I'd like to give 0 stars, but it's not available as an option. For those considering purchasing as little as a napkin from this place, fair warning: do not. I cannot begin to rate the customer service because there is none. They're great at siphoning thousands from your wallet, but that's it. They lie about what's in stock until after you've paid, they lie about delivery times, don't answer the phone for 30-40 minutes, and when you finally get someone, it's as if they have an IQ of an apple. When a place has great customer service, you can forgive a few mistakes. When they have no customer service and lie to customers, they need to feel the weight of their misdeeds. Now, I will hire an attorney, sue them, and do all I can to publicly warn people never to do business with them. Caveat Emptor. read more

Customer service at this location is the WORST! On 2 occasions I have come in here trying to return an item from online, just to be declined (with reciept in hand). Then when I call online to ask what to do- they say the store should have been able to accept it. I think they are refusing returns to not count against their total sales, absolutely insane!! read more

Not what we were looking for but a cool place. Man people really pay these prices? A very niche location that has just a specific type of material... EXPENSIVE. Still some very nice stuff as well as good help. Located in the Avalon area it is convenient to other shopping as well. Not a place to buy your everyday type of items but a good soot to find those special things you are looking for. read more

Not a great sale on Black Friday, just interesting items you can pick up for your holiday entertainment. I went straight to their clearance area and found a package of 4 metal straws and a wire cleaner for $3. Now, that's a bargain! I even got to use one of the straws at Marlow's when paper straws were handed out. Wait time at the register with 2 cashiers was too long. read more

The selection and quality of products is great! The staff is not very helpful and management is extremely rude. It is like they feel they are the only store in town where you can buy what they are selling. It is really too bad because I do like what they offer but will most likely NEVER shop at that store again because management was so rude!!! read more

I've bought their their bedding and silverware and of course their holiday items over the years. They're good quality. Their bedding stuff hold up well in the washer and they seem to always have great holiday stuff every year. This year I particularly like their Buri Animal ornaments. There is a raccoon, a squirrel, a moose, a porcupine, a fox and a bear. They look like they're made from those brushes that you clean baby bottles with...not sure what they're called....they are simply adorable and best of all you can get the whole set for about $35.00. This store is located in the Avalon and while it's not my favorite location....I prefer the Lenox location. I think they could use some improvement on their customer service. Terrible customer service! Ordered an item 10/14 and was told it was in stock and would arrive in a few days. Called back a week later was told it had shipped and had a tracking number and would arrive in a couple of days. Called back 10/27 was told it had not shipped but would ship that day and they would pay for express shipping and would arrive by Monday. Received an email that it shipped Monday. You advertise free and fast customer pick up and my experience was not even remotely free or fast. There is a space outside your Avalon store that is designated for customer pick up that was occupied by non customers. It is your responsibility to your customer first, therefore having those vehicles towed also falls under your responsibilities to your customers. Since those parking spots were occupied, I parked elsewhere and went inside to pick up my package. Your service representative said that the package was large and bulky and that it would be easier for them if they brought it out the side door. He assured me that as soon as we called the store number they would bring the package out. Thirty minutes after I called, sat blocking the street with nowhere to go, and after being accosted by driver after driver, I got out and had to go push the button at the back door. Five minutes after that they came out with our package. All of this could have been avoided, and the time spent waiting on the package would have been tolerable had your customer loading zone been cleared for customer use only. It's not free when it cost you time, money, and the company, through their negligence, adds frustration to your experience. Additionally, I reached out to the company in a review and requested to be contacted and was not contacted and it has been a couple of weeks. It is sad that you have to post something publicly, that they cannot remove, to get a response from them. read more

Crate & Barrel Avalon is a large store with plenty of merchandise to browse through. The staff is okay, because they usually don't speak to you unless you speak to them first. They do require masks in the store, but they will provide masks if you need one. read more

The employees here are friendly, some more than others. The store is small, but they have everything from furniture sets to utensils. There will be holiday décor too. Some of the holiday wreaths were $50. Yikes! You can order the item you want and have it shipped to the store to save you about $90 or $99. If you're needing to pick up a large item from the store, park at the loading zone that's to the side of the store and ring the doorbell. An employee should be out to assist. You can park in the deck area that's free versus the metered parallel parking that's $2 per hour. Aim for the side with Whole Foods as a reference point for Crate and Barrel. read more

I was snatched from the Perimeter location to help build this store many years ago and our hard work paid off- this is an aesthetically beautiful store with great employees! When you walk in there is always someone there to greet you. This store has everything you could want to build your home- furniture, barware, bedding, bathroom accessories, gourmet foods and cookware, etc. It has a contemporary feel but also accommodates the more traditional client as well. But this review comes with a warning- it is NOT in Northpoint mall. This confuses a lot of people. It is in a strip mall a few blocks from the mall itself, near a Barnes and Noble. read more

I would NOT recommend furnitures. I got 2 sofas (more than $5K) with custom fabric and paid extra for extra protection. 11 Months later the fabric looks terrible, and the feathers coming out everywhere. Initially I approach to deal with Customer Support who help zero. When a file a complaint, they sent a inspector " from the manufacturer ", but the report says that fabric has not issues. In other words they will not respond. I hired an attorney to deal this situation, and the had to re upholstery both sofas. read more

I have only visited this location once, but boy did I love it. The only problem was that I wanted to buy everything in here! The place is very well laid-out. Items are appealingly arrayed and it's easy to find what you are looking for. It's sort of like a MUCH more upscale Target in the fact that you can walk in here and realize that you "need" everything in the store. The layout just makes the items jump out at you and you can easily walk out with your wallet drained dry. The selection at this location is much better than at others I have visited. The service is about the same--cheerful, polite, and helpful. And I have never been anything but happy with anything I purchased at Crate and Barrel. I've been going here for ages -- literally -- since they first opened. I've seen the staff evolve from indifferent and bigoted (who are only willing to assist you if you pull-in in a car that has either one of the following emblems: MB, P, RR, or B) to the more customer-service friendly of today. I like this store. I like how the merchandise is set-up and organized into specific areas so you can browse efficiently. Current favorite finds: pre-mixed drinks in two different flavors: Ginger-Peach tea and Jalapeño Lemonade. The lemonade is super spicy and very refreshing. Add your favorite alcohol of choice and you now have a perfect cocktail for lazy afternoons. Yum. read more

This store has some of the best customer service ive run into. Ive gone in there for Christmas presents, birthday presents, wedding showers, and when theres $20.00 burning a hole in my pocket :). Always greeted warmly, they dont crowd, but are always available to help find something or make a suggestion. LOVE the wrapping, saves $ and hassle ( especially for the procrastinators out there) I get coupons emailed to me but not an overload of junk. I dont think i have had a bad experience in a crate and barrel. I just appreciate the quality customer service and beautiful products they have :) read more

I Love this store! It is situated in an area with plenty of parking. The store always has something you can buy on sale. There are plenty of customer service people and they are always friendly. I normally replace my glassware from here and I have gotten some very good deals. They can be pricey with little trinkets, but do your research and check out the on sale items. read more

Pretty great customer service for a larger chain retailer. My experiences are more limited to the furniture side of the store but in my limited interaction with the kitchenware side, the reps seem nice and capable as well. Back to the furniture side - Michelle is pretty great at what she does. She's not a pushy sales associate but has a more natural approach to selling. One thing that I appreciate about her is that she's not looking to close the deal immediately; instead, she's willing to work and explore and wait for you to decide on a piece of furniture while maintaining helpfulness all along the way. Also, the back end customer service after you purchase is pretty great, too, including the delivery team and the follow up call to make sure things are perfect. I definitely recommend this North Point location over the one in Buckhead. read more

Okay, finding this place if you are an out-of-towner like myself is a giant headache. Actually, finding anything in the North Point shopping area is a headache because of all the trees (very nice and ornamental, but I think I drove in circles for ever around there!). The store is really beautiful; the biggest and nicest Crate and Barrel I've ever been to. I love the furniture section. I could live in there. Recently, though, I've had a sketchy experience with some of my wedding gifts (we registered at Crate and Barrel) and no one from the company has gotten back to me. So, I'm feeling a little disillusioned about the company at the moment. Maybe $$ doesn't always equal quality... we'll have to see. **Edited to add: Customer service finally got back to me after about a week. They offered to replace any defective dinnerware and were very helpful and apologetic. At that point, it was just one plate but since then (in a matter of days), several other plates from the set have gotten stained from normal use. So, BEWARE of the Kita dinnerware if you want everyday dishes that you can actually USE. We're returning all of the plates we received as gifts and are still going to get replacements of another type of dinnerware from the store... but I'm gunshy now, and I would warn all future brides or customers to ask lots of questions about the durability of the dinnerware you are interested in. We just assumed that the quality of Crate and Barrel would be outstanding, and we selected our dishes mostly based on aesthetics. Their products are expensive, so I expect excellent service but they fall short. C&B executives need to move the company into the modern era.
