This Lowe's was conveniently located for me. I knew what I needed, busy nor where do find it. Two things: 1) Layout: The floors are so overcrowded with end caps and superfluous displays. This could us a good rethink. 2) Service: While I understand that not every associate knows the store precisely, I was directed by 3 separate staff to the wrong location, WITHOUT escort!!! By this time I am livid and came really close to leaving my catt and few items where I stood!! Ihave it one last go. My last ditch effort resulted in - not one but - 2 of the kindest gentlemen, helping to the find what was needed. Went in for paint for my front exterior door. Brought paint can in with code from approx 10 yrs ago. Paint rep was very helpful in getting me the correct mix Valspar satin finish. Had no issues. Would recommend the paint section of this store. They were very helpful in getting me what I needed and on my way. read more

I went to this Lowe's to get a piece of glass cut. First I was informed no one was there that could cut glass. I inquired about the manager or assistant manager cutting the glass. After a few minutes someone came over and told me that if I wanted the glass cut "good" then I would have to wait for some fella that was on lunch break to come back and cut the glass. I stated it was one simple cut, and I just wanted the glass cut so the associate walked over to the glass cutting area and then decided that the glass cutting device was out of order. I wish the same effort that was put into not cutting the glass was put into actually cutting glass and I would've had my piece of glass without having to drive to two other stores. I expect I'll not be going back to this Lowe's and maybe any Lowe's. read more

Don't buy any appliances from Lowe's . We bought a costly washing machine from them. My husband measured the machine at the store but he was unable to actually see the depth of the machine so when it arrived it did not fit our space. Rather than send it back we paid for an expensive carpenter to come in and redesign the opening to fit the machine. A week or so later we removed the protective tapes and energy saving tags only to discover a chip in the enamel in the front. We asked the manager either for an exchange or a rebate of some kind. They refused because without us knowing there was only a 48 hour window of return or report of damage. They were not nice or accommodating at all. Buy from Costco..I learned my lesson... read more

I went in looking for a particular item. Quickly, I ran upon an associate to help me. Although, he was anxious to tell me that Lowe's didn't sell that particular item. Until I pulled up the item on the Lowe's app on my phone and showed it to him. Then, he took out his little hand-held device preceded to look up the product and led me straight to it. Afterward, another sales associate came up to me asking if she could help me with anything? I told her no and thanked her. On my way to check-out, I remembered I needed some bristle flat paint brushes. I asked these two wandering associates, and they just looked at me like a deer caught in head lights. One turned around and asked another associate, and she sent me to Aisle 38. I walked from the front all the way back to Aisle 38, only to find she misled me. I tried to find them on my own. Needless to say, after wandering around for five to six minutes. I gave up. On my way back to check-out, I ran into two associates just chilling, propped up in the middle of the aisle talking. I asked them, "Do you know which aisle I can find the paint brushes?" "Yes," one responded. "However, I rather show you ma'am. "If you don't mind?" Of course, I did not! DON'T EVEN BOTHER!!! You can travel a half hour out of your way to the nearest Home Depot and STILL save time and money. There is NOBODY there to help you, NOBODY there to talk to you on the phone and their return policy is HORRIBLE!! I have purchased over $50 worth of merchandise there which they would NOT take back because I didn't have the receipt and they couldn't find the charges on my credit card (I only use one forHome improvement purposes so I KNOW which one it's on). They KNEW the $50 infrared thermometer that didn't work was from their store and was purchased recently and still REFUSED to give me even a store credit after making me go back and find the item on the rack after they could NOT find it in their computer! Ordered a dishwasher online for store pickup. Happy that it arrived at the store a few days earlier than expected. Also expected to stop by for a quick pickup of the dishwasher. At the pickup counter, the associate was quick and checked me in, letting me know that the dishwasher would be up from the back right away. Unfortunately, I do not think I have ever seen any store associate walk so slowly, almost aimlessly. Instead of hustling or even walking normally, to the back, he was strolling. Then I saw him stroll back up to the front because, apparently, he could not locate the dishwasher. Then he leisurely strolled back to the back of the store. I offered, 3 different times, to go back there and get the dw myself. The customer service person assured me it was coming. Almost 45 minutes later, he walked up with the dw on a cart. How absolutely frustrating to watch someone stroll (wish I had a better word) back and forth. read more

I did pick up the second time he called, but he went off on me for not answering the phone! I tried to explain that I was on a conference call and couldn't take his call. I'm a big fan of Lowe's, I've been to several in the metro Atlanta area and always leave a happy customer. Whether I'm looking for spray paint to paint my patio furniture with or organizers for my messy garage. They have it all. Most of all super friendly and helpful associates. No question is too silly...like....how do I get spray paint off my drive way because I forgot to lay newspaper down when I was spray painting and now I'm getting threating letters from my HOA? The solution? Go and spray paint the president of the HOA's drive way and that way you're even...I would never ever do that...and get caught.... I came in to get a new smoke alarm for my garage because it was beeping like crazy and driving me nuts...even after I replaced the batteries....I was greeted at the door by a nice gentleman who walked me to the aisle. My mom bought me a dishwasher from Lowe's for my birthday. The dishwasher was purchased several days before my birthday hoping that the dishwasher could be installed and ready to go on the actual day. My mom gave my contact information to the store to figure out the best installation date that works with my schedule. They were supposed to call me within 48 hours. They called me 4 days later to schedule an installation date for 2 weeks out. Way past my birthday. The night before the scheduled installation Lowe's called me to notify me that they would not be able to come the next day. I had already requested the day off for the installers, and now I'm supposed to wait another 48 hours to reschedule the installation date. Hopefully it won't be another 4 days I have to wait to even get a rescheduled installation date. read more

I came to get a new key cut and had to stand at the key counter for over five minutes waiting for an employee to acknowledge me even though several walked by. There's a button at the counter to push if you need help but the button didn't work. Finally someone saw me and asked if I need help (kind of a stupid thing if I'm just standing there). She called someone to assist me. The woman arrived to cut the key and did not say one single word to me. Not even when she handed me the finished product. I went to check out and there was no greeting from this employee either. No thank you, no have a nice day, no nothing. Now for the kicker, I go back to work to use the key and it doesn't work!! WTF?! I had a very good experience at this Lowe's. We went to Lowe's looking to purchase paint, a paint gun, and pool materials. At this Lowe's we were able to find everything we were looking for. Fortunately for us, Lowe's also sells Sherman Williams paint, which its competitor Home Depot does not carry. When we go to the paint gun section, a worker helped us pick out the right paint gun as my friends and I were looking to paint an exterior wall surrounding a pool. We got a paint gun that worked very well at an affordable price. All in all, it was a quick and successful mission to the hardware store. read more

While impressed by their store staff and the low prices, I am not so impressed by their delivery people. On Saturday Lowe's delivered my appliances I ordered. I wasn't at home at the time so I could not supervise their setup and installation of the appliances. Instead of setting up and installing the appliances I ordered they just basically brought them into the house and left them. I called Lowe's and bitched until the agreed to send someone out the next day. I could not wait any longer for them as I needed to put things in the refrigerator and wash my clothes that day, so I set everything up myself. The refrigerator we ordered didn't fit, so I ended up tearing out a countertop and cabinet to make it fit. The washer and dryer were not stacked, so I ended up installing the stack kit and stacking those myself. The next day we had another delivery crew show up that actually knew what they were doing. Since I had already done everything except sit the washer/dryer in place they helped me with that and were very friendly. They were a little taken back that the first delivery crew didn't set up and install everything as they should have. I just hope that the 2nd crew went back and ratted out the 1st for not doing their job the correct way the 1st time. read more

I bought a refrigerator and they delivered it without an icemaker. They said they would give me a table top one. The tabletop icemaker makes about 1 cup of ice at a time and takes up 18 inches on my countertop. I called and they said there was absolutely nothing they would do. they said they were out of stock and that LG doesn't make icemakers anymore. My question why LG would sell refrigerators with no ice maker capabilities. They finally agreed to get me one, I guess they do exist, and that I could get it in November or December. They said they had really good notes in their computer. I called today and they seem to have no notes, and no intentions of making this right. I would never have thought of stainless steel LG refrigerator if I knew I couldn't make ice. The manager and assistant in appliances have been horrific to deal with. This store is horrible! It seems none of the employees know what they are doing. Customer service has no idea how to look up anything and regularly have to call 3 different people to complete any transaction. The appliance department is full of rude ass, lazy know it alls who know nothing! I will not spend my money in this store again. I will drive a little further to the Home Depot. Update- 9/28/17 no follow up call from the assistant store manager (Mitel). He lied straight to my face and told me he would follow up with the distribution center then call me. Water heater ordered on 9/11/17 for in store pickup. First told would be in store on 9/19/17 then told 9/26/17 Update update- After a call to Lowe's Corporate I find out that my water heater is possibly at the distribution center. Later I receive a call from Mitel who made a ton of excuses for not following up with me as he promised then informed me that my water heater was at the distribution center and should be in the store for pickup possibly on 10/4/17.
