Fast forward to our current project where we have purchased all of our marble backsplash and shower tiles from The Builder Depot. I have spoken with their customer service a number of times before ordering and they have always been super friendly and helpful. I even ordered sample of tiles we were considering before making the big purchase, and I can't stress enough how important that is to see a sample of the actual product before committing to it. I've had a total of 3 freight shipments delivered at various times during our project and everything went well. The tiles were packaged and protected with very minimal (if any) damage during transit all the way to California. I'm not done with the project yet but am happy with what has been installed so far. I can never go back to getting any marble tiles from the big box stores with their pricing and inconsistent quality. I'm a happy customer!

I paid a significant amount of money to get my cabinets painted a different color. The painter had to come back 3+ times to fix the mistakes. They left it up to me to find the mistakes and correcting rather than providing good quality completed work. 2. Same with the brand new gorgeous hardwood floors I installed. 3 seperate people came out to remove the mallot marks made from installation. I was gaslit, with them explaining "I don't see anything" when the marks were clear and obvious throughout. I had to point to each individual mark myself for someone to rub harsh chemicals to finally remove the marks. 3. We agreed that they would not be handling drywall repairs for the project for holes that they made and USED to do the work. A large hole was made in the ceiling that they ended up not using, bc they did not take the time to see if wiring was able to go through the ceiling (there are devices that detect this). They refused and saw no problem on their end repairing the unused hole. I had to find someone else to come and repair this and complete the job. Very nice people but do not believe they normally work on condo buildings. It may not be their forte.

Then after arriving for one of our planned layout meetings, we could not see the slab because it was unavailable. After finally having the layout meeting, one part of the backsplash was installed upside down and another part was cut from a different section without notifying us. After so many issues, I shared with them my concerns and they admitted fault and reduced the bill some. I have never written a review before for a product or company (good or bad), but I do not want anyone to suffer this type of customer service that I encountered at MC Granite.
