    Degraded pine that was on the ground in my yard

    Just bought pine straw. It looked awful. They use the rolls instead bails. It's supposed to be the same as 2 Bails. Well not even close. The employee rolled them down the steps from the trailer while pine straw spilled out the sides. It did not look much different than the degraded pine straw that I just cleaned up from my back yard. Again I was desperate to cover an area that will not grow grass . I guess I need to make calls to other vendors for some good Pine straw.

    Well It had to be too good to be true…read more Good prices, delivery and installation .But as of today I have been waiting for a microwave light cover. I have called and texted and still waiting. . I think if I hadn't seen him break it he would have not agreed to replace it. I was walking away as he was installing the microwave and I heard a glass break. Wasn't sure. He looked up and paused knowing I heard it and said "I will replace it." He is always in a rush to get to the next customer. I called him 2 weeks after he installed my dishwasher because after he left I opened it and the it came forward like it was falling out The screw fell in machine. I called and he came and screwed it in better. Then it had an error code - it's not draining. He said call GE they will come out. I shouldn't have to call GE so early . This is an installation issue. But I I did and they said it may be installation issue. Well it was installation. He came back out and had to open garbage disposal flap. He tried to blame it on installation of garbage disposal. Which was installed 7 years ago. Then the delivery of French door refrigerator due to his doing everything alone , my floors are scratched in several places. He is always rushing. I continually asked that my delivery/install not be rushed. All my appliances were bought with weeks of each other. The gas stove Is also new. But the eyes don't seem to light to full capacity as well as the oven on 400. I called GE troubleshooting because it's new. They thought check the installation - gas line may not be opened all the way . I said I am not checking but will contact installer. I called him many many weeks ago and told him what was happening - his first response on all installations is call GE to come out - when all issues stem from him rushing the installation. Stop advertising you will do it all and just sell if you are not going to take your time and do a serious complete installation. The rushing so very much could result in something serious. I guess I will just have to work with oven and stove burners. I am still waiting for the microwave broken glass light cover. Or a response. These weee installed in late April and early May.

The store itself felt very cramped, and the inventory was limited, which made it hard to seriously compare options. Pricing also wasn't very appealing -- everything felt inflated, which I'm guessing may be influenced by the surrounding area. What stood out the most was the lack of engagement. There were plenty of staff gathered in the back having a loud conversation, but during the roughly 10 minutes we walked around, no one acknowledged us or asked if we needed help. Because of the tight space, limited selection, and pricing, we ended up leaving without purchasing anything. Not a terrible experience, but not one that encouraged us to stay or return.

Thanks home depot. So next my dishwasher died (I've lived in the unit for 25 years), this time I call Lowe's. Smart me, right? NO. They come by with the dishwasher and tell me they can't install it because the connection (water line to the unit) was too far from the install area (it's maybe 2 feet away). OK thanks Lowe's. That's when I found Smith Appliance. I told them the problem they told me "no problem". A Curteous professional sales person helped me select an appliance (made in u.s.a) in my price range, they have an on-site install guy gave me a price on the spot (happened to be there) and they came and installed it. That was almost a year ago, the thing runs perfectly, very quiet , dishes clean.....my only regret is that I should have dug in discovered this business 30 years ago. As soon as he left, we returned the toilet. They did not have the size we needed, so we asked for a refund. It took a while, but they issued me a receipt stating that it was going back to my American Express. However, the receipt was only for the toilet and not for the installation. When I inquired refund about the installation refund, I was told (by Federika) that it is automatically refunded. When the refund did not appear on my card, I called the store over and over again all afternoon. After AI said it would connect me with someone, the phone only ring and ring. I tried 20 times and each time it rang at least 20 times. Never an answer. I called Lowes Marietta and someone answered right away. They said everyone complains that they do not answer the phone there. They tried to help me by giving them the name/number of the district manager. His voicemail message box had not been set up, so I could not even leave a message. I called Marietta again and they gave me a different number to someone named Tally. I left messages a few times with no call back. The next morning I tried calling again and had the same results. No one answered at the store. I had to finally drive there. They went and got somebody named Jacob who told me he was one of the managers. He looked at my receipt and said it's already been credited to your account, contact them. Then told me that they never refund for installation. I said it was an installation that never happened because it was the wrong toilet. Told him of my experience of no one answering the phone and he just stared at me rudely. I also watched him refuse to replace another customers dead plant. Not a huge plant, a small plant. He was also was rude to her telling her she never bought it there, even though she was trying to explain that it was on her Lowe's card. She was also a senior citizen like me. On my way home, I contacted Lowe's corporate office, who initially told me that they do not refund installations. I said, "but the installation never occurred and the plumber they sent said they would refund". I added that if they do not refund installations that do not occur, why is it such a secret? She was very kind and helpful. Ultimately she checked into my refund for the toilet and connected me with Angi for refund of the non-installment. All of this took me almost 24 hours to resolve, including a trip back to the store. There are a lot of similar stories on here about this store. You are warned. They obviously know about the problems at this store, but do not address them.
