When I painted the color match that was right off of the previous gallon, it was a darker color. I went ahead and repainted the entire shop with that paint just to save time and headaches. When I went to touch up the paint in spots, it dried out a different color as well. I now have to paint my shop for a third time. Bet you didn't know they did re-upholstery, did you? Neither did I until City Issue referred me to them. Apparently they do some of City Issue's mid century modern furniture re-upholstery. For starters I bought this absolutely gorgeous mid century Dux chair that was covered in this hideous stained fabric that I knew I could get redone to look more period; the price was good so I had to buy it. After I bought the chair I had an email convo with one of the designers to get a quote for my chair and ottoman. I provided her with pictures and dimensions. She gave me the quote, $350 which isn't that much considering the front and back needed to be replaced as well as the ottoman. She also asked me to come in and pick a fabric. They have loads of fabrics to choose from; all styles and all price ranges. They also will let you bring in your own fabric, which is what I did (I bought my fabric at Lewis and Sheron). They quoted me a time of when my chair would be ready. I picked it up when it was done and my jaw dropped. My chair was now pimped out and bad ass. They did a wonderful job and I am so happy that I used Nandina. That chair is now my seating pride and joy. *I will post some pictures when I get around to taking them.

After leaving several messages with the design assistant to schedule follow-up for product selection and layout, my calls were never returned and I never received the promised design plan or follow-up meeting. Today I had a mobile order pick up & I went inside to grab it. There were only 2 workers with one fulfilling online orders & the other one was at the register. She asks if it could be under a different name & I say no, I had already showed her the confirmation/pick up screen & email showing the name. She then says it must have been cancelled & I said it couldn't have bc I just received the email that it was ready for pickup & I hadn't received any cancellation email. She insists it had to be cancelled & I tell her it wasn't & that I'd already been charged. She says to keep checking my email for a cancellation & was about to just go to the next customer when I asked her to check the other bins to see if it had been misplaced. She says it hasn't so I get closer to see the pick up bins & I can clearly see my order. I say "is that not it?" & she said "well I asked you if it was under a different name" like what? She goes & checks & says "oh I guess it is. It was placed in the wrong bin on accident". It was RIGHT next to where she had just checked & I told her what the items were. She choose to ignore them instead of just checking.
