    My and my family were looking for some stuff for my new bed. And we realized they have almost no selection at all. And on top of that they have the worst costumer service ever!!

    One of my favorite stores for their vast selection of quality products and excellent customer service, shopping at Bed Bath & Beyond has always been an exciting event for me. Since I never leave there without at least one full cart, I typically set aside a full day for this shopping "event". Last weekend was one of these days. Having just moved into a new home after enduring a year long illness, I was looking forward to a new start in life. However, due to some physical limitations, it was difficult to maneuver my way through the store as quickly and efficiently as I did in the past. I am not accustomed to asking for help, but the events of this year have taught me that I cannot do everything alone. As I found items I needed, I realized I did not have to look around for a sales professional for help. Lisa, my "angel" for the day, seemed to be right where I needed her to be at the right time, EVERY time! I am a stickler for good customer service, and if you have read my prior reviews, you will quickly realize that no matter how great of a store or service industry, if the customer service is poor, I will never return. On this particular day, I was in extreme pain due to a horrible moving experience with a moving company that was careless, not thorough, and had ruined not only my new home with their carelessness, but also, had ruined my personal property and left the other half of my property at my old home. Needless to say, it was a traumatic experience on top of an already traumatic event (moving). I was looking for items to replace my losses, add "happiness" to my home, and I was having a difficult time lifting anything and maneuvering my way around the store. And then I met a team member, Lisa... Lisa was outstanding! She stayed with me and helped me lift items, put them into my cart, answer my questions, give me her opinion when asked, and even introduced me to the fact that many of the items of which I was in need but could not carry, could be purchased at the store and shipped directly to my front door. I "went to town" when I learned about this option! After filling one cart full of products, Lisa secured the cart and actually went outside to get me a second cart. Had it not been for the excruciating pain I was in, I probably would have filled at least two more carts. Why? Because of Lisa's remarkable customer care, knowledge of the products they sell, and her excellent recommendations to make my living accommodations a little easier to manage. At the end of my little "spree", Lisa accompanied me to the register where she asked whether I had any of their 20% and $5 coupons (always offered if you sign up on the Bed Bath Beyond website). Lisa, with the assistance of an outstanding cashier Niara, applied the coupons in such a way that I would get the most "bang for my buck". As if that in itself was not extremely appreciated, the store manager Dave, appeared out of nowhere and offered to carry my purchases to my vehicle. Keep in mind, this was on a Saturday afternoon when the store was busy. It was obvious to me that through outstanding team work and genuine customer care, this store was, IS, and will continue to be the success it is due to its customer service oriented management team. Never before have I experienced such dedication, professionalism, kindness, and enthusiasm by salespeople (whom by the way, do NOT work on commission). It is now almost a week later and I am enjoying every single purchase. I cannot give enough praise and gratitude to the team at the Alpharetta store for the way they made me feel that day -- special and important to them. Good customer service is the bedrock to the success of every business! It's too bad we have so many businesses who cannot or do not emulate this simple strategy - and those businesses DO fail in the end. Great job team, and many many thanks!!! I will be back ... again, and again, and again ....!

    BEWARE We had been…read morefriends with the owner of Bath & Kitchen Galleria - John Hogan - and decided to hire him because we thought we could trust him. We have learned too late that John is a man with no integrity. There are WAY too many issues to list in an online review but this was a 6 figure master bathroom remodel with a target completion date before Christmas - we finally moved back into our partially finished master suite in late March and now in June still stuck without resolution and threats to put liens on our home. One item or detail after another was missed countless times, and in every instance, he blamed us. When mistakes were made, he did agree to correct them without admitting fault, but then we later saw in the billing that he charged us to correct mistakes that he had made. When we asked questions he got mad and blew up and threatened to walk off the job. He belittled and insulted both of us on more than one occasion, calling me a 13 year old crying girl, even though we continued to try to take the high road and to just hope the job would be completed, but in the end, it proved impossible and he still walked off the job. He demanded a draw that equated to the balance remaining and when we asked for an accounting he provided confusing and convoluted ledgers that were impossible to make sense out of. He ultimately lost his temper yet again and canceled the contract and accused us of not paying our bills and threatened liens on our home even though our actual payments ($100k) have exceeded the contract amount ($98k). We had a small handful of changes most of which occurred earlier in the job and he never provided any written change orders so we kept track of the math. Only one of those changes could have added time to the job and we actually agreed on that one before construction began in November so while he tried to blame changes for not finishing within the timeframe, that was just another bogus tactic that was typical of John Hogan blame shifting. We have twice made increasing offers well beyond the original intended costs of the job in an effort to just try to close things out amicably and he somehow comes back with a new even higher price that can't be supported so we had to stop chasing outrageous and unjustified numbers. Beginning with the original contract and every financial interaction since, we encountered duplicate charges and erroneous billing on top of paying for his redo's, so it's disingenuous that he's accusing us of not paying his bills as no sane person would do so without the clarity that we were seeking. We have had to hire an attorney due to his threats to put liens on our home. When he canceled our contract and sent us a certified letter with a copy of the contract, he had slip sheeted the page that said "not to exceed" on the price and it was obvious because that page did not have initials at the bottom. We actually have an original copy of the fully executed contract with signatures and initials at the bottom, clearly stating the "not to exceed" pricing so the fact that he would pull such a stunt speaks volumes. He refers to and hides behind "the contract" over and over and it's clear that he has written that in a way to use it as a weapon. I wasn't sure whether to refer to him as "time-bomb John" or "Teflon John." He will never accept responsibility for anything that goes wrong and predictably will resort to insulting and blaming us on this review. I have never been so disappointed a human as what we experienced with John Hogan. I guess he must finish some projects in a satisfactory manor (I don't trust the authenticity of his glowing positive reviews with pictures) but just know you are playing roulette if you decide to go forward with him. He's definitely narcissistic, obnoxious and arrogant, but at this point, we think probably also a sociopath (he started out telling us he didn't even want to make any margin on our job because of the friendship). He has changed his company name twice, so do your homework and read all the reviews and make your decisions accordingly.

My wife and I are renovating our basement and we came here to shop for bath fixtures and a bath tub. We met with a sales associate who was pleasant and somewhat helpful. But, I don't feel she did much in terms of service besides walking us around to the fixtures, pointing at them and, well, that's about it. We could have done that ourselves. Anyway, we told her all the items we wanted, including a $5000 bath tub. In total, we had about $12,000 in our 'cart'. We went home to confirm we had everything we needed. In the meantime, I decided to price compare before we pulled the trigger. Literally every single item we had in our cart could be found SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper elsewhere. So much so that when I told my wife the prices I was seeing, she couldn't believe it. After finding every item at Home Depot, Amazon, Kohler, etc, the difference was about $3700 in savings. Not only the fact that they are waaaaaaayyyyyyy overpriced, the sales associate was completely unresponsive to any email correspondence I sent her. I asked her questions multiple times through email and she just never responded. Surprising but after the price comparison, I never planned on buying from them anyway. If you're in the area, it's a nice place to go to look around, see things in person, be inspired, but as far as purchasing, you can find better deals anywhere else. I really can't understand how they justify their pricing when we live in a world where looking up competitor prices is literally at our fingertips.

At first, things looked promising... but it quickly spiraled into one of the most frustrating experiences we've ever had with a contractor. By August -- four months later -- our project still wasn't finished. We were constantly the ones finding mistakes, chasing updates, and begging for things to be fixed. Our project manager, Tari, rarely communicated or planned ahead. His boss, Bill, stepped in for a while and seemed to care -- until the replacement island countertop was delivered. We had specifically requested a late-afternoon appointment so my wife and I could be there. Instead, they sent the crew when only our two adult daughters were home -- and no supervisor showed up. The crew spoke little English, didn't protect our brand-new floors (which they damaged), and then poured large amounts of acetone directly on our quartz countertop, scraping it with metal tools. If you've ever looked up quartz care, you know that's a recipe for damage. When my wife called Bill to ask if that was normal, he didn't explain -- he yelled at her. After months of problems, instead of making it right, they offered discounts. But we didn't hire them for a "discounted" disaster. We paid in full because we expected quality work done right the first time. If you value your time, your home, and your peace of mind, think very carefully before trusting UniqHouse with your project.
