Great store. Always stocked with what I need and the employees are friendly. I couldn't really ask for more.

Management is horrible. They dissappear to the back and leave their cashiers hanging. It's annoying. They need to hire.

I saw a listing for a lawnmower on the Northern Tool website, albeit on backorder. When I checked…read morethe Northern Tool Marietta location, I noticed one in stock. After calling to confirm, I was told there was one box left, so I headed over immediately. When I arrived and asked for the lawnmower, they showed me an assembled version with a 3-year warranty for an extra $50. I requested the lawnmower at the online price without the assembly/warranty add-on, but my request was denied. This discrepancy between what I was told and what was offered in-store raises concerns about Northern Tool's consistency and honesty.

Stuff I didn't even know existed do exist at NTEC. They have stuff like pressure washers that cost as much as a down payment on a small condo and if you want a dollie...they have about 12 in all different sizes and shapes. I came in looking for a big push broom for a client of mine....don't ask. I went to Homie D. (Home Depot) Lowe's, Wally Walmart, and Ace. No one seem to have a decent push broom that didn't cost $80. So I came here out of suggestion by the nice folks at Graingers....a shout out to those guys there... Now most place have just one kind of push broom but not NTEC. I think I counted at lest 4. I didn't know there was such a big market for them.... Well I ended with one for less than $20 and according to the packaging it was made in the USA. For fun I wanted to throw some rope, black trash bags and a shovel into my order to see if I would get followed by Homeland Security....I did get a good laugh out of the cashier..... 1416th review 6/25/2018 336th review for 2018

The "hardwood" which ended up just being laminate just wore away in over 100 spots. The photos show just a fraction. The inspector told us we should be able to scrub with a green scouring pad. First off, their website is terrible. It is impossible to navigate. Most of the links redirect back…read moreto the top of the page. This is probably the only site left on the internet not using HTTPS. They do list catalogs for each of their vendors. But as an customer service rep told me, they don't carry everything their vendors sell. If you are looking for a specific type of product (say sheet goods) you have to search each vendor's catalog. After talking with a rep on the phone, I was even less impressed with the company. Each location carries different stock, so the company doesn't provide a physical catalog or a PDF (so you are stuck combing through things on their website). So for each item that you want, you have to call and ask if it is available, and if not come up with another option. I was also surprised at how little they did carry. I was looking for OSB and was told that the Atlanta warehouse didn't stock OSB, in any size. I was also told that I would be charged retail price unless I setup an account, which requires filling out an application. Why make people jump through these hoops? There are so many other lumber delivery options in the city I can't understand how this place is still in business.

He showed me where it was and wanted to hurry back to the front with it in his hand without letting me even look at it. I stopped him saying I needed to compare the product to what I had to make sure it was the right one. There were multiple options and no differentiating description on the front. You also couldn't see it fully without opening it up so I was trying to make sure I had the right one. I did not want to come back or have to go somewhere to replace it. He kept rushing me and when I went to take the product to look at it, he held onto it until I had to pull it out of his hand. He literally pressed his fingers together gripping it. It was very clear he did not want me touching any of the product in the store. I guess he thought I was going to grab it, stuff it down my leggings, rush past him and out the store. It was $7. I had no purse and had my wallet and keys were in my hand so I have no idea where his imagination was going. After I looked at, I was decided to try it so turned to talk to the front check out and he grabbed it out of my hands to walk it to the front. I typically shop here because the Lowes is far but I'll take my business elsewhere. I wouldn't want to frighten the old white men with my presence. Fox News must have told him every POC wants what they have and will steal it right in front of them in broad daylight. In reality, I would rather not speak or deal with you either.

ACE isn't being competitive with the bigger box stores. I won't use their business going forward.!
