Me again! Well, now I have an actual review after having used Ferguson. Again, wonderful front desk service. Pleasant as can be. My wife and I are renovating our basement and we came here to shop for bath fixtures and a bath tub. We met with a sales associate who was pleasant and somewhat helpful. But, I don't feel she did much in terms of service besides walking us around to the fixtures, pointing at them and, well, that's about it. We could have done that ourselves. Anyway, we told her all the items we wanted, including a $5000 bath tub. In total, we had about $12,000 in our 'cart'. We went home to confirm we had everything we needed. In the meantime, I decided to price compare before we pulled the trigger. Literally every single item we had in our cart could be found SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper elsewhere. So much so that when I told my wife the prices I was seeing, she couldn't believe it. After finding every item at Home Depot, Amazon, Kohler, etc, the difference was about $3700 in savings. Not only the fact that they are waaaaaaayyyyyyy overpriced, the sales associate was completely unresponsive to any email correspondence I sent her. I asked her questions multiple times through email and she just never responded. Surprising but after the price comparison, I never planned on buying from them anyway. If you're in the area, it's a nice place to go to look around, see things in person, be inspired, but as far as purchasing, you can find better deals anywhere else. I really can't understand how they justify their pricing when we live in a world where looking up competitor prices is literally at our fingertips. read more

I just interacted with Jamil Byers at their Alpharetta location. It was a super small purchase but Jamil treated me like it was a $10,000 sale. He made sure that I had the right part and knew how to install it. Kudos to Jamil and the parts staff!! read more

No doubt they carry a nice variety of higher end products, but I have yet to have a good experience here. I was there recently for "one last shot" for some things for a kitchen remodel. My purchase wouldn't make their month, but still a nice $4k sale. We selected some things and there was one that needed some clarification on. They were closing shortly, so she had all info on us and what we wanted to buy. We would hear from her on Monday. Needless to say, Monday came and went, as did the next several and no word. The staff is snobby. I call to place an order and no one is ever available to assist me or take a message. I was told that I would have to keep calling back. When I did speak with someone, she was fine (yet snobby) until she quit working there. Everyone that works there has an I'm above you (better than you) attitude. Delivery is a huge nightmare. In the past year I have purchased multiple items that required delivery. Every time, the delivery contractors would reach out with an excuse as to why they needed to reschedule. They would wait until after the delivery window began. They don't care that you emptied the fridge waiting on the new one. Extremely inconsiderate. I will not purchase anything from them ever again. read more

WOULDA, SHOULDA, COULDA, SO WHAT? You know what's annoying about people when they get angry with a particular service? Their tendency to start bragging about how much they would have or could have spent if only the company had better service. That is tacky and irrelevant, stop it and move on! Yes, they're pricey, they are in Alpharetta! Sometimes, it is just about location and some stores have a different pricing structure based on the surrounding area or address. If customer service is that important to you, make an appointment because they don't have sales staff on the floor, their staff is actually busy completing designs and processing orders. If you want a sales person on the floor, head to Lowe's. Yes, these stores tend to be very pricey because they are in business to make as much of a profit as possible and if they can get you to pay $7000 for that tub, they are winning! There are other options for purchasing kitchen and bath appliances, fixtures and accessories. However, if you don't want to spend the time really searching the various options and you don't mind plunking down the cash, this store just might be your ticket. I like this store over their competitor because they had a greater variety and it didn't read "pretentious". You might look up and see "Game of Thrones" and Cinderella sharing the same space, (lighting). When it comes to my kitchen and bath decor, it needs to be simple and clean in design. These are highly functional areas that must be calm, relaxing and free of visual clutter or bling. Showrooms are obviously designed to get your attention and they do because they have beautiful inventory. No doubt. I didn't see anything that caused me to get super excited so my search continues. ***When I entered the store, I was warmly greeted by the receptionist and signed in. I was told that there were no sales people on the floor but if I needed more information regarding an item, I could just let her know. I was then free to browse unbothered. ***Remember, if you know going in that you will require assistance, make an appointment. ***Don't feel obligated to purchase here, comparison shop like you do for everything else. read more

Don Harris in the Plumbing division was exceptionally helpful to me today. I came in with the hose from my kitchen faucet and he helped me identify which brand and style it was tied to. There's no way I could've figured this out without his help. While there I saw several examples of stellar customer service. One worker helped a lady return the wrong toilet flush and get the right one she needed. This took a fair amount of patience and a lot of knowledge on toilets and the products they carry. Knowledge of product and customer service was exemplary. FYI the folks at a bigger store sent me here. Highly recommend the plumbing side. If I have an opportunity I'll try the showroom read more

Have previously posted a review of the Alpharetta location. My problem was with the manager, Jonathan Cameron. He made a deal with the crooked contractor that we worked with on a renovation and gave away my vent hood insert that was supposed to be included with the suite of Thermador appliances that I purchased. He substituted a much cheaper hood insert. Never made it right. Who knows what happened to the one that I was supposed to receive (other than the two crooks)? Ferguson did not stand behind it. Thermador did not stand behind it either. Still having trouble with the range that I purchased and have had a very difficult time working with Thermador on that. Would not deal with Ferguson's in Alpharetta again! read more

This review is based solely on my experience here, not the product lines. They seem to have a good (but very pricey) selection of faucets, tubs, etc. but they also seem to lack any customer service skills. While today's visit is my first Yelp check in, it's the third time I've been to this showroom and each time the customer service experience has been the same: zilch. From entering the door, to wandering around the entire showroom to trying to read the data on the tags, I am completely ignored by the staff. Not a greeting or an offer of assistance on any of the three visits. I hate to make assumptions, but perhaps if I didn't wear my jeans and a ball cap, they would react differently? Maybe if I wore some of my designer clothing, I'd at least get a greeting? Letting customers walk out the door feeling ignored isn't usually the way to create more profit, but perhaps they have enough customers and don't need me. That's unfortunate, as we're ready to make changes now to our kitchen and plan more changes to all our bathrooms later this year. Since Ferguson apparently doesn't need our business, we'll take it elsewhere. read more

I walked in and was told that if I didn't have an appointment no one could help me. Okay, fine. I found the bathtub I wanted, no tag. I asked someone, who asked someone else. I bought a double-oven, refrigerator and dishwasher from Fergusons a few years back. It was much more expensive than I planned but I gave them a pass as "experts". This week, I found that I needed a new cooktop (older downdraft) as I have new countertops coming next week and needed some help getting something quickly. Thinking we were return customers, my wife visited the Alpharetta location and they said to call "Patrick" for help as no one was in the location to help her. I called "Patrick" and was sent to "Ethan" who was very nice but said no cooktops are in-stock and I needed to order something but come in to see what they had. No help. I went in today based on what he said and was told by the front desk (Harriett) that no one was available to help me but I could look on my own. I did. I waited 40 minutes and no one came by. I did find a book and picked a cooktop so I thought that was good so I went to the front to get a price but was told that they couldn't give me a price. I would have to wait fo an associate. Harriett at the desk said I should call "Ethan" to get a price. Given I needed specs I thought this would work though I was frustrated I wasted an hour. No such luck. Ethan never called me back and I still have no idea what the unit costs. This business model should (and will) cause this company to go under. I can order the exact product from multiple sellers who will answer immediately. Fergusons has an obvious bias to builders and design firms but need to understand that the world has changed. I am buying the unit to sell my house in an effort to completely renovate a new new one and WILL NOT USE FERGUSON for any upgrades. They have old school thinking and need to understand that that I can buy all of their products cheaper and can get much better client service at multiple places...especially online. If you are renovating or buying new, you should explore all options. These guys are living in the past and are focused on the wrong thing. They should wake up or continue down the road to irrelevance. read more

You can come in and browse but if you need help you must schedule an appointment. After calling several times and playing phone tag we gave up and visited anyway. They have a nice and Impressive showroom that includes indoor/outdoor lighting in addition to the kitchen/bath. More impressive was the vast array of employees sitting at desks throughout the showroom surfing the internet. They didn't look busy to me. And there were a LOT of them. We found what we wanted on the display, and went next door to the parts counter to place our order. Showroom staff are totally useless. They didn't care either and simply gawked. We found other customers walking around trying to get help too. Find what you want on the internet, checkout the showroom to see it in person and verify it's what you want, then go next door to the parts counter and order it. No frustration and no pretentious people to deal with. read more

Not sure why rating is so low. My only interaction with them and I am blown away. I called them after getting shut down by multiple suppliers, plumbers, contractors and even the manufacturer of our tub fixture, all who said they could not help me get a replacement part. Ten minutes on the phone with Heather explaining my issue and she called me back within an hour to inform me she would have the part within a week. I will definitely come to Ferguson again for future needs. read more

We built our home in Milton GA. over a two year period from 1998 to 2000. All lighting,appliances and plumbing were sourced through Ferguson by our builder Back then it was a great customer experience! Fast forward to July 2018 and we are long over due for a remodel. Calls to set up an appointment with a consultant to visit the showroom were not returned after 7 days. Three follow up calls on days 3,4 and 5 to their 800 # which is an out of state call center also did not get the local Alpharetta location to call us. Glad their key competitor ( PDI in Alpharetta ) stepped in with the same products called us back the same day and accommodated our initial remodel order for 35k+ today 7/20/18 Ferguson is now a large public company and their care for repeat business and responsiveness has obviously changed. read more

The worst customer service ever- we went in on a Saturday and left our number for a call back to set up an appointment. I ended up calling them on Wednesday. After being transferred to every snooty, incompetent receptionist they had I finally talked to some guy who basically told me my job was too small. Seriously?? Had a Viking range orderd for 30 days paid for coming from Tampa location, never happened, no communication that it wasn't coming, Store Manger is slow walking our refund by 5 days, Buyer Beware. But it all worked out ordered a more expensive range from a family owned Guy Gunther in downtown Atlanta, very professional company. Do your homework. read more

Called to check on the status of a credit that should have been credited to my credit card the previous week. They accidentally credited it to my plumbers account. When I told him to hold on while I checked something the salesman (John Kerns) thought I wasn't listening on the phone and began to insult me to a coworker while he was on the phone...didn't realize I was still there and he hadn't put me on mute. I bought a refrigerator 90+ days ago. Refrigerator was damaged at arrival. I was promised quick repair but was pushed off to their vendor Flamingo appliance repair. Flamingo has canceled 3 appointments on me at the last minute and I still don't have a fully functional refrigerator. I called Ferguson to complain but nobody cared at Ferguson. Unfortunately, this company has no customer service skills at all. They are arrogant and act as though the customer should be bowing to them at every step of the process. Despite spending over $32,000.00 at their establishment, when I went to return a trim kit that the sales representative Latonia ordered for us- I was told that they could not do that - really???? I was trying to just get store credit of ~$700 when we had spent OVER $32K. Please don't use this company - you will regret it- especially with their CUSTOMER NO-SERVICE! We had to purchase an outdoor grill system this summer- so, when they refused the $700 credit- I took my $10,000.00 purchase to the MAD HATTER. I have always felt that consumers are quick to complain and rarely take the time to to praise. That observation has become especially true in these difficult times of Covid. With that said, I want to say thank you to the exceptional service we received from Jonathan Cameron, Showroom Manager for Ferguson Showroom in Roswell. We entered the Showroom and were invited to browse but, since we had not requested an appointment with a salesperson, we could only observe the vast inventory of design possibilities. We were thrilled when Jonathan greeted us with, " Do you have any questions I can help you with" Yes! We had many and he spent the next hour and a half with us offering knowledgeable and practical information we needed to hear.. It was a wonderful experience! After visiting several vendors, we are definitely planning to work with Jonathan and Ferguson on our various remodeling projects, It is a comfort to see exceptional customer service still exists. Called in to see if they carried valves to replace for my shower and because I'm a woman, he assumed I didn't know what I was talking about and said they didn't carry the parts I need. What kind of plumbing supply store doesn't carry parts for fixing a shower? A poor one. read more

Good selection of plumbing fixtures and appliances. This location has a great showroom and the sales staff are very helpful. I will say while they remain competitive on most items some things are priced right out there so do your research first and make sure you know what the ballpark price of the items should be. Otherwise they are really quick ( a couple of days) getting in special order items. read more

Horrendous experience. We purchased Wolf ovens and range from them, and the whole process took over 3 months to complete. All along the way were empty promises, delayed response, incorrect information and bad bad service. Calls to the general manager were never returned or even acknowledged. You end up feeling like a fool for spending over twenty grand and treated badly. Stay away from this company at all cost!!! read more

Ordered an oven that was "the last one in stock". Took a month of calling in circles to get them to finally tell me that it was finally "in". When I showed up to the showroom, they wanted me to place a new order. Then, they "found" it at their warehouse, and sent me over to pick it up myself. Very disappointed in the customer service. I bought a Jenn Air range and upon installation discovered a scratch on it. Spent months communicating with Latoya at the Buckhead store. Not once did she get back to me -I had to initiate all contact. While she and her manager tried to get some compensation from Jenn Air (I finally received a check for $76.58 -no explanation why that amount??) I was told that they were waiting for approval from Ferguson's for an additional $100 credit (on a $2800 range). Never heard back from them and my email goes unanswered. I also had a problem with the installation of the range (their technician) and only had it happily resolved because my contractor intervened. A totally irritating experience - walked in and was asked if we had an appointment by the snooty woman at the front desk. A really condescending attitude. No appointment then was handed a buzzer like at a restaurant and told to wait for a sales person. We left to shop at Howard Payne - much better service and same selection. We purchased the "tub of our dreams" from Latoya, a Kohler Escale tub with bubble jets, and had it delivered to our new construction home in the mountains. However, after many conversations with Kohler, our builders determined the tub is not recommended for a concrete slab installation and were not willing to warranty the installation work. We contacted Lotoya on a Monday morning and by 11:00 a.m., we had a new tub scheduled for a Wednesday delivery. She went above and beyond to keep our construction schedule on track and the new tub showed up exactly when she said it would. Thank you Latoya! read more

I am rating them a one star given I cannot go any lower. My wife and I were re-modeling our master bath room and went to their showroom in Alpharetta to look around to check on fixtures other than the Kohler fixtures we had pick out. We wanted to check everything out, one last time before spending $1700 dollars for shower, bathroom sink fixtures as well as a new sink and toilet. I had all the Kohler's SKU's listed along with a description that I was ready to buy. Given my youngest daughter was a Kohler designer, I am very very familiar with Kohler products. Could not get anyone to wait on us and after speaking with the young lady at the front desk, she stated that the sales personnel on the floor were waiting for appointments to arrive. The sales people were standing around shooting the SH*t. There were no other customers in the showroom but us . In any event, She said she would take the list and give it given sales person and they would get back to me. After a week I called and the front desk whereas lady remember me and said the sales women would get me a quote or call me. I had provided both my telephone number and email address. The bottom line is there was no call or email so I went to APEX Supply off of Rt 41 in Marietta, GA who has a very nice showroom. Not as large as Ferguson but well appointed with plenty of bathroom fixtures, sinks and toilets. The long and short of it, is I spend $1700 on the bathroom with Apex which by the way, the lady who runs the showroom was extremely knowledgable, helpful and a pleasure to work with. As far as I am concern Ferguson's is useless. read more

i went into this location on Wills Rd with my husband on a late afternoon. To greeting from the rude receptionist I had a bad feeling. I requested help and she asked do you have an appointment, I said No. There was no one in the showroom and I looked around as my husband had found a light for the kitchen but it wasn't on the flor. I returned to the receptionist and asked if someone could assist me with their website. She said, you have your phone! I said, I would like to talk to a sales person, she said let me see if anyone was available. Clearly someone should be available since no one was in the store. We waited 30 minutes which was stupid but a very nice lady tried to assist us. We left and went to Progressive lighting and made our purchase and shared our experience and they said, no surprise heard same type story this past weekend! Your prices are expensive and you may want to invest in customer NO Service for your receptionist. read more
