This location has gotten much better. I used to work in a fine jeweler located in the same shopping center so I used to come here a lot. It was not great...but on this most recent visit (for a pickup) it seems to have gotten an update and had "the good merch" It was clean and well laid out. Target is not very good about cleaning up their own mess. If you buy a gift card in store, make sure you keep your receipt and question if the clerk puts the correct access code on the gift card. If they don't you are forced to chase the card down a rabbit hole. Calling the main gift card line for Target gift card replacements is something you don't want to deal with. It took over 3 weeks to get my replacement card! Seriously Target??? read more

A friend and I made a Target run after dinner on a Friday night. I couldn't find my mask so it was cool that some were available for guests at the entrance. We were able to locate some of what we were shopping for but not all. Friendly staff but nothing just over the top wonderful about this experience. The restrooms were clean so that's always a plus. I came here to do some shopping while waiting for a mobile phone screen to be replaced at a business next door. This Target store is in The Prado, a shopping center in Sandy Springs that is made up of mostly restaurants. Parking is free and very plentiful by way of a large parking deck. I don't usually shop at this store location because I don't like the layout. I think it's odd that the entrance/exit area is (as you face the store from the parking lot) at the left front corner of the store. Also in this area is the Starbucks store and all of the checkout lines. This store gets busy, and sometimes customers standing in the checkout queues have to move out of the way of customers who have just entered the store. And sometimes people waiting in the Starbucks line make it a challenge for customers exiting the store. Yes ... odd layout. I walked around the store, and was impressed by both the quality and prices of a lot of the clothing, electronics and housewares. Finding a helpful and available employee on the floor proved to be not so easy, though. Employees appeared to be adverse to interacting with customers as they quickly walked through the store while looking down. I wanted to find out if they had my size in stock somewhere for some shirt and shorts styles that I found but couldn't locate my size. It didn't help that the shirts and shorts I was looking at weren't separated by sizes. I gave up trying to get help, and I ended up not buying anything. read more

I had such a delightful experience at this Target. The manager Megan was extremely helpful in making sure we got the products that we wanted and a person by the name of Daniel helped us out at the register when the receipt paper wouldn't print out. They have a Starbucks here so we were able to get a little snack and some coffee. They also had enough staff members at the registers so the lines weren't long and the self check out was made easier by having someone assist people if there were any delays. I love Target, and I also enjoy coming to this location. From the moment you enter the target lot, you see that target sits in front of and on top of a parking lot, with the top lot being exclusive to target customers. Very cool. After all these years, the exterior of this target still looks very nice as well. On the inside, this is a big target, where it feels like you can find whatever you want to here. Very well organized with nothing out of place, it's pretty much why I love target stores so much. I came in today looking for a pair of sweats for exercising and took me just a handful of minutes to not only get the pair, but also find one of several open "you pay" stations that I just walked right up to on a Friday afternoon. That's the other thing about this target...with so many registers and self serve open, the lines are rarely super long like other locations may be. Inside the target is a Starbucks at the exit, which definitely smells good on your way in or out, allowing for one less stop if you're needing a cup of joe. Located off of Roswell road, this target has a few exits but the roswell road exit does have a red light, making your need to get to I-285 a piece of cake, or wherever you're going. It's target, so if you hate it, they probably wont change your mind, but if you're a fan of target, you'll be home and happy here! read more

I was in the area for work and decided to pop in here to grab some souvenirs for some out of town guest that we had at the office. At this Target they have a nice selection of both Georgia Tech, University of Georgia and Atlanta merchandise. Everything from your t-shirts to stainless steel water bottles. Since I didn't know what anyone's shirt sizes were I decided that a travel coffee mug with Atlanta was the best choice... best of all they were affordable at about $15 bucks a pop...thanks Target... read more

Terribly unorganized and not so great customer service. I purchased online for pick up three boxes of Huggies, one box size newborn and two boxes of size one. When I picked up, they had a size NB, size 1 and size 2. I told the team member it was wrong, I needed another size 1 in which he replied "can't you just use the size 2?" No, it's too big, my baby isn't even born yet. So he said to go grab the size 1 box and he'll just consider it an even switch. So here I am, 8.5 months pregnant running to get the right size. The diapers were sooo I organized and mixed up I searched and searched and they did not have size 1. So I go back and tell him and again he tries to convince me to keep the size 2. No, can you just PLEASE refund this box? He finally did after a while, he kept trying to scan the size 2 box to return with the online receipt which wasn't working (because I never ordered size 2, so the receipt wouldn't recognize it). Then he asked me for an emailed barcode. I told him there wasn't one, then I suggested maybe he scan the other size 1 I have instead of the size 2 box he keeps trying to return. He acknowledges and what do you know, it worked! He was nice about it all, just lazy. Plus the store was a mess. This review is about the Starbucks inside of this Target. I came to Target to get some Starbucks. It was definitely a Starbucks day( 32' degrees).The area was clean and the barista was very nice and professional. As I waited for the barista to come over and take my order. I could see her making someone's drink , she acknowledged me and offer me a sample of the snickerdoodle latte she had just made and had sitting out for customers to taste. The snickerdoodle latte was good but I stuck with my go to drink, vanilla chai latte with coconut milk. Camille (barista) was very pleasant when she came over to take my drink order. She even up sold me with a shot of espresso ( something I never get). As she was making my drink she was asking me did I want whipped cream and caramel drizzle ( all the fatty extras)..lol. I definitely had a great experience and she definitely made my drink with love . Thanks Camille!!!! read more

Roswell Rd. Target is a 3-4 years old now, but still feels relatively new. It's located in The Prado shopping center just inside the perimeter. I stopped by this Target while in the Sandy Springs area during my lunch break last week to pick up a Mother's Day card for my mom. While this was my first time at this Target, I was able to easily find the card section because most Targets have good signage and are generally laid out the same -- at least, this store's layout is similar to my neighborhood Target (Atlantic Station). Several other shoppers stopped by the card section to pick up cards for their moms as well. I was in and out in a matter of minutes. The store was big, bright, and clean with nice wide aisles. No wait at the register. The parking lot was at maybe 10-15% capacity. If you're visiting around high noon, wear shades, because their light-colored parking surface is BRIGHT! read more

He opened each one and shook it upside down before scanning it. He also checked the all pockets of the handbag I was purchasing. Weird. You can never go wrong visiting a Target! So organized and clean, there is always someone in a red t-shirt available and willing to assist. I'm a gadget guy and Target has all the gadgets! Nest, Ring, FitBit... it doesn't matter, you can find it all at Target. They are also a good to spot for patio accessories, whether it be lights or cushions. The wine aisle is always lit as well, if you're not familiar with the term lit just know you can find some tasty for the low! read more

Target is decent overall and it has been my go-to store for household items since arriving in Atlanta. I never get groceries because the selection is limited....mostly cleaning supplies and whatnot. In Michigan, we had a store called Meijer that was the best of BOTH worlds.....groceries, household items, etc. But this is about as good as it's gonna get down here and I've come to that realization. read more

It's a Target. They don't provide work uniforms for their staff; a brought-from-home red shirt is the only requirement. So don't just go up to any red-shirted person and ask where to find the anal lube, because some dude might respond that he keeps it beside the bed and lives right across the street and maybe you'd like to come over to drink some Franzia and watch the latest ep of The New Girl on Hulu. Woo Hoo! A brand new Target has opened up at The Prado Shopping Center on Roswell Rd, just south of 285 in Sandy Springs. It is big, it is beautiful, it is laid out very well and for those who just love a bargain, it has a terrific oversized Dollar section at the front of the store! It also has very courteous and service focused team members. So why only 4 stars and not 5? They were not able to succssfully locate the item I wanted to return on my Target Visa (which I have just for the convenience factor of not having to save my Tar-jay receipts!) but they escalated the situation up to the Manager on Duty, sent another team member to go locate the same DVD in the Electronics section to see if they would have any better luck scanning that one, to no avail all the while apologizing to me in a sincere fashion regarding the wait and system issues. When they couldn't help me in they end, they apologized again and clarified what options I would have to return the DVD either to their location with the receipt or back at the original store using my Target card for look up. I have a lot of hit and miss experiences here. And it sucks because I live near it, and instead now sometimes I go drive to Super Target when I'm afraid of getting once again frustrated. Every time I come here they are stocking this store. It's amazing because I can never find what I'm looking for despite that. Let me count the ways... I was curious about the Starbucks K-cups when they first came out, and they only had one kind. It's probably not a fair comparison to use the Super Target in Dunwoody, which had every single one, but they do have a big selection here otherwise. I wanted to get some jeans, and there is an entire wall of them. So you'd think you could find what you're looking for. My size? Only if I had really long or really short legs. Talk about frustrating. I needed a couple 8x10 picture frames, and didn't want to spend too much...lo and behold black bordered ones were the only ones out of stock. The wind a couple weeks ago killed my umbrella. I have checked twice now and they haven't ordered more umbrellas since then. Who knew bothering with the warranty crap would be better than trying to just buy a new one? The few on the hooks here are hideous. I've had some meh customer service but overall if it's someone on the floor they are typically nicer. On the plus side, there's plenty of parking and the spaces aren't tiny like Super Target. The shopping cart corrals aren't placed directly within the lines of a spot so if you park next to one you can have a giant space. There's also the lot on the other side of Staples, or you can park on the Publix level and have covered parking....just do not take the stairs up unless you can hold your breath long enough. The section with the $1 stuff at the front is always full of cool things. I've been working on an ornament wreath and I found the most perfect little ornaments, 16 to a tube for $1, to fill in little spaces on it. They do have a TON of clothing, like if my size had been in stock that jean wall is really the greatest thing ever. I've always found a lot of awesome stuff on clearance. Even 4 days after Halloween there was plenty to choose from. And speaking of K-cups again, I got iced coffee ones for half price when it hit September, clearly still iced coffee season around here. So, it's not awful, but it just disappoints. But I could never be mad at a Target too long. read more

I went in for a few groceries and other random items that I needed there were plenty of employees walking around. When I got to the checkout, only three registers open. I work in service industry so I can be patient. But then when they finally opened a fourth register, they took all of the customers from the back of the line and not the ones who had been waiting 10-15+ minutes already (I looked around and people were very annoyed). Also the fact that I saw probably five employees not doing anything. Which is all fine and I waited and did the thing. I get it. It's holiday season fine. The only reason I am leaving this review at this point was because after all of that. They rang me up. I spent $170 of items and I'm missing at least four items that I purchased and they were never given back to me. So now I have to go back to target (at a later date Bc I now have to go into work and don't have the meal I purchased to bring with me). I get it's the holidays but I'm overworked too and just needed some groceries. read more

Nice and big store. The thing I love about this location is there is a ton of parking and it is mostly easy to get in and out of (depending on traffic on Roswell Road). Even better, they staff keeps the store clean and straightened up. Most Targets, the customers make a mess of products on the shelves, put items away in the wrong places and make a general disaster of the joint. Not this one. It's like they have staff members systematically going up and down ever aisle after the customers putting items back where they belong, or maybe the clientele is made up of OCD customers. Also, the staff I have dealt with is super friendly. They always remember to give me my bag discount and laugh when I challenge them to fit all of my purchases into my ONE bag. As with any Target shopper, I end up buying more than I end up going in there intending to get. Most cashiers rise to the occasion - bravo. I'll remain a regular at this location. I shop my nearest Target location at Sandy Springs Prado (5610 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs, GA 30342) at least twice a week and almost every Sunday when I coupon. Today, Sunday, January 8, I went to Target with a friend who had items to return. While she made her returns, I shopped for party items and make-up. I went to the register with twelve (12) Limited Edition Maybelline New York Great Lash Mascaras ($1.84) and five (5) Slinky Slap Bracelets ($1). I had six (6) $1 manufacturer coupons for any Maybelline New York Mascara, one (1) $2 Target Web Coupon for Maybelline mascara, and one (1) $2 Target Store Coupon for Maybelline mascara. The cashier informed me that it's the store's policy to only accept a limit of four (4) manufacturer coupons for four (4) like items. When I agreed to use only the four (4) manufacturer coupons, despite the fact that "Target accepts one Manufacturer Coupon and one Target Coupon for the same item" according to the Target Coupon Policy, the manager, Jennifer, said I could not purchase the remaining eight (8) Limited Edition Maybelline New York Great Lash Mascaras because I could only buy four like items per shopping trip per day. When my friend agreed to purchase four of the items, Jennifer agreed but said I needed to surrender the rest of the items. At that point I told her that I should be able to spend my cash on as many items in the store as I'd like to. She was rude in saying that she was limiting my purchases because my friend returned hair products and cold medicine. I asked her what my friend's returns had to do with my purchases. The manager Jennifer then refused to apologize for her mistake, she refused to let me make any additional purchases by having my item apprehended by Target security and threatened to call the police. I advised her to call the police because I wanted to make a formal complaint against her for prejudice behavior as this has not been the first time I have been harassed for my coupon purchases by Jennifer. This is the last time I will be shopping that location and I'm giving serious thought to not shopping any other Target. I'm highly disappointed and upset because I love the quality of product that I purchase from Target and hate that I have been discriminated against because of my need to save and shop bargains during this stressing time in our economy. read more

I've been to nicer Targets. Target cashiers average experience, food court attendees however need some customer service training. If you in a pinch for time, don't go there expecting a quick lunch. I was in town to receive training, location near this Target. Thought I'd give it a shot. Food court cashier/cook hard to motivate. Had to wait for him to finish talking with his coworker friends at counter before he noticed me standing at register. I asked for a sandwich and was directed to the cooler. No sandwiches there but took more time before he came back to register. Placed my order thinking he'd get to work on it right away. 10 minutes later when I returned to pick up my order, he just started making it. Food wasn't worth the wait for sure. I wouldn't go back, went everywhere else for lunch after. read more

Compared to some other Target's I've been in, this one is easy to navigate and never very crowded when I go there (usually during my lunch break or thereabouts for a quick errand or two). I always walk out with more than I intend: a random cookie sheet, box of snack bars, scarf, etc, but I was going to have to buy it somewhere, right? The card selection is good, the cosmetics and home wares are well stocked and usually quite neat and tidy, and the staff are friendly for the most part. It's your typical Target overall, with a good selection of most anything you need. Their food's a little overpriced compared to grocery stores, but you're paying for the convenience of skipping a secondary stop at Publix on your way home, so I can understand that. Other than that, everything's pretty reasonable. It's awfully handy for when I just need a few things and I have a minute to spare during the afternoon, though. read more

Over the past two years of venturing down Roswell to The Prado, Target has provided me with everything I needed from a last-minute birthday present to decking the halls during the holiday season. My favorite products which I can't find anywhere else this side of the Perimeter (at such good prices) include: - Sunscreen - Greeting cards (plus a bottle of champagne and a bag of chocolate!) - Lint rollers - always in the $1 section - Sticky boobs: ladies, message me for details - Dog bones: a huge pack for $12.99 lasts my two pups for at least a month! - Bathing suits - Tee shirts - Sunglasses - Large photo frames Get my drift? Service at checkout can be a hit or miss, hence the four stars instead five. If the store team can smooth out its operations to ensure less than a five minute wait at checkout then this will be the best Target ever!!! read more

This is a decent Target. The parking situation is fairly straightforward, and the store is quite large. I knocked off a star, as the line to return items/check out is always grossly understaffed. I have not noticed this issue at other Targets I frequent, and is frustrating at times. The Starbucks in this store always seems underutilized (probably as there is legitimately a freestanding Starbucks store in the same complex), so definitely hit it up if you need some caffeine while shopping. Overall, a good neighborhood Target with great parking. read more

I found a window fan FINALLY!!! $25 before taxes, basic, small, exactly what I needed. I had two associates pass me as I was trekking back to the area I knew that they would possibly be in, still unsure whether or not they carried them at all. One asked me if I needed help and I just acknowledged/thanked her and kept going because she had a handful already. The second one walked me directly to what I was looking for. This store always seems to be well-kept, clean and organized, and not excessively busy like the one over near Perimeter. Parking is a lot easier too. read more

This Target is located in the Prado shopping Center. What is great about it, is it pretty much has its own parking so you are not fighting with all the other stores in the complex. This store is big and well organized. I always find what I am looking for and there are always people in the aisles who can help you find something. I have had an occasion where the lines start to back up but they call in for back up and they get the lines moving. I have used the pharmacy and the pharmacist has always been very helpful. Once when I was filling a prescription without medical coverage he told me how I can get the medicine at a discount or maybe free. They have always been helpful with general and specific questions and getting prescriptions filled quickly. I have been wary about filling a prescription on a chain department store but they make it total easy to do. And they have a rewards program that gets you 5% off after filling 5 prescriptions. This location has a grocery section and a Starbucks in it. You can pretty much get everything done in here and top it off with some Starbucks! read more

Best part of this Target is the pharmacy. The guy back there is really nice, friendly, helpful, and efficient. As for everything else, it's your typical Target. Mostly clean and organized, occasionally out of the one thing I was really looking for, returns are generally fast, checkout is generally difficult (not enough cashiers). I called the 1-800-591-8369 for a lost gift card. I was rerouted after 40 min and a case number 630-59159. I spoke to Zelda who was very kind. She transferred me over to Guest Relations at 1-800-440-0680. Guest relations stated the Nelda did not enter any notes, except she made a case number. After 39 min, I called back and was in the phone with Elvi in the Gift card Department. I asked her to please get me to the supervisor I was speaking to and she refused. I continued to ask her to transfer me to a supervisor and she refused. She continued to try and force the conversation after I told her we were done with the conversation. She was not trained to handle customer service, not was the supervisor that finally came to the phone. That supervisor stated that her name was Kate. They were all in the Philippines. I accidentally shredded my gift cards this morning. I still had my receipts though, as I forgot I had a balance on both of them. The card numbers were on the receipt, and normally they can be reissued, for those that are unlearned and unaware that they can be replaced. This makes me never want to shop at this Target again. This is the same Target that had the shooting in the parking lot about 2 years ago. These Untrained corporate supervisors that talk over you and don't handle the issue at hand make it to where I don't want to go back to this store again or any Target. I have never had an issue with my previous gift cards. The other 20 gift cards that I purchased were given as gifts. I am severely disappointed. I will never purchase gift cards again from this store. Don't buy gift cards here, because they make your balances disappear. read more

The Target at the Prado is convenient (next to Roswell and 285) and is usually well organized in some areas. Parking is easy. The dollar item area (by the entrance) is usually messy, but overall it's decent looking. The problem is the workers. Last night, there was a female worker just walking around with her phone not following is just meandering near us. Another worker just kept staring at something. It was awkward. The last two times I've went the checkout lines were horrendous. There were at least 7 people in one line and a guy at the return section. Another night we were second in line (one open) when another lane opened. The cashier called the person behind us. And continued calling the people behind us before us. The lady we were behind had a lot of item issues. We tried to get to the other line, but people.... So checkout is a nightmare- it's almost Walmart bad except less people. read more

Target at the prado's new return policy is apparently assume everyone is a thief/scammer until proven otherwise. Today I went to return an item that I purchased at an out of state Target. The tags were on it, and I had the receipt. The customer service person obviously did not believe I had purchased this shirt at a Target and proceeded to rudely shoot me dirty looks while calling the "clothing manager" over to verify that it is sold by Target. He held the shirt up to another employee while rolling his eyes, until the clothing manager confirmed it was sold by target. I asked them why the tag would match the receipt if I hadn't purchased it at a Target, and they stated that people will switch tags on clothing to return items that weren't from their store. I angrily grabbed my receipt from the cashier and walked off to shop. I was then approached by a security guard, who asked me if there was a problem. I told them the customer service cashier (who had pointed me out to the security guard) was extremely rude and basically accused me of trying to steal. I admitted I had snatched the receipt from him, but explained that I didn't feel I should be treated so rudely when returning an item with tags AND receipt. I'm not sure what the security guard was trying to accomplish, but she only served to further upset me. I left the store embarrassed, angry, and upset without making any purchases. I have been a loyal customer of this store but I have made my last purchase there. Apparently instead of the customer is always right, at this target the customer is always a thief. read more
