Walked into the new showroom to pick out suitable light fixtures for our home. Several sales representatives were in the showroom and there were no other customers present. We looked for at least ten or fifteen minutes without anyone approaching us to ask if they could help us. Bottomline, we were ignored. For that we left and will never return. We will purchase our lighting fixtures from another lighting vendor that wants our business. read more

I purchased an expensive Savoy Lightening Fixture,#3483508 from Progressive Lightening on Barrett Parkway on 3/5/26. The fixture was picked up on 3/13/26. I had someone install the fixture at my expense on 3/14/26. Half way through the installation one of the end pieces was welded together so it could not be used. I immediately contacted the store and spoke with the Sale Person, Linda Parker. Gave her the part # and she told me they had a replacement part in the warehouse and I would be able to get it in a day or two. The individual who was installing the fixture (4 of us) we also noticed that the fixture itself was crooked (appeared to be welded incorrectly). In addition, when trying to insert the bulbs all of them were crooked and would not stand up straight in the socket. Once again I contacted Progressive and this time I spoke with the manager, Carol and I was told they would send a replacement light to be installed. During the time I waited for a replacement light I had surgery so I had to push the service date back a few days. When the new fixture arrived it also had the same piece welded together that could not be used and the replacement light also had the same issues as the original fixture. I requested the service individual to please remove the damaged fixture and take it back to the store. I was told he did not have a service order to take down the fixture only to swap out the fixture. I called the store again and spoke with Carol the manager and requested a refund be issued. She told me I needed to return the light before any refund. I explained to her that Progressive should be responsible for taking down the light and returning it to the store. It was a faulty fixture!! She told me absolutely not!! At that time I got quite upset and told her I would find out the owner's name and give them a nasty review pertaining to their unsatisfactory customer service. She immediately stated she would discuss with the Operation Manager. Once again no return calls from them and I had to follow up on the status. This time Carol said they would put in a service order but they wanted me to look at a couple of the other lights. On 4/22/26 a new service individual came out and brought two other fixtures. The same piece was welded together and the entire fixtures were crooked and light bulbs would not align up straight. This time the service individual did remove the hanging fixture. I once again called spoke with Carol and requested two credits to my credit card. She stated before she could refund the money the service request would need to be completed. I specifically asked if she needed my credit card number and her reply was that they already had the two purchases and it would automatically be refunded to my account. After several days allowing for the credit to appear on my account I called again and spoke with Carol (in the background) and I was told they needed my account number. I reminded her that on 4/22/26 she specifically stated that she had all the necessary information. So today is 5/6/26 and Progressive Lightening still has not issued any refund in the amount of over $1,300 plus!! Yesterday I contacted my credit card company and filed a disputed claim. I purchased this fixture because I liked it and was willing to pay the price for it. However, I did not want a damaged fixture and I felt that Carol the manager maybe at the direction of the Operation Manager was forcing me to look at two more additional lightening fixture before refunding my money. Why are they putting obstacles in my way and refuse to give me my credit of over $1.300 plus. While you are holding for a representative they brag about their exceptional customer service. I have been treated poorly and any other means I can find I will give this nasty review for Progressive Lightening on Barrett Parkway, Kennesaw, GA. read more

Bought 5 ceiling fans, open boxes. They said they test it and it work. So after electricians installed, 3 of them is not work! It force me buy parts to replace the damaged parts. But only one part that I can't find anywhere!, I went back that store for help, L.Parker can't help me but one guy in back of building said sent information to him by email. BUT L Parker end up ingore my 3-4 emails. Very disappointed. I did everything that they ask me to sent information to their email. But they ignore me for over week. Drove 2 hours for nothing. And now this $1200 worth fan is waste. Never buy open boxes again! And very disappointed with their service. read more

I have lived in the area for 4 years and now that my husband and I are moving several hours away I wanted to stop at Progressive Lighting to hopefully find some distintive light fixtures for our new home. To my surprise the store had far more than light fixtures, they had home decor, furniture and artwork as well. As soon as we walked in an amicable young lady greeted us and told us about the sale they were having. While my husband and I started our way to walk around the store I could not help but to point out all the items I had to have. I was able to find several lovely pendants, 2 table lamps and artwork. My husband told me we could only purchase a few items and would make a trip back once we moved into our new home. The customer service was outstanding. All of the Ladies were very helpful. Prices are reasonable and I was able to find unique pieces that I haven't seen anywhere else. They have a website, but I prefer going into a store to see exactly what I'm purchasing, especially if it is a light fixture. I will definitely be back to Progressive Lighting. read more

You know you're dealing with good people when you walk in with a part that needs to be replaced but the company doesn't sell that part...but they still treat you like a valued customer answering all your questions.... That's exactly what happened...I broke a light fixture and needed a replacement...after going to my usual places like Walmart, Lowes and Home Depot...I decided to come here. While they didn't have the part...they gave me a list about 8 names of places both online and locally that would be able to help me out. I have to say I wasn't expecting that at all....Kudos to Progressive Lighting for being a class act and showing how every business should treat a customer regardless whether they buy from you or not... read more

As a Realtor who helps my clients with Renovation choices I have brought many sales and new clients to Progressive Lightings in Kennesaw over the years. I was choosing fixtures for a clients home renovation, had gone in previously and knew what we wanted. When my client and I walked in last week just to get number to place an order that my time was limited as they closed soon. As I walked in 3 women and one very talk husky dark haired male employee were behind the desk. I immediately said " I'm just taking a quick look at bath lights. The man looked up didn't greet us and said "We close in 7 min" mind you none of the offered to assist nor left the desk. I popes back to lighting but became put out with his attitude abd decided to ask for the manager, Carol. I went to the man and asked for her. My client and I both told him that the way he spoke to us and didn't offer to help was poor customer service and we weren't going to purchase. He proceeds to call his manager and to tell me what a great sales person he was and he was the best one there. When Carol arrived she was obviously intimidated by this man and did not ask him to apologize. To the owners of Progressive, I won't be back. I drive 1 hour to shop there and have for years, bringing client after client. I will not subject my clients to this type of treatment. read more

I don't even want to give a star! THE WORST experience! I ordered the lights for more than 9,000 dollars four months ago, but in the last month, they told me that they hadn't ordered them for me, so when I moved into the house, my lights were not installed. The installers are also very unprofessional. They didn't come at the agreed time, and they installed it in the wrong place, or they even forgot to bring the lights. Also, it was super hard to get in touch with them all the time, don't reply to emails, don't answer calls!!! read more

We purchased many thousands of dollars worth of lights from this store, and several months after purchasing them, our project began. So, we decided (rather, our electrician advised against using them) two of the lights needed replacing. So, these COMPLETELY UNOPENED boxes with receipts were taken back to this store. We have over time spent enough at this location to buy a nice car. The store told us not only would they not return the lights (we didn't ask for this) they also would not exchange them. Keep in mind, unopened, sealed, with a receipt. But again, no exchange. No matter how many managers were involved, nothing. So, they have lost us forever. We will no longer pay their ridiculously expensive prices. read more

Absolutely the WORST service I have ever received. The two ladies at the front desk couldn't be bothered to pause their conversation long enough to respond to our hello. Yes that's correct. WE spoke first and were returned with silence. We looked around and absolutely no one asked if we needed assistance. When we left again not told to have a great day or anything. Great Place. We are building a new house and need lots of light fixtures. Of course we are on a budget. We went to the outlet and got most everything we need. Great selection and great prices!!! But most of all, the employees, Shane and Cameron, are so kind and helpful. They are more than willing to help you and answer any questions you may have. Great place to shop. We will go back. Today, Progressive Lighting was a disappointment. An appointment was made last week for a technician to come to my house today to inspect a malfunction ceiling fan that was purchased from Progressive Lightning. When the appointment was made, I was informed that I was second on the day's schedule, which I understood meant I would not have to wait around all day for the technician to arrive. Around 11:30 am, I telephoned the Progressive Lighting and spoke to the gentleman that made the appointment. I inquired whether the technician was indeed on his way. I was assured the technician would arrive as scheduled. It is now 6:46pm. I waited all day. The technician never showed. In addition, no one from Progressive Lighting bothered to telephone me to provide an update. It's looking like I will have to, again, initiate contact with Progressive Lighting to reschedule. I'm amazed any retail company is able to remain in business after delivering such poor customer service. read more

We purchased light fixtures and ceiling fans for our new home. They gave us the name of their recommended installer who would call to set up appointment to come by and give us a price for installation. My wife left two messages with Mark and I left one. Mark never called either of us back. We called the installer (Carlos) twice and he has not called back. I went into the store today and asked why he didn't call me back. He said he called Carlos (but I asked him to call me). Didn't seem concerned. Poor customer service. Will cancel the order and go elsewhere if someone's not here within two days. I've purchased light fixtures at this store for three other homes in the past and have never been treated like this. read more

When I walked in asked for pendants to match the fixtures my builder used in my new home. She sent me to the clearance section. I'm assuming she sized me up by my appearance and thought it was all I could afford. I eventually found the fixtures I was looking for (not in the clearance section) and I asked a sales person who was helping someone else if I could ask a question when they were done. He told me I could go back to the front desk and put my name on the waiting list. So I guess I wasn't worth paging an available consultant like they had done for everyone else who came in after I was sent to the clearance section. So I left, googled the name brand of the fixtures I wanted and ordered them online for 20% less. I refuse to spend money in a place the judges me by the color of my skin or the clothes I'm wearing. read more
