The people who work here were super nice. They went out of their way to get the glasses I wanted. I love this place.

Great selection but CAVEAT EMPTOR when it comes to returns. Unlike almost all other sellers of…read moreplants (both outdoor and indoor), Gramma B's does not warranty any plants they do not maintain. Now, how often do you buy a plant and have the retailer come to your house to maintain the plants? I would assume NEVER. Almost all other sellers of plants realize this, assume buyers are honest and that they take care of plants according to the instructions given or provided by the seller or from a web-site, book or general knowledge. (Home Depot, Lowe's, Pike's, etc). But not this place. We paid a hefty price for the plants, paid an even heftier price for delivery and paid the price for a non-warrantied plant. BTW, we bought 2 of the same, one survived well, the other did not but somehow we were at fault even though both were taken care of in exactly the same manner. For the price, service and selection, I would recommend going elsewhere!

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I…read morewant to start by saying I have been going to Gramma B's since they opened. I have recommended them to many friends and associates. In the beginning, they were terrific and had great prices and the flowers/arrangements were gorgeous. Boxwoods but not as much is what I would say. Why the one star? I moved away for 2 years and returned to the States last year and of course returned to my favorite florist. Last Friday, I received my last order. I normally have Gramma B's put arrangements into my own pots. When I dropped off 2 of my pots I mentioned we would do hydrangeas and some greenery. Imagine my surprise when the bill came and I had been charged $500.00 (for 2)! Even when I mentioned to the owner's husband (who delivered the plants) that I thought the price seemed kind of high, he agreed! Here is the breakdown for each pot I was provided after I questioned the charge: (2) 10" Blooming Hydrangea 42 ea $84 (1) 6" Crocodile Fern 16 16 (2) 6" Varigated Ivy 12 24 (1) 8" Pothos 16 16 (2) 6" Rex Begonia 15 30 (1) 6" Zebra 11 11 (1) 4" Mother Fern 6 6 Soils, liner, moss reindeer, mood lichen 31 Labor & Design 30 Total $248 If I can, I will upload pictures of the pots. There is no doubt that the arrangements are beautiful, but I was sick to my stomach every time I thought about it and every time I passed the sign at Pike's saying "Hydrangeas $17.98". I then thought, perhaps the owner accidentally charged me for my containers, but that was not the case. I let her know, I couldn't keep the plants and that I would be bringing them back. I had truly hoped she would have worked with me. She said I had to pay for the labor (which I was fine with) and a restocking fee of $140 and I could only do it for the next 24hrs. So basically I had to pay $200 for nothing. This has been an extremely disappointing experience. Especially since when I went back to return the plants, the owner proceeded to make me feel like I had done something wrong and tried to "school" me by saying next time I needed to provide a budget. Who knew you needed to mention a budget for hydrangeas, greens and dirt? I was happy for their success and to see how much they have grown. Especially since Sandy Springs really needs a great florist. Unfortunately, I guess I'm still looking.

At $80 they would have been a tad overpriced, but the deal made them just right. Contrary to the other review I found the staff to be very friendly. The home decor styles they have here are definitely my taste but above my current budget. If you're hunting for some random furniture or interesting wall pieces I would definitely recommend hitting this shop if you're in the area.

Whatever you need you can find it here and be giving your money to small business which is always a good thing! My review is for their re-upholstery services though. Bet you didn't know they did re-upholstery, did you? Neither did I until City Issue referred me to them. Apparently they do some of City Issue's mid century modern furniture re-upholstery. For starters I bought this absolutely gorgeous mid century Dux chair that was covered in this hideous stained fabric that I knew I could get redone to look more period; the price was good so I had to buy it. After I bought the chair I had an email convo with one of the designers to get a quote for my chair and ottoman. I provided her with pictures and dimensions. She gave me the quote, $350 which isn't that much considering the front and back needed to be replaced as well as the ottoman. She also asked me to come in and pick a fabric. They have loads of fabrics to choose from; all styles and all price ranges. They also will let you bring in your own fabric, which is what I did (I bought my fabric at Lewis and Sheron). They quoted me a time of when my chair would be ready. I picked it up when it was done and my jaw dropped. My chair was now pimped out and bad ass. They did a wonderful job and I am so happy that I used Nandina. That chair is now my seating pride and joy. *I will post some pictures when I get around to taking them.

From the armoires to the chairs . . . lamps . . . candles . . . prints. I love it all! It's like the most fabulous cross between what I'd call casual posh/sophisticated chic and punchy color love! Ah, just "window shopping" here makes me happy. Good thing there's Pinterest so I can keep making my dream home board!!

The store was decked out in all white and the pop of color was shown in the cute accessories, lush fabrics, and gorgeous furniture. I definitely felt a bit of a Miami vibe and was instantly greeted by the adorable store owner, Lee Kleinhelter. I honestly could not believe this was my first time in this store! Every piece of furniture is high quality and very unique. Please note, if you are looking for white leather pieces for your room, look no further! Anyways, as the boyfriend converts to school girl mode (you know the gasping and high-pitch screaming with delight), I took the opportunity to browse the store on my own to find some hidden treasures. Check out the lamps (both table and pendants), fun gifts and accessories (i.e. books on Miami style and miniature knit purses that store colored pencils), and the brightly colored fabric pillows. Oh and the BEST THING...what better way to accessorize your home then man's best friend! That's right, not only does Pieces sell furniture, but they sell dog goodies! Some things to highlight are the camouflage raincoats, multi-colored leather and fabric dog collars, and dog polos! I hang out at a lot of pet stores and was impressed with their selection, since I have not seen many of the brands they carry. I'll definitely be heading back soon to buy my dog something as well as a couple of those Glass Globe Pendants for the loft!

Well, no one answered the phone most times I called, the one time he did pick up the phone, I hung up after 15 mins on hold. No answer when I called back. I left work early and went in anyway. The person working was less than friendly and refused to test my water because I was not 100% sure of the gallons in my pool, despite my having a fairly accurate number due to having just gotten estimates to get the pool refinished. When I mentioned that I had called several times I got "well I'm working alone and am very busy" .... So busy that he was outside the store lounging on his cell phone when I got there, with zero people inside the store. Lesson learned? Don't bother calling and if they haven't done work for you in the past (aka someone from their company measured the pool) they don't have much interest. 1.5 hours of my working day wasted.

After waiting 10 minutes and asking was it back up yet, the assistant manager told me "no I would have to call help desk and I doubt they can get it up before 7pm". Then I asked if he could call the next location and ask if they would wait for me to arrive as a courtesy since we drove 40 minutes to Sandy Springs. Instead of calling he states "if you can get there in 10 min they'll wait". So I ask again if he could call just hoping he would act like he gave any care he says "I mean they close at 7 I doubt it." Keep in mind the next location is 13min away according to gps. I then walk out 6:55 as I call the Jhonson Ferry location & the door is locked immediately behind us. I speak with the Chazz at the other location he states he would wait a few for us to arrive. We tell him gps say we'd arrive at 7:09 pm. He first says he'll wait for a little then ask where we are coming from and we tell him the Sandy Springs location. He then states "I don't think you'll make it here that fast with traffic" I tell him I'm en-route and gps say 7:09. Chazz then resends and says "no I'm just going to close at 7 today" whoever is teaching these guys customer service needs to let them know the importance of if a customer is there you should exhaust solutions in order to feel that customers request not continue to let the customer know that you close at 7 PM. I can think of multiple solutions that could've been offered if his system was down one being call the next location that had it in stock and make the purchase through that location. I worked at enterprise for seven years as a manager before starting my own company and not only would we wait until we had the last customer out the door before we closed, if a neighboring location was in need especially the manager would be willing to stick around for a few minutes to help. Closing time is only when the doors are locked not the time that you stop helping existing customers. The nonchalant Ness equals terrible service now I'd never want to give business here.
