For years, I've been getting those 20% off coupons from Bed Bath & Beyond in my mailbox. I rarely had reason to go to Bed Bath & Beyond until recently. I needed a couple new pillowcases (some of my old ones finally wore out after 12 years) and a new tub mat towel (my old one also wore out, same vintage). Pillowcases and tub mats were easy to find at this store. An employee directed us to the pillow case section. I had no idea there were so many different types, styles, and materials of pillowcases to choose from (I've also never thought about it). I didn't really care much for that stuff. I just wanted new pillowcases that felt good enough and looked good enough, matching my existing sheets and comforter. I also didn't realize pillowcases could be so expensive: $40 and up for two pillowcases. We headed straight to the clearance section and found a rather nice set of Barbara Barry 400-count pillowcases made in India. Their original price was $39.99, but they were marked down to $23.99. With my coupon, they came out to $19.19, about half of their original price. We then headed to the towel section to find a tub mat towel. My girlfriend found a couple good ones. I believe these were also from the clearance section. I almost went with a DKNY towel until my girlfriend found a Wamsutta towel that closely resembled my old towel. It was only $7.99 and was called a "Perfect Soft" towel made out of MicroCotton. I learned that Wamsutta is a brand sold exclusively at Bed Bath & Beyond and MicroCotton is a brand as well. Whatever the case, the new tub mat has felt great underneath my feet when I enter and leave the shower. Nice and soft. And after several uses and washes, the pillowcases have worked out great. They feel silky smooth on my cheeks. When you use those 20% off coupons, 20% is taken off the most expensive item at checkout. Read the fine print on the coupon because the discount excludes *a lot* of brands and items. This Bed Bath & Beyond is conveniently located just off Georgia 400 exit 2 (Lenox Rd) in Buckhead. It's in the Buckhead Station shopping center with other big box retailers like T.J. Maxx, DSW, Old Navy, and Ulta. When visiting this shopping center, I recommend parking underground. There's lots of parking underneath. The surface level lot can be a zoo at times. read more

I'm still learning the different neighborhoods of Atlanta so when I plugged in "Bed Bath and Beyond" rather than taking me to the store that was closest to me, I let the GPS take me to this store that is a little further away. I guess it's nice to explore other places because that's how you learn your way around! This BBB is part of a larger strip mall. Among BBB stores, this is probably one of the larger ones although I was shocked that their bedding area was a little sparse today. Lots of clearance going on and maybe that's why they didn't feel like they were as stocked up as usual. Hopefully this isn't your first time to BBB because for those of us "lifers" we know to come into the store with our giant stack of coupons. You can only imagine the type of mark up there must be for all the items in the store. We needed placemats today and only found 5 of the 8 that we were looking for. Luckily they were available online and one of the sales associates helped us out and had it sent directly to our house. Staff are everywhere in the store and eager to help you find something. I have been to BBB many times to get bedding but like I said earlier, they didn't have a great selection today. I find that if you have just moved into a new place just walking through BBB you can get a good idea of different ways to store your stuff. Just beware of accumulating more junk to store your old junk! Have you not used a coupon before? Any coupon you get on your phone has an absolute expiration date. You cannot use it after whatever date is listed on there. But the mailed paper coupons are a different story. Sign up for their catalogue and they will periodically send you a 20% discount off of one item. These you can use even beyond the expiration date listed and if you have a friend who threw them away, you can use those too. Usually once a year they give you a 20% your entire purchase which is great when you a ton of little things and are trying to furnish a new house. VERY rarely you can get the elusive $100 off of your purchase of $500 or more which can be used in addition to your 20%. That's the golden egg that I have only seen once! Parking is a challenge here especially on weekends and in the afternoon. Everyone seems to be at BBB because everyone is moving to Atlanta! read more

In reality, it takes two hours for the site to send you an email that your item will be ready in several business days. By that time, the order is non-cancellable. If you try to get support on the website you are stuck talking to an auto-bot that is unable to provide customized answers. read more

This location is always on point. The store is well staffed with friendly and helpful employees who take customer service seriously. It's clean, organized, and well stocked. In an age where big box retail is diminishing, it's refreshing to see a store that's doing it right. Bravo! read more

I went to this location today during my lunch break to pick up a few odds and ends for my new house; and I have to say the service here left a very bad taste in my mouth. First I find an associate on the floor near the shower curtains and ask where I can find some shower curtain rings, he just points and says "over there". Ok, so I find them; but am disappointed they didn't have the ones I found online in stock. I settle and get some cheap ones until I can order some online. I get up to the registers to check out and only 1 cashier is working; and there are about 10 people in line. So much for my quick in and out during my lunch break. Finally another cashier comes up (guess she was taking a smoke break), she calls several of us over to her register. I go to check out and this woman could not have been more of a bitch! Wow! She was rude as they come. I had a 20% off coupon and she just rolled her eyes when I gave it to her. No smile was on her face and she just acted like she didn't want to be there. On my way I said out loud "What a bunch of assholes!". I hope she heard me. read more

I receive numerous coupons weekly for discounted purchases. They are useless because of inventory shortages. I needed rugs and towels for my bathroom. I found the type I wanted but not the right color in the Caroline avenue store. I visited 3 more Atlanta area stores that also had minimal stock and not the items I needed. What I lilke most about the BBB chains are you can really do a one stop shopping here. This past visit, i bought baking soda, cheesecloth, Welch's Fruit Snacks, dish detergent, and towels. The one sorta drawback was I asked a lady if they had edge control, and she asked me what it was. I replied that it was a pomade that holds and smooths down the edges of your air. She says to me, we don't sell ethnic hair care products. Damn. Now, I know most people wouldn't take that as a racist statement, but I thought, it was stereotypical in the least. I could have been buying the products for someone else. In what world is molding your edges an ethnic thing. Also, they no longer carry Rubbermaid prodcuts at this location, and carries a brand that is BPA free, but made in China. Not all Rubbermaid products are made in the USA, but the item I was looking for and have bought from BBB in the past, were made in the US. My 2nd favorite Bed Bath Beyond. The first one is in Dunwoody. Major tip: Come shop here at like 10am. No one is here at that time/the parking lot is 75% empty. Less traffic as well. GL after lunch, haha. Parking - There's a huge lot but .... so many shops are here. So, the lot can be full. There's also downstairs parking. Space - I'm pretty sure they've got everything. Similar to the Dunwoody's location. I've usually found everything I looked for. People here are super nice! They are always around to help you and ask to see if they can do anything for you. Make sure to bring your coupons. They never expire. I save mine religiously. Why? Prices here are kind of higher... gotta need quality items in my home. read more

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE IS HORRIBLE!! Stopped by here to grab a gift. I headed over to the Registry dept. and gave the sales associate my friends name. He typed it in and couldn't find it. In fact, he tried 3 times and couldn't find it. So I whipped out my handy dandy smart phone, punched in their names and viola! Their registry popped up right away. I showed him the phone and he typed in their registry number. He then snapped at me loud enough for customers standing around us to look up quickly "Oh! This is for a HOUSEWARMING, not bridal!" I stared at him for a good second and then snapped back, "Well, you NEVER asked for anything other then their names!" It's YOUR system, YOUR place of work and yet you expect ME to know how to key things in? Seriously?? I don't think he was expecting me to retort back because he was taken aback, trying to soothe me over with a "oh, no, I didn't mean..." but the damage was already done with this guy. I just shook my head, grabbed the list and went shopping since I knew what I wanted to get. I had coupons (the only great thing about shopping at BBB is that there coupons NEVER, EVER expires!) so I ended up getting 2 things off the registry. I had to find another sales person to help me locate a set of nightlights. ironically, these were not located with the lamps and other light accessories; but were stocked in the bed sheets section... wtf??? I grabbed the items and headed over to the registers. There, I encountered yet another rude employee. After I paid for the items, I handed them over for the complimentary gift wrapping (that's the second reason why I will continue to shop at BB&B). When I asked to make sure that the price tag was removed, he grabbed the smaller item, stuck it in my face to show that the tag had indeed been whited out and then literally threw it back into the box. I was shocked. I mean, I had JUST paid for these things and there he was throwing things around and damaging the packaging. I even asked him nicely to be a bit more gentle with it as it was obviously a gift. He responded with a raised eyebrow and a sullen expression. Really?? Customer service at this location is exceptional! I needed an item off the gift registry. Originally I scheduled to pick it up at the store. While standing there talking to myself, Raven, the girl behind the customer service counter, said, "I can do that for you." She was amazing! Took care of everything I needed and made sure I was able to use my 20% off coupon as well. She was friendly, professional, extremely helpful and truly cares for customers. I LOVE this Bed Bath and Beyond !!! It has the best pharmacy section - so clean, so organized, awe inspiring... No hyperbole Other than that, never a bad experience in here and employees always try to help me save. I'm not sure about the incompetence and long lines as that hasn't happened to me and this is the location I regularly go to. Anyways other BBB's don't compare. The shopping plaza as a whole is one of my favorites (Ulta, Nordstrom rack, TJ Maxx) but this BBB is always a stop. I'm telling you, AWESOME pharmacy section and on my last visit the girl speedily checking me out was like THANKS I'm in charge of that ! One look at her - you can tell she's like type A Competence. I don't think this Bed Bath and Beyond is that bad...it's certainly not as spacious as the Perimeter one but I would never go out of my way there when this one is here. I got a Sodastream for Christmas and after almost a month amazingly, I finally needed to get the full size refill carbonator. Since I had a 20% off coupon (yay for being able to just open this on your phone!) I figured I would see what else I could get. There's a lot of stuff jammed in this little store and if you wander too much you'll end up with more than you intended. In my case thankfully it was a 70% off Christmas hot chocolate set. Phew. The Sodastream syrups themselves are pretty lacking, I was surprised that the Target at Sidney Marcus was a better choice for the one I wanted. If you want the cap type syrups though they have a ton that are about 90 cents per liter - not a great deal but a good way to try things out. The sign at all the Sodastream stuff says to go to customer service for the refill but an employee at a regular register took care of me no problem. You just hand over the exhausted canister and they get you a new one. All in all I've never had a problem here with anyone being rude or not being able to find what I actually needed. In fact if you have a problem like I do in Target where you spend 3x what you intend, you can actually reserve what you want online and pay when you come into the store. read more

Goodness gracious, is there anything that Bed Bath & Beyond does not have? It's been a while since I last ventured into one before this weekend, but the variety of items I saw for sale this weekend still surprised me. My boyfriend and I wandered in there looking for towels and ended up walking out with no towels but a new lightweight blanket for his bed instead. Typical. Anyway, we were both taken aback when we walked into the cavernous Buckhead location and along with the expected bedding and bath accoutrements also saw a new supplements and health food aisle, an expanded kitchen appliance and gadget section, more general lifestyle stuff like throw pillows, table lamps, lap blankets and more "As Seen on TV" items than you could shake a stick at. We ended up spending almost an hour weaving through this giant store just because there was so much in every section to distract you from your intended goal. It was fun and interesting though, and we had a good time laughing at some of the ridiculous items they're stocking like Snuggies and While I have a certain standoffish-ness to Bed Bath & Beyond due to a few too many trips there before my freshman year of college, if you are looking for new bedding or towels or pillows or small home appliances, you'll likely find what you're looking for here. And although they may not initially have the best prices, there's almost always a $5 off coupon in the mailbox or just around the corner to sweeten the deal. read more

I purchased a large Christmas outdoor snowman from Bed bath and beyond. It came missing both the nose and mouth . I wrote to customer service twice requesting the parts or compensation for the missing parts. I NEVER received a reply from customer service. I ended up gluing buttons on for the mouth and made a carrot nose. I feel like I should have gotten some sort of correspondence from customer service whether they could help or not, hence the poor rate. read more

Customer service is tops at the Buckhead location. Wow - talk about impressive! I went in the other day not knowing if this particular store even carried what I needed, and thankfully I didn't have to waste too much time wandering around looking for help. A cheerful, "Hello, how can I help you?" was the greeting I received--from a nice girl perched high above me on a ladder. Although she wasn't sure where to find my requested item, the friendly sales associate stopped folding towels to radio someone else - who then radioed yet another associate - who then walked me back to the section I needed to be in. A chain reaction like that rarely happens so efficiently, in an unobtrusive way, and with everyone's cooperation. Positive attitudes across the board are also sincerely appreciated. Not the biggest BB&B in town, but still decent sized. If you are looking into cookware and want only one pan/pot/dish/whatever you might be out of luck as nearly everything is a part of a set. The staff is nice, the store is clean and everything is average BB&B. The store gets a little busy and the parking is not that great. read more

I went to the store on 1/14/15 to pick up a wedding gift. It took 5 minutes of standing at Customer Service listening to employees complain about their schedules before I was helped. They then printed out the registry and sent me off on my way. I knew What I was going to purchase already so I quickly grabbed the gift and headed back to check out. I was with someone, who also purchased the same thing from the registry. When we put them on the counter we made sure to say that we were paying separately but for some reason the store associate insisted on ringing them up together and then splitting it. When she told me my total, I paid I handed her some cash, expecting about $15 in change. Instead, she said I owed her $8. Apparently since I gave her more than my half of the purchase in cash, she decided I was just putting that toward the whole total, even though I said we wanted to pay separately. She seemed as if it was too much trouble to cancel the order and start again but finally called the manager over to help her start over. At this point she refused to look at me and demanded I hand over the registry again, even though she had taken it and disposed of it. After retrieving the registry and scanning it again, I handed over my cash again. This time she got my change and without looking at me she shoved it in my face. I gave a short "Thanks" and she again refused to look at me or reply. On top of all this, a store associate that could have been helping my friend check out was receiving a back rub at the customer service desk from another associate. Overall, I must say that this is the worst service I have ever received in my entire life. If I must use BBB again I will just order online. read more

Every time I come to the Buckhead store I get great customer service. If I can't find the product I'm looking for, the salesperson will take me to it. The last time the store was out of brass polish so the salesperson/manager offered to order it online from his computer on the spot, and have it shipped to my address, taking 20% off. It arrived in a few days. I didn't get charged for shipping (a small jar of brass polish) either, because I had spent some time looking where he had directed, only to have him tell me later they were sold out.
