We first stopped at the smaller Salvage store. It had an assortment of clothing for men, women, and children, and you really need to comb through the racks to find something in your size. I wish they would organize the clothes by size, rather than by brand/style, but my time was well-spent, as I found two nice tops from brands I love (Tangerine and Loft) for $8 and $3, respectively. They also have aisles with various grocery and household items. We found an embroidered yard flag, an auto sun shade, a pair of earrings, and some Pellegrino sparkling water (3 for $1). My sister-in-law also found a cute pair of sandals for under $15. We next went to the Overstock store, located in an old Kmart just down the road. It had a larger selection of clothing, shoes, watches, jewelry, and grocery and household items, and also had sporting goods, furniture, and appliances. My brother and his wife got great deals on golf shoes, but interestingly, I only found one clothing item (a skirt) for myself. Note that the fitting rooms are closed at both stores...bummer. The signs on the door indicated the price expectations for certain days of the week. The bin set up is not like a traditional thrift store, but they did have shopping carts available. I also noticed a sign that said that strollers were not allowed, so I would not recommend coming with your small infant unless you have an infant carrier to let you be hands free. While browsing I saw some new striped Target heels on a shoe rack in different sizes and a bunch of random household items in the various bins. I didn't see much plus size women's clothing or clothing in general. I am sure that the items vary based on the day and time you'd come in. However, I am not sure if I would return any time soon. I left empty handed and was a bit disappointed in the selection.

I was told that it was a subsidiary of Bed, Bath & Beyond but based on my general Google reading, I think they're owned by Dollar General. Too lazy to research it though.
