Pretty sure we bought out the store! Man it is tough when you move into a new house... where does all of the stuff you had go? It's like all of a sudden we didn't have anything! A simple stop in to get a few things turned into a several cart purchase! I mean when we started thinking about things it was like well we need this we need that we need 5 of those... it was crazy!! Good thing we were in bed bath and beyond... they had what we needed for the most part. And if they didn't have what we wanted exactly, they had several others to choose from. They were pretty wiped out on bathroom stuff... if they had the trash can and the floor mats they didn't have the shower curtain that matched. So we had to spend some time working it all out... but we were able to. Help in this place... like everywhere anymore... was limited but we were able to find a couple of people who were a great help eventually. This is just one of those places it is hard to get out of for under and arm and a leg!! I know we neds to go back again... but man... I really need to save up the energy and the cash! What is the deal with the horrendously long, boring lines to make purchases? I was excited when they began work on remodeling the purchasing and refund/exchange areas (counters, line path, self-checkout kiosks and full time attendant to stand around assisting in keeping the line moving). But, now that the renovation is done, nothing as changed. It still takes just as long plus you now much use their equipment (serf-serve) and more boring standing in line waiting time. I came in to exchange a single item I purchased last night that was defective. I did not want my money back, I like the product and just wanted to "exchange" it for one the same product that just was not damaged. Easy enough, right? Wrong. First, there is a note typed in black ink on a white 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper from an ink jet printer taped to a pole at the "Refunds / Exchanges" counter that says to get in line with those waiting to make purchases on the self-service kiosks. Borrrrrring. When I finally got to the front of that line I informed the employee I do not need to use a kiosk, I just need to exchange like product for like product. He then told me to pass on by the self-service checkout kiosks as I now have permission to go to the counter. Before moving on, I asked that employee was it really necessary for me to wait and wait and wait and wait in line with people waiting to make purchases at the self-service kiosks when I obviously after having waited in said line needed to move past all these kiosks just to get to the "exchange" counter? His short answer? . . . "yes". The employee at the exchange counter then kept trying to "refund" the defective item purchase and make me purchase a new (exactly the same) item. I explained that is fine, but make sure the coupon is transferred from the first purchase made yesterday and apply it to the new purchase today if that is what she needs to do. After an awkward two-second long stare and not verbally acknowledgement , she tried and tried and tried and tried to pull off this financial wizardry of a transaction until another employee who was listening in, walked over, took the broken product from me, handed me a replacement product and let me leave. Duh. What a genius move. I hope all the people behind me and to still to come are able to benefit from this "one" fabulously gifted employee's brilliance, unlike the many other common sense lacking employees. This company cannot get out of its own way and the people that suffer the most are not their poorly trained employees, but the customers who get wrapped up with them. Needless to day . . . I do not recommend this company when it comes to customer shopping experience. read more

Bed Bath & Beyond is a big box chain store that sells mainly bed, bath, living and dining merchandise. I like coming in here and looking at the kitchen gadgets. Looking for a kitchen timer? They have about 60. Stainless steel, plastic, digital, timer shaped like a chicken, an egg, a frying pan, a pig, a rolling pin-you name it and chances are there have it. You want a whisk for baking? They have about 18 different kinds. Big, bigger, small and medium. They have ones with silicone grips, stainless steel grips, regular plastic grips and whisks in different colors to mix and match. Want a ravioli press? They got it. $22.99. How about a pasta drying rack for $49.95. Want silicon lids for your mason jar that you can recap? they're $6.99. Looking for stainless steel straws? Yep. They got those too. $7.99. Can't live without a a nutmeg grater? For $34.99 you can take one home with ya. Don't forget they sell covers to put on your wine glass for your next outdoors social gatherings. $14.99 for a set of 2. Even if you don't want to buy anything. You definitely should come in and have a look. I was out here doing some shopping in the area and stopped by. I visited their Registry area, and the customer service was UNBELIEVABLE! The young lady in the area was so helpful and accommodating. I enjoy shopping at Bed Bath & Beyond because I can find everything I need (and don't need) for very good prices. I was able to find some nice glassware for a great amount. The interior of the store wasn't as clean as I liked, but this is due to the fact that they are undergoing renovations. I'm sure it will be very nice when they are done. read more

One of my favorite stores for their vast selection of quality products and excellent customer service, shopping at Bed Bath & Beyond has always been an exciting event for me. Since I never leave there without at least one full cart, I typically set aside a full day for this shopping "event". Last weekend was one of these days. Having just moved into a new home after enduring a year long illness, I was looking forward to a new start in life. However, due to some physical limitations, it was difficult to maneuver my way through the store as quickly and efficiently as I did in the past. I am not accustomed to asking for help, but the events of this year have taught me that I cannot do everything alone. As I found items I needed, I realized I did not have to look around for a sales professional for help. Lisa, my "angel" for the day, seemed to be right where I needed her to be at the right time, EVERY time! I am a stickler for good customer service, and if you have read my prior reviews, you will quickly realize that no matter how great of a store or service industry, if the customer service is poor, I will never return. On this particular day, I was in extreme pain due to a horrible moving experience with a moving company that was careless, not thorough, and had ruined not only my new home with their carelessness, but also, had ruined my personal property and left the other half of my property at my old home. Needless to say, it was a traumatic experience on top of an already traumatic event (moving). I was looking for items to replace my losses, add "happiness" to my home, and I was having a difficult time lifting anything and maneuvering my way around the store. And then I met a team member, Lisa... Lisa was outstanding! She stayed with me and helped me lift items, put them into my cart, answer my questions, give me her opinion when asked, and even introduced me to the fact that many of the items of which I was in need but could not carry, could be purchased at the store and shipped directly to my front door. I "went to town" when I learned about this option! After filling one cart full of products, Lisa secured the cart and actually went outside to get me a second cart. Had it not been for the excruciating pain I was in, I probably would have filled at least two more carts. Why? Because of Lisa's remarkable customer care, knowledge of the products they sell, and her excellent recommendations to make my living accommodations a little easier to manage. At the end of my little "spree", Lisa accompanied me to the register where she asked whether I had any of their 20% and $5 coupons (always offered if you sign up on the Bed Bath Beyond website). Lisa, with the assistance of an outstanding cashier Niara, applied the coupons in such a way that I would get the most "bang for my buck". As if that in itself was not extremely appreciated, the store manager Dave, appeared out of nowhere and offered to carry my purchases to my vehicle. Keep in mind, this was on a Saturday afternoon when the store was busy. It was obvious to me that through outstanding team work and genuine customer care, this store was, IS, and will continue to be the success it is due to its customer service oriented management team. Never before have I experienced such dedication, professionalism, kindness, and enthusiasm by salespeople (whom by the way, do NOT work on commission). It is now almost a week later and I am enjoying every single purchase. I cannot give enough praise and gratitude to the team at the Alpharetta store for the way they made me feel that day -- special and important to them. Good customer service is the bedrock to the success of every business! It's too bad we have so many businesses who cannot or do not emulate this simple strategy - and those businesses DO fail in the end. Great job team, and many many thanks!!! I absolutely love Bed, Bath, and Beyond! They have such awesome products at super affordable prices! They have an excellent selection of products. I have been shopping here occasionally for a while now. They pretty much have everything (candles, fans, bedding, towels, cooking gadgets, etc...). This is my go to place when I want certain products that I cannot and will not find at like Target or Walmart. This place has excellent customer service and excellent quality products. Can't believe I came back! The first time I came to this location I sat in line for about 20 minutes. It was the week before Christmas so I fully expected the wait. What I didn't anticipate is the cashier leaving from behind the register 3 times and then having to be paged back to the register after the fourth time. Items were not properly marked and the place was not clean or organized at all. Its so unlike what I normally expect from Bed Bath & Beyond. This location is understaffed and the staff that's there are terrible. Out of all the staff interactions I had to deal with (though only purchasing 3 items) no one was apologetic. My second time going back I sat in line once again for about 20 minutes. There were only two lines open yet I walked past several staffers who weren't doing anything. I asked someone for help finding a second pillow and they said ok give me one second and never returned. I'm amazed they feel so comfortable mistreating shoppers when there's an entire Target next door. I have seen one or two good sales but it's honestly just not worth it. read more

I love this store and it's amazing coupons. I just ordered on line and had a coupon for $15 off of $50. It is very easy to order and as the coupon came on my phone, it appeared automatically when checking out. I don't like receiving random coupons and offers-this is a great exception. I've had several recent unpleasant experiences at the North Point store. The Cashiers and Store Managers are unhelpful, unprofessional, and disrespectful of the customers. My two primary concerns - Inconsistent application of store "policy" - I returned an item with a receipt. However, since the electronic item (an unused coffee maker still in the original box) was purchased more than a year ago, the Store Manager would only refund $19.99. The sales receipt, also from the North Pont store, showed a purchase price of $149.99. He was rude, abrupt, and inflexible. So - I went to another area store and had no trouble returning the item and getting a refund for $149.99. Another example - I was having trouble pulling up my 20% coupon on my phone. The Cashier was not at all helpful and said she had no options -- she told me to go outside into the parking lot to get a better connection to get the coupon. I asked that we talk to the Store Manager. The Manger instructed the cashier to just use one of the 20% coupons at the cash register. So much for no other options!! Inconsistent treatment of customers - Today, I simply wanted to exchange an unused, unopened candle for another candle with a different scent. However, I did not have a receipt. Thus, the Casher and Store Manager both refused to allow me to make an "even exchange." They offered me a lower price (due to no receipt) and required that I pay the different in this lower price and the price marked on the floor - all because of no receipt. However, while I was standing at the Customer Service desk, another customer (different ethnicity than mine) returned a used, soiled pillow without any packaging and with no receipt. The Store Manager gladly let him exchange the item. I felt discriminated against (I am a mature, white male). I brought this to the Manager's attention, and he simply shrugged and smirked. A final example - I witnessed 3 Cashiers carefully helping an elderly Indian woman with a return (once again, no receipt) and overheard them saying, "We'll make an exception to help you." Every customer (whether white, Indian or any ethnicity) should be treated with the same level of respect and dignity. This saddens me, as I've been a loyal customer of this store for over 10 years and have purchased hundreds/thousands of dollars of merchandise. However, I will NOT shop there again. Life is too short to be treated rudely and disrespectfully. There are plenty of shopping alternatives. I hope Regional Management will address this issue at the North Point store. read more

The worker at the store told me they "simply could not wrap my gifts in the store without me calling the 1800 number" .... called the 1800 number they told me that is very weird and not usual... tried calling them, I'm assuming talked to the same woman and basically she refused to wrap the present just because she is lazy and doesn't feel like it. This is ridiculous and I have never heard of such laziness from a chain store in my life. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

The store is clean but under staffed at the register. You always have long lines waiting to checkout while you see several associates doing nothing but walking around saying "are you finding everything". No actually, I didn't find a fast check out. But this trip I specifically called to see if an item they advertise "In Store" was in stock for pickup at their location. I was assured it was. Drove to store and guess what, not in stock "but we can order it to the store for you, and won't charge you shipping". Maybe you don't understand what my question was when I called, DO YOU HAVE THIS IN STOCK! Anything you order over $50 is free shipping to your home and it's always free to ship to store for pick up, so what a great solution you have for wasting my time and gas to drive to your location... Sounds like you were too inconvenienced to actually check stock and didn't care enough about your customers time to me. So don't put yourself out, I can order on line myself from another vendor. read more

What bothers me about this store is that I can't ever seem to find anyone to help and when I do, they aren't very helpful. It has a great location in the Target shopping center with plenty of parking. The store is heavily stocked, almost to the point of being overstocked. There is always a ton of stuff in the aisles, which leads me to my problem. There is so much stuff that you have a tough time finding something specific. I needed seafood tools and when I finally found someone to help, they couldn't direct me to them. Nor, did they know what the heck I was talking about. Well, seafood crackers and picks. Blank stare and then I was directed to cutlery. Nope, not there either. For a store to be packed to the hilt you'd think there would be a seafood tools set. After wondering around for awhile, I decided that I would order something on Amazon. Most of the time, I'm coming looking for something specific and I can never find it. read more
