like getting that weird stare when you expect them to empty your cart and ring up your purchases while they're staring at you expecting you to empty the cart..a little awkward. Always super - crowded! And hectic? Yes. However, this holds true with any Costco. This location has the standard stuff that any other location has. However, this one not only has beer / wine, there is a full liquor store attached to it as well. Perfect if you have to stock up before a party. This is definitely not the case at every Costco, as an employee @ the location in Columbia, MD looked at me as if I had lobsters crawling out if my ears when I inquired as to whether or not they sold beer... As with any other trip to any Costco location, plan on a good 2 hours minimum if you're making a medium to big-sized trip... Not only are customers there that just don't respect your space. The management doesn't either. All of the employees are all over each other. I love Costco, and this one is a good one. So nice and clean, it just seems "in order." I think that part of that is because it is relatively new, but part of it seems to be a result of the employees as well.
