I have never been treated with such disrespect while shopping. This was one of the most disappointing retail experiences I have ever had, and because of it, I will never shop at the Lowe's in Austell, Georgia again. I first went to the Lowe's in Douglasville because I found clearance pavers. Before doing anything, I spoke with Ms. Donna and showed her the price. She checked the system, confirmed they had 56 pavers in stock, and instructed me to go to the back to verify they were there. When we arrived in the back, a gentleman told us he was going to get a pallet jack. We waited for more than 30 minutes in the heat, and not a single employee came back to check on us or offer any assistance. We eventually went back inside and met the only employee who truly demonstrated outstanding customer service--Jabari. We explained everything that had happened, and in less than 10 minutes he located the pallet. Jabari worked alongside my husband to load all of the pavers. After waiting so long and standing in the sun, I made sure to thank him because he genuinely cared and took ownership of helping us. After everything was loaded, I continued toward the front of the store. When Carlson noticed I was struggling to push the heavy load, he immediately stepped in to help. I explained that Ms. Donna had sent me to get the pavers and asked if he could bring them to the front so I could arrange delivery. He did exactly that without hesitation. Carlson was courteous, professional, and willing to help. Once we reached the front, the experience completely changed. Ms. Donna first called a manager on the phone and told the manager that she believed we had already spoken with him. I immediately corrected her and said, "I never told you that I spoke to a manager." From that moment on, I was confused because she seemed to be making assumptions instead of listening to what I was actually saying. After the phone call, Ms. Donna informed me that the pavers were $19.99 each and that the Douglasville clearance price could not be honored at the Austell location. She then called over another associate, and eventually the store manager, Jared, became involved. Jared explained that Douglasville clearance prices only apply at the Douglasville store and that the best he could offer was a discount. I understand that stores can have different pricing policies. What I don't understand is why I was instructed to go through the entire process of locating, loading, and transporting the pavers after I had already shown the clearance price before we even started. Had I been told from the beginning that the price would not be honored, we could have avoided over 30 minutes of waiting, loading heavy pavers, and unnecessary frustration. The most upsetting part happened when I also brought two plants from the clearance rack. Ms. Donna questioned whether they were actually on clearance and stated that if they were, they would have been marked differently. I immediately showed her the clearance stickers that were already on the plants. At that moment, I felt as though my honesty was being questioned and that she was implying I had somehow placed the clearance stickers on the plants myself. I would never do something like that, and I found the accusation extremely insulting. What disappointed me even more was that Jared, the store manager, stood there while this interaction took place. Instead of stepping in to de-escalate the situation, ensure I was treated respectfully, or acknowledge my concerns after everything my husband and I had already gone through, he allowed the conversation to continue the way it did. As the manager, I expected leadership, professionalism, and a commitment to making the situation right. I did not experience that. After everything we had already gone through, my husband had to continue the conversation because I was so upset. I simply told them to leave the flowers because I no longer wanted to purchase them. I want to sincerely recognize Jabari and Carlson for providing exceptional customer service. They treated us with kindness, respect, professionalism, and a willingness to help. They are the reason this experience wasn't even worse. Unfortunately, my interactions with Ms. Donna and the lack of leadership shown during the situation left me feeling disrespected, unheard, and unfairly judged. Customer service isn't just about policies--it's about how people are treated. Every customer deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. I hope Lowe's uses this experience as an opportunity to coach its employees on communication, professionalism, and customer care. This is my second time in this store and no one ever seems available to assist. Though the store is packed with a mirage of items there is no one willing to help you find a thing so come prepared to NOT have questions at all. read more

Last week I purchased a toilet and also paid for installation (they contract with Angi). The toilet was not the right length from the wall so the installer was unable to install. As soon as he left, we returned the toilet. They did not have the size we needed, so we asked for a refund. It took a while, but they issued me a receipt stating that it was going back to my American Express. However, the receipt was only for the toilet and not for the installation. When I inquired refund about the installation refund, I was told (by Federika) that it is automatically refunded. When the refund did not appear on my card, I called the store over and over again all afternoon. After AI said it would connect me with someone, the phone only ring and ring. I tried 20 times and each time it rang at least 20 times. Never an answer. I called Lowes Marietta and someone answered right away. They said everyone complains that they do not answer the phone there. They tried to help me by giving them the name/number of the district manager. His voicemail message box had not been set up, so I could not even leave a message. I called Marietta again and they gave me a different number to someone named Tally. I left messages a few times with no call back. The next morning I tried calling again and had the same results. No one answered at the store. I had to finally drive there. They went and got somebody named Jacob who told me he was one of the managers. He looked at my receipt and said it's already been credited to your account, contact them. Then told me that they never refund for installation. I said it was an installation that never happened because it was the wrong toilet. Told him of my experience of no one answering the phone and he just stared at me rudely. I also watched him refuse to replace another customers dead plant. Not a huge plant, a small plant. He was also was rude to her telling her she never bought it there, even though she was trying to explain that it was on her Lowe's card. She was also a senior citizen like me. On my way home, I contacted Lowe's corporate office, who initially told me that they do not refund installations. I said, "but the installation never occurred and the plumber they sent said they would refund". I added that if they do not refund installations that do not occur, why is it such a secret? She was very kind and helpful. Ultimately she checked into my refund for the toilet and connected me with Angi for refund of the non-installment. All of this took me almost 24 hours to resolve, including a trip back to the store. There are a lot of similar stories on here about this store. You are warned. They obviously know about the problems at this store, but do not address them. read more

After an absolute terrible experience with Home Depot (Austell, Ga) see my review there to buy a refrigerator. I went to Lowes to give them a chance. So, the appliance staff was attentive, I gave the associate our measurements and what we were looking for in a fridge and he showed me 3 options. We went with the Whirlpool model and delivery and service was as promised. The delivery team installed the ice maker, flip the doors, and had it cleaned up and ready for install in less than an hour. Thank you. Only downside to say for Lowes, is they would not give military discount. Said the new policy is no military discount on appliances and lumber. Well, so far, so good Lowes, I will continue to go to this location. Home Depot has lost me after 3 decades of shopping there. read more

I found an employee in the garden section but was told she was unable to help me as she sat in the booth on FaceTime having a conversation. Went back inside and Finally tracked down an employee that appeared to be in management playing with the inflatables. He told me he would send someone out. I rarely visit this store because even though its much closer to my home, when I became a new homeowner, I had so many negative experiences with them, I started going to the Dallas Hwy location. Last week, I need a plumbing item and Dallas Hwy was out of stock. I did a curbside pick-up because I did not want to drive to store, discover the inventory was incorrect or struggle to find item. When I arrived, I checked in and waiting about 15 minutes and no one came out. There was a disabled gentleman parked next to me with his hatch up. I went inside and their were three African American ladies (didn't get their names) behind the desk and one guy. After one of the ladies finished with a guest, she asked if she could help me - I told her my issue. She said the curbside person was at lunch. I asked if I could just get it it at the desk. She said she didn't know where it was. The other two ladies who were just standing behind her talking finally asked her what was going on. The original associate explained, then called the next guest forward. Associate #2 gets on the intercom and pages a manager - for curbside pick-up. She was speaking at such a low volume, she could barely be heard. Then she goes back to her conversation with associate #3. Associate #1 wraps up with her guest and the three of the move away from the registers and start chatting and cackling and having a great time. Phones are ringing excessively while this is happening and none of them make a move to answer the phone. The male associate grabs a door and is getting ready to head from behind the counter, so I stop him and ask him for help. I ask him if I can go try to find the item myself and if so - can they process the order as picked up or will I need to get a refund and purchase it outright. He says hang on. He looks up my order, then goes to look in the bins. Can't find. He looks some more. Can't find it. After about 10 minutes, he goes to the floor and grabs it and comes racing back up with it. Associate #1 has gone on break. Associate #2 has clocked out and left, so Associate #3 is finally able to focus on her job. She sees the item and goes, "OH. That was up here earlier but it didn't have a name on it, so I sent it back to the floor. Sorry about that ma'am. It didn't have a name on it." The male associate's name was Mike Brown. He was the ONLY person that seemed willing or able to assist customers that day. Because it took so long, the plumber / handyman was already at my home waiting and complaining when I arrived back at the house. AND - the disabled gentleman who was parked next to me was STILL in his curbside spot waiting for assistance. I did walk over to him and explain that the curbside associate was at lunch and that he was probably gonna need to go inside. He said that he was in too much pain to walk inside and he wasn't able to get his motorized wheelchair out his vehicle today because his pain was too excessive. This really should be a 1 star review. The first associate should have, at the very least, tried to find my item in the bins at the onset. The three female associates prioritized laughing and talking amongst themselves over answering the phones. When the primary curbside person takes lunch, there should be a backup person to take on these duties instead of having people check in on the app or call and wait indefinitely because they don't know the associate is on break. Five stars are for Mr. Brown. Zero stars for the rest. Averaging out to 3 stars. I understand that it's hard to find good hires, but this Lowe's has been like this since well before the pandemic. My husband bought a fridge from this location december 26th. They wew supposed to haul our old fridge off anf install the new one december 28th between 11-4 They showed up the first time adnwere extremely rude unprofessional and harrassed. they would not listen when offering options, and solutions, they touched property they were not given permission to, and then left our new fridge in our garage without permission and high tailed it out of there. One of the worst experiences I have ever had shopping. My mother bought a fridge in store a couple days ago and realized when receiving the order/delivery confirmation email that THEY ordered us the wrong fridge. So we called and was directed back to the store with a name in hand of who to talk to. We arrived, the gentleman was not there, so we talked to the gentleman in the appliance area. He was nice and helpful, didn't get his name as our talk was brief, but he said he would be able to refund it, just wouldn't be able to provide a receipt that we were to get money back nor verification to which card we were getting the money back on. He directed us to customer service. I believe Yolanda was the one working at the customer service register (We didn't write down her name) . When we approached the register, she ignored us to finish whatever task she was doing (I believe labeling things for return) which was fine, but there was no acknowledgement. When she did, we showed our receipt and asked for an exchange. She explained we couldn't exchange the fridge, rather we had to refund the money, then buy the fridge again. At this point we asked for a manager. She called one name out on the intercom, we waited for 5 minutes. She called 2 more names out, we waited for another 5 minutes, at that point she wandered off to find, presuming her manager, without a word to us. While this was happening, several other customer had walked up to the register behind us. Not once did she acknowledge these customers or explain that it there was going to be a wait. She walked back with a manager named Shaquetta. Who introduced with just a "Hello". We asked her for her name as she didn't have a name tag visible, she didn't seem to like that. And continued spouting we weren't able to exchange, we were only able to get a refund. At this point we relented and said we would be okay with a refund, the manager walked away to let Yolanda refund our order. She also did not acknowledge the people waiting or offer to help. She proceeded to walk over to another store member visible to us and have a conversation. That's when we were told it was refunded, but she wasn't able to print out any kind of receipt that we were getting our money back. She emailed a copy but it was very vague and didn't exactly show where it said we were to get our money back. She said we could take a picture of the screen instead. That just seems ridiculous that we were going to rely on a picture on our phones for a $1500+ order. At this point, we asked for handheld proof that we were getting our money back. Yolanda called for a manager again, no one showed up once more to the calls. So I went ahead to track the manager down. I found Shaquetta and told her we needed a managers help. She told me she'd "Call the manager on duty" as she just clocked out. Kierra was the manager who ended up helping us in the end, she also told us to take a picture of the screen and told us they would be able to send the same email, but nothing showing we were to get our money back. Kierra was helpful and very kind, but was unable to provide anything handheld saying we were to get our money back, so we had to settle on a picture of them canceling on their end, and a vague email. It's not only the fact that we weren't able to come to an agreement on a problem THEY caused in the first place by placing an order for the incorrect fridge, its the lack of interest from Yolanda and Shaquetta to help us that will decide we never shop here again. The MANAGER Shaquetta left us with an unequipped customer service rep and didn't seem at all interested in helping us reach a conclusion. Yolanda was inattentive to us in the beginning, and wouldn't even talk to the customers behind us who were waiting on us to be finished there, not even telling them "Sorry, it'll be a couple minutes" or anything. Kierra was indeed kind and nice, but ultimately, we were EXTREMELY unhappy with our purchase/experience. We will NEVER shop here again and if I can suggest to anyone planning to shop here. It's a Lowe's, so there isn't a lot I can tell you in this review about the brand that you don't already know...so I will tell you about my experiences here! This particular Lowe's is on East West Connector at the Austell Road intersection and shares the large shopping center with Target, Five Guys, Chili's, Party City and several other shops. Given the shopping center size, you can imagine that parking is not an issue here! This location is solid in all senses of "Home Improvement" stores. They are always full stocked on everything I have ever needed, they keep everything quite clean and for the most part, are great when it comes to service. Weirdly enough, I always get excellent service in majority of the store, be it in the aisle, garden center, front lanes, etc...unless I am at the Paint Desk. Something about mixing up paint that makes the folks working this desk a little less friendly. Who would have guessed?! Overall, it's Lowe's over the others for me. Got here at 5pm, needed to get some keys made. The young lady Bridgette was very helpful and paged for assistance 3 times. No one assisted, I spoke with 4 other employees walking around, all who claimed they could not make keys. I requested a manager who never showed up. Every time I come to this Lowes it's near impossible to get assistance. I shouldn't have to wait 40 minutes to get some keys made. They have a Kiosk with a limited amount of custom keys and a military amount is assistance. I will be going elsewhere ALL THE TIME for my home improvement needs. read more

Well, I can tell you one thing. My foot did not get all the way across the threshold of the automatic door before someone in a red vest happily greeted me and welcomed me to Lowe's. Love it. As soon as I walked down the supply aisle, another red vest promptly asked me if I needed assistance. Well...yes...as a matter of fact, I DO! I was able to take a sigh of relief as the helpful young man, John, walked to the exact spot, pulled off the shelf, himself the product, and placed it in my hands. Love it, again. The only slight issue I have that is not 5 star worthy just yet, is Lowe's not having enough employees to go around. Sure, the associates they do have are helpful and wonderful, but it would benefit the customer if you did not have so few red vests trying their hardest to assist everyone at the same time, but I appreciate the effort. On 11/10/22, I went in to purchase a shower door. Instead, I was convinced to purchase a professional measurement and installation to make sure I have the perfect door for my shower. The measurement cost $35.00. I was told a typical installation would cost $226. The tech came very late and did the measurement. The next day the tech sent the measurement report, and it was missing the measurements. I had to wait a couple of days for Lowe's to get the measurements from the tech. I came back into the store and was shown the shower doors according to my measurements. I purchased the door and had to wait for a call to schedule an installation date after the door arrives at Lowe's store. The installation for this door would be $385. I got a call from Lowe's saying the tech refused to install that door because of the fiberglass on my shower and I had to pick another door. I came back into Lowe's and picked another door based on the tech's recommendation of getting a semi-frameless door. The door cost more and the installation was $509. The installation was scheduled for 1/5/23, which was two weeks after Lowe's received the door. When the tech came to install the door, I pointed out before he installed the shower door that the frame piece he installed was too tall for the shower and asked him to verify the door size. The tech couldn't verify because he didn't have any paperwork for the job and couldn't verify if he picked up the correct door. I looked at the information I was given, and it had the door and it was the correct door but the wrong measurements. The tech said the height of the door could be adjusted and installed the door. After the installation, the door was still too tall. The tech said there was nothing he could do about it and I should buy a tile backsplash to put around the fiberglass of the shower so the door wouldn't look too tall. I disagreed and wanted the correct size door. The tech said I had to call and take it up with Lowe's. I went into the store and spoke to Emmanuel Addy, the Specialty Assistant Store Manager. I was told he oversees the installation department. I explained my situation and his only remedy was to order the correct size door and have the installation company remove the incorrect door and install the correct door. The correct door was received at Lowe's on 1/31/23. The installation company won't come back out until 2/21/23 for the installation. The tech chipped off the paint on my walls and chipped the fiberglass of my shower. He left drill holes in my fiberglass exposed. I called Lowe's about the damage and Tiffany Perry, the project support professional, email me the following: "We are reaching out to advise, we have partnered with leadership in effort to assist with the issues you are experiencing with your shower and walls damages.Unfortunately, our providers do not perform painting or wall patching, this is not part of the scope of work for Lowe's. There isn't anything that can be done about the visible holes in the shower walls, there is no repair work that can be done on those.Leadership would like to offer compensation to you for the damages in the amount of $150.00. If you would like to accept this, we will send a release form for you to sign and date. This would available at the store for your to pick-up. This is not acceptable. This was a very unprofessional job. Now instead of me improving my bathroom, it looks disgusting and I don't want to look at it and definitely not use it. I spent almost $1,000 dollars to not be able to use my shower for 3 months and have an experience with the most unprofessional company ever. The Lowes at East West Connector should close their Garden shop if they aren't going to water the stock. Last Spring I was looking for a common bedding plant that they carried in the past. There were few choices, and they what they did have looked sickly. Went to Home Depot and chose from 2 healthy sizes. Now in Sep. it's even worse, today half of the plants were almost dead due to lack of water. Plenty of workers standing around, but no one attending the plants. That's a lot of money in the trash. I wonder if the rest of the store is as neglected. I'll avoid this location in future since it's impossible to know if even a plant that looks okay today has been stressed by lack of water and may soon die as a result. This is never the issue at the Lowe's on Dallas Hwy, so it's not a company wide problem-it's this store. It's been downhill for years at this location. If I were a Lowe's stockholder I'd be very angry that they're throwing the profit away for lack of care. read more

There's always someone around and they almost always have what I need. We were here on Black Friday, but late in the afternoon after the morning chaos was over. I've been to this Lowe's a few times. It's not my favorite, but it has a good inventory. The people here have always been friendly.

Summary: I purchased three appliances (a fridge, electric range and dishwasher) from Lowe's on 11/23/2018. By 12/18/2018, after approximately 15 calls and three failed deliveries, I only got my electric range and a fridge with major dents and scratches on the front door (see attached pictures). Timelines: 11/23/2018: I purchased a Samsung refrigerator (186006 RF260BEARSR), a Samsung electric range(845535 NE59M4320SS), and a dishwasher (845535 NE59M4320SS) with a total price of $2183.56 at Lowe's in Austell, GA. I was told that the dishwasher I chose was out of stock and they need to contact the factory to order one, which will arrive on 12/10/2018. The refrigerator and electric range will arrive on 12/1/2018, but the dishwasher will not be delivered till 12/10/2018. I was ok with the timeline. 11/30/2018 evening: I did not get any confirmation about the delivery for the next morning (12/1/2018), as I was told that I should get a call one day ahead. I called Lowe's delivery and was told that I did not have any delivery next day (12/1/2018) and all appliances will be delivered on 12/10/2018. Shocked by this miscommunication, I told that it was a mistake. They checked and promised to deliver the refrigerator and range next day (12/2/2018). 12/2/2018: two guys showed up and delivered the refrigerator and the range. The refrigerator has about 9 dents on the side and a major scratch on the front door (see attached pictures) right out of the truck. I told them I did not order scratch and dent appliances and did not accept the delivery. 12/3/2018: The manager called and apologized for the scratch on the front door. He said that he saw some dents on the side but did not see the scratch on the front BEFORE the delivery. So, the manager actually saw several dents on both sides of the fridge and still decided to have it delivered anyway (just in case some customers would accept dented appliances!). They said the closest store that has that model I ordered was in Covington, GA and will call me back for availability soon. 12/4/2018: I called them back to check on the updates on my fridge. They told me that they would have it delivered on 12/9/2018. As always, he said, I will get a message and call the day before for the confirmation of the delivery. I had to cancel a Christmas party on 12/9/2018, to meet the delivery guy, who is supposed to arrive between 10AM to 2PM on 12/9/2018. 12/5/2018: I got a call from the manager at Lowe's, saying that the dishwasher I ordered will not arrive till 1/20/2019! I could either wait it till 1/20/2019 or choose another model from the three options he provided and are available in the store. I chose one GE model, and later got called back saying that the earliest delivery for the GE model will be 12/10/2018. 12/8/2018: I got a text message from Lowe's confirming the delivery of my fridge next day (from 10AM to 2PM on 12/9/2018). Yeah! 12/9/2018: I got a phone call around 9AM the day for delivery, telling me that the model of the fridge I ordered is not available for delivery. The delivery will have to be cancelled. They will have to call Samsung on Monday (12/10/2018) to when the order will be mad. WHAT? The lady said on the phone: "we will give you discounts for your inconvenience!", as if it is a trick they have used many many times! 12/16/2019: They delivered a brand new refrigerator and I checked once it was out of the truck to be sure. Sure enough, the delivery guy dented the fridge when they moved it through the front door. And they moved my old fridge in the basement already! They told me that I should keep the new fridge and call Lowe's to have a new door for the fridge replaced. They could do it next Monday (which is another lie!). Since this is the third attempt for delivery. I sighed and signed the delivery note. The delivery guy said to his co-worker: "hurry, we really need to get it moving...", so that they could get more angry customers? When calling Lowe's to confirm that they would install a new door for me, I could not even get anyone from the appliance department to answer the phone call and it was Saturday around 2PM. 12/16/2019: I called Lowe's again that evening (12/16/2019) and was told that they did not have the parts for that dented door. They would have to order one, which will arrive in Jan 2019! Thank you all for your patience to read till here about my odyssey on purchasing these appliances from Lowe's. I have always been a Home Depot guy, but heard from a contractor friend saying that he likes Lowe's. So, I decided to give it a try. Besides, we all know that Lowe's is closing several stores across North America and I secretly wanted to help a little so that we always have choices in the future. If at all possible stay away from the Austell store. I rated this store a 1 but if I could rate them zero, I would. We've been paying for cabinets for more than 7 months now but still have not gotten the complete order. A 30K mistake. The subcontractors have installed what did arrive but my kitchen is a mess. All of the cabinets have not arrived. The lowes excuse is "covid." They installed a used sink. No food disposal. Dishwasher not connected. Live wiring exposed (I turned off the breaker to prevent being electrocuted)! A piece of plywood serving as countertop. Calling the store is no use. No help at all. My next action will be through an attorney. I typically do not leave comments / ratings but in this case I hope to prevent anyone else from having to live the nightmare that I'm currently going through!!! You've been warned. Let me start saying that this is the very first BAD review I have ever written and I wish I could pic 0 stars. I am so upset with Lowes customer service and delivery department. We bought a dryer on Sunday August 12....till this day August 20th they have still not been successful at delivering it to our house. They scheduled the first delivery for August 16th and no one showed up, then called to rescheduled after one of us already took time off work to be at the house to receive the dryer. Then they rescheduled for Sunday August 19 (1 whole week after buying after they advertise next day delivery) the truck shows up with 2 washers and no dryer. they had to leave as that was clearly NOT our order. I called the store countless times as well as their main number and got it rescheduled by their manager Deidra for tomorrow August 21st after 5:30pm. And we just received a text message confirmation that they will come at 11:30am...... I MEAN FOR REAL! IS THIS A JOKE, I will never recommend buying appliances from them to anyone, as they clearly don't know what they are doing. The worst customer service I've ever had! If I could give negative stars, I would! Order was placed for two large items (@$200 each). Was told order would be delivered on a particular day, which it wasn't. FedEx said we were "closed." We have a Ring doorbell and live in a gated community. So, FedEx messed up. Then, we get the package delivered, it was a cord, not two generators! A cord and it had a packing list that gave the name and address of the person who ordered the cord in Wisconsin. I called Lowe's Customer Service, and I'm not exagerrating, I was on the phone for a total of 2.5 hours and it still wasn't taken care of. I reordered the items and had them shipped to the store. Oh well, they said they only had one. They couldn't find the order! One more change, tonight we'll go back to Lowe's and try to get our order. This will be the 5th attempt. Wish me luck! read more

FUCK LOWES, and the horse they rode in on. Bought a new fridge and dishwasher. When the fridge arrived at my house it didn't work, and i lost food. Digital readout on the door said the fridge was 33 degrees. In reality it was 60 degrees. When the disherwasher arrived, it was the wrong color. We ordered black, and then it was Silver. Came here to get matietals to make weave poles for my dog. I don't expect much from Lowes , but I also don't expect to do the work of your employees... Finding materials -- simple and easy; plumbing for pex poles, and lumber for rebar pieces. Walking around the store was a bit awkward w an arm load of 5 foot poles, and 2 foot rebar sections, but it's no big deal (I could have gotten a cart if it bothered me). Service -- went to check out. Chasity was my cashier. I put the rebar down, and told her the size, and price that was marked on the shelf. Chasity then said, "Yeah you are going to need to get the barcode because I don't know what that is." I (again), explained that it was rebar, the size, and the price. I asked her politely to look it up in her system (to which she took out her phone, and appeared to be "looking it up"). Rather than get upset or frustrated, I explained that I needed a pad lock, and would run and grab it off the shelf, and asked where I could find them. Unamused, and seemingly bothered, Chasity said "Should be in tool world..." (they weren't, but I'm not surprised). Instead of going back to her, I went to the cashier next to her. Kacy was resourceful enough to look up both the pex, and the rebar (he asked for a managers assistance to make sure it was right). This took a bit longer, but it was right, and it didn't involve me doing Kacy (or Chasity's) job. Home Depot is just across the street. Not only is it closer to me, but I've never been asked to do one of their employees jobs during my supply runs... think I'll go there from now on. 0/5 will return because of poor attitude of Chasity, lack of effort, and inconsiderate nature. -Nicolas read more

Curbside pickup here is a joke. This is the second day in a row I've tried to pick up stuff. Leaving after 30 min both times. No one answers the phone. Both times I was the only one in curbside pickup. If you aren't going to staff it, turn it off on your website. Don't offer a service you don't actually have. read more

I think that I live in this store. I actually like Lowes more than I like Home Depot. Everything is organized and I can always find what I need here. I went to get paint to paint my bedroom. I was standing at the paint card samples station and the employee working in the paint center suggested that I take the samples outside in the sun to get a better idea of what the colors would look like. That made all the difference. That was such a great tip. I then got 4 samples of paint which they are happy to do for you. I came back the next day after seeing with color I liked the best. I got the paint I needed they were fast and very helpful. I even got a color that I saw the name for on the Internet. They happily mixed it for me. Everytime I walked in I was greeted with a smile. If I have a question, I haven't had a problem with finding someone to answer it. I can't wait to do some more spring projects. read more

I usually go to Home Depot for all my home needs, but they didn't have the mini Sheppard Rods for by solar yard lights so I went to Lowe's Austell and found the there. The black check out girl on the garden register 5/18/22 had a crap attitude and really poor manners but it's no surprise with todays social victim mentality. With Home Depot right next door, there's competition in the deep woods of Austell. Which hardware store is the best in this area? Despite Home Depot being an Atlanta company, I like Lowe's. The selection and prices look about the same. Lowe's has a ton of stuff related to home improvement. You can even order online and pick it up from the store. I find that convenient. Also, the employees at Lowe's seem very helpful and courteous. They always seem eager to help you and they have gone out of their way to help me look for stuff or do things for me. I do like the customer service aspect of Lowe's. read more

Racist against white people. Drove 10 miles to this lowes because my local lowes was out of stock on an item. While speaking with an employee they made several off-color, kind of racist remarks. "are you from out of town?" "you look like you're not from here" and "you don't look like you belong" and then they told me about another lowes 10 miles away like I'm not supposed to shop here. I noticed all of the employees were black. He said it like they had claimed that territory and me and family weren't supposed to be there. Don't bother trying to get something delivered. They use JB Hunt and they are the most unprofessional people I have ever talked to. I have been trying to get my washer delivered for a week now. Finally after 2 failed delivery attempts I drove up to Lowe's last night and got a refund for my washer and drove across the street to Home Depot and purchased the same washer and have it scheduled to be delivered. I usually use Lowe's for all of my home improvement needs, but if I need anything delivered I will NOT use them again. read more

This company has given me the most horrendous customer service and lack of business professionalism I have ever experienced. When buying a brand new full set of kitchen appliances, the associate put the wrong name and phone number on the order. I caught this mistake as I was checking out and was told that they fixed it. Several phone calls, numerous visits to the store, and one month and a half later, I have still not gotten my appliances that are already paid for and can't seem to get in touch with any associate/manager who will help. I can't even get so much as a phone call returned. I will never be buying anything from any Lowe's again. read more

I made a Yelp account just to leave this review. After purchasing a washing machine, and installing it ourselves with absolutely no problems, we noticed the washing machine was shaking so violently we were worried it was going to break. After completing the set up over again twice to ensure all steps were followed and everything was in order, the problem persisted. We tried to call to have someone come out, was put on hold for 30 minutes before being hung up on. After repeated attempts of this, we went in to the store and the employee who "helped" us couldn't figure out how to schedule a repair. Finally the following day someone called to say they'd come out the next day. They gave us a time range of 3:30-7:30 and it is now 8pm. No call, no show. We tried calling - same experience as before. Put on hold 3 different times and left on hold until disconnected. Horrible horrible experience all around, made worse by incompetent employees who clearly don't care to even try and help people. I am not an unkind person and am very understanding when it comes to all aspects of customer service, but this was appalling. Will be returning the washing machine and going elsewhere for all future needs. read more

I ordered a refrigerator from this store in Austell, GA on 5/7 and I still have not received it. I have spoken to 2 assistant managers and filed a complaint with the BBB and I still don't have it after 3 months. I have been charged on my Lowe's card so I'm paying for a frig. I don't have. Even the corporate office has been no help. No one ever answers the phone when you call the store. It just rings until you get cut off. Customer service is terrible! I have always bought my appliances from Lowes, but never again. read more
