She was disorganized, a full blown introvert not wanting to speak to us, and most unusual at the end of the day she simply dropped her wet brushes and walked away - without saying she was leaving. Very strange. Every evening we would have to clean up after her, move her materials from in front of our refrigerator, and just wonder how her strange personality appeared so normal and a gifted decorator online. Finally, after she was done we noticed the color did not match our trim color. She left a can of paint behind with the numbers and store name. WE called and asked if it matched our house trim colors (gave them our numbers) and they said it didn't. To be fair, her husband stepped in after we raised the concern and sent us a check to settle the matter. Over the years the paint would easily chip off, flake, and we found numerous runs. Fast forward, now 10 years later we decided to repaint the cabinets. What was found is very upsetting. The toe kicks were never sanded, never cleaned of debris. We found them rough like sandpaper. When the paint she applied was sanded in preparation for repaint, it came off in sheets. The underlying cabinets were never sanded in many places, which caused her application to come off in sheets and large strips. The worse part is that we recall she bragged about being the teacher of others to instruct them how to properly prepare and paint cabinets. Judge for yourself if this is the kind of experience you want. WE paid thousands of dollars and now firmly believe she is unqualified, does not know how to properly prepare surfaces to be painted, and is just a strange person without regard to her customers' homes and needs.

When we did connect, he seemed miffed that I didn't stop everything and take his call the first time-something to the affect of after how many ever calls when I thanked him for getting in touch with me. That didn't quite get things off on the right foot. My contact with him was for an estimate on a kitchen update. We wanted to do some cosmetic improvements. Countertops, backsplash, new kitchen island, new sink. We have full wood cabinets and will not be changing those out. I also mentioned to Art that I would like a brick backsplash as my Dad was a brick mason. He said they have porcelain tiles that look like brick. I think he missed the point. Or, possibly wasn't listening. When I said we may want to paint or re-stain our cabinets, I was told by Art, the owner, that they replace or reface, nothing else. The name of the company, his FB, and Yelp would suggest he does kitchen design and remodel. This is not a kitchen remodel and design company, this is a cabinet refacing business. I was told unless I was spending $25K, it wasn't really worth his time. If you want someone to reface cabinets and don't mind someone you are paying being abrupt and rude, then maybe this is your place.

I'm not sure of the cost or project size needed for this contractor.

I was particularly impressed by the tile work and paint job in the laundry room. I am very critical of paint jobs, and I was pleased that I didn't have to redo anything due to sloppiness. The kitchen cabinets were stock cabinets and were pretty much installed in a few days. Zeus was also accommodating to some last minute additions. All in all, I am very pleased and if we have anything else to do in the house, I'm calling them. I wish I had pictures, but we need to do some tidying up still before that happens.

Poor quality door finish & AWFUL customer service!…read more I've purchased a ~$3000 front entry door from the Roswell location. the weather stripping on it was cut too short by the factory and had to be replaced. when I tried to contact their "customer service", the person I spoke with (Ishio) blamed me for "not checking the door before installing it" and was unable to offer a proper solution or send someone to fix/replace it. Returning the door at this point is not an option and they know it. Their "warranty" won't cover labor required to replace it (~$160) I was told that I should get a call from the general manager Tim, needless to say no one called.
