I am always hyper aware that I am being watched fairly closely when I'm in the store but today I overheard one of the sales associates complaining about a black man that was asking for him to unlock the cage for him to buy a product and him saying it's a privilege for them to even be here and when I asked for clarification of what was meant by that comment, I was just meant with a lot of performative confusion, but needless to say, I heard what I heard and will not be back. It's really sad to know that you think so little of the people who are your main patrons and it's actually a privilege to have us as customers.

At any rate we tried to exit through the same entrance we came in, it had been locked even though our car was parked right out front. The manager said they could not re open to let us out the way we came in so we would have to walk around to the front. That would be a HARD NO. I informed management that I was unable to walk long distances, their solution was to send Security. It was 4 of us which included my 5 year old grand baby. Security said they could only transport one of us. The rest if us had to walk through a dark parking garage at night with my 5-year-old grandchild. That is completely unacceptable and unsafe. There should be better protocols in place for customer safety and accessibility after hours. To make matters worse, my daughter recently placed an online order with Macy's and paid for 2-day shipping, only to find out the items won't arrive until Monday, well past the date they were needed. Between the poor in-store experience and unreliable online service, Macy's has truly fallen short. I expected much better from a company of this reputation.

There was no thank-you, and I actually had to help sort my items because bath products and clothing were getting mixed together during bagging. I did try to call ahead and speak with Store Manager Stan before posting this, but the person who answered was reluctant to even share his name--which made it feel like feedback isn't welcomed. I'm still deciding whether to keep my purchases, because the experience really took the joy out of what should have been a fun shopping trip. But more than that, I want to see this store live up to its potential. Customer service matters, and I believe it can improve with attention and care. I'm sharing this not to criticize harshly, but in hopes that someone will listen and act.

It…read morealways smells so fresh in there unlike some thrift stores that smell like things have been boxed for ages. After Christmas, they have a 50% off on all but new carpet. Senior discount is 50% off on Wednesday. The clothes are pretty reasonably priced. The employees are friendly and helpful. All announcements are made in English and in Spanish. Many employees are bilingual as well.
