Meridith at the Kennesaw locations was incredible. My sister and I went into the store looking for the perfect chair for my mother who was about to leave the hospital after a 2 week stay. She needed something comfortable but beautiful. Meridith with a cheerful smile took us right to where we wanted to be. In moments we found what was needed. Meridith made the arrangements for us to pick up the chair that day at the warehouse, per our request. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the motor in the base of the chair. Title: Terrible Experience - Never Buying from Ashley Store Again I spent three hours in the store carefully choosing all the furniture for my home. They placed my order, but later I realized that several items were missing and they had added a protection plan I never agreed to. I went back to the store, they re-did my order, and supposedly fixed everything. Then came the delivery nightmare. I lost a day of work waiting for my furniture. They split my order into two separate deliveries -- the first one arrived, but the second was pushed back by several weeks. After complaining, they scheduled another delivery for today. Once again, I took the day off work, but the truck never showed up on time. Then I received a call from the store saying my order had been split again, and I would have to wait even longer -- still without a bed and mattress. I've been sleeping on the floor for weeks, waiting for the bed and mattress I paid for. They sold me items they don't actually have in stock and are holding customers hostage for weeks just to complete a delivery. This whole experience has cost me financially because I've had to miss work, and the constant delivery delays have been incredibly stressful. It's cold, and I risk getting sick because I'm still without a bed. Never again will I buy from Ashley Store. They sell what they don't deliver, and their customer service is completely unreliable. read more

Update to my original review: Unfortunately, things have only gotten worse. My second delivery just happened... and for the second time, the chair had to be sent back. This time, the delivery crew unwrapped the chair in the street and wheeled it across my lawn on a dolly. When I pointed out there was a stain on the fabric, the delivery guy asked if he could try to clean it off with a paper towel and water... seriously? Then, when I went upstairs to check on the bed being assembled, I walked in to find the team attaching the headboard and footboard upside down. I honestly couldn't believe what I was seeing. What's even more frustrating is that no one from Ashley has proactively reached out... not after the first bad delivery, not after the second, not even after I left a Google review. The only "response" I've gotten was a comment on the Google review asking me to email them... which I did, and of course, no one followed up. At this point, the poor communication, careless delivery, and total lack of accountability is beyond disappointing, it's unacceptable. read more

Frustrating Experience, Broken Promises, No Accountability I ordered a table from Ashley Furniture and it was delivered damaged, so I refused the delivery. I was told I'd receive a call within 24-48 hours to reschedule--no one called. When I followed up, I was told the new item would be delivered and that the table would be free and there would be no delivery fee due to the inconvenience. I confirmed this multiple times on the call. Since then, I've gotten nothing but conflicting information, changed delivery dates, and no written confirmation about the free item. I was able to get a delivery fee refund confirmed in writing, but no one is honoring the promise about the item itself. I've called, visited the store, and emailed corporate--which they opened, but still ignored. This experience has been a mess. I've filed complaints with the BBB and Georgia Attorney General, and I'll update this post depending on how they respond. I expected better service from a company of this size. read more

My husband and I purchased the Rawcliffe sectional from Ashley Furniture. We liked the somewhat modern look. Literally, within 2 weeks, the cushions started to deflate! They sent a service guy out to take a look. He declared the cushions defective. Ashley then sent us replacement cushions. They, too, went flat almost immediately. Went back to the store, salesperson told us that they've received MANY customer complaints about the sectional. They escalated our concerns to Corporate. Corporate gave us the runaround, and did absolutely nothing to rectify the issue. Terrible customer service! Needless to say, they have lost a customer. If there were a way to give negative stars, Ashley Furniture would deserve them. I bought a reclining couch, and at no point did anyone tell me the sale was final. Nothing was verbally disclosed, and the document I signed looked like a standard sales receipt. Only after the transaction did I receive a printed copy showing "All Sales Final" buried in tiny print. When the couch arrived broken, I called to return it and was told it wasn't eligible. I made multiple phone calls, got different answers every time, and was treated terribly. When I went to the store, the manager shrugged and pointed to tiny signs around the store that no one would ever notice. After more waiting and stress, they finally approved the return and sent a refund email. That was over two weeks ago, and I still don't have my money. Every time I call, I'm passed around with zero accountability. I finally had to file a credit card dispute just to protect myself. This entire process has been draining and infuriating. BUYER BEWARE!! At the time of writing this, we purchased a new sectional in store at this Ashley location. The experience from the beginning was not great, however, we purchased this item in May and still have not received our sofa in it's entirety. We are missing 3 pieces and are now being told that they will be unable to deliver the correct product until August. This is absolutely insane. The original scheduled delivery date was June 10th. The crew delivered 2 of the wrong items and had to return them. We then went through the HORRIBLE experience of dealing with overseas customer service agents and had them deliver yet again on June 26th. The incorrect items were delivered AGAIN!!!! After days of trying to get in contact with the store directly, I finally had to personally visit the store just to speak with someone. Once there, I had hopes that my problem would be resolved, I might get an apology, and possibly some type of compensation(refund for delivery fee) for this problem. Instead, all I have received was a delivery date of August of this year, I can't get a response out of anyone other than the Sales Manager, David, who has told me that there is nothing further that he can do for me, and now Ashley has the full purchase price for the product that I don't have and they are refusing to return the product for a refund. Absolutely the WORST delivery experience I have ever had! First I paid for "white glove delivery" where for $299 we had the pleasure of the rudest delivery guys coming and delivering furniture, leaving screws all over the carpet (what should those have been in anyway?) and bringing a broken end table. They stated that they took pictures and would have someone come fix it. That's when the real nightmare started! Ashley sent a repair person to my house with no notice when I was 700 miles away. From there I have called, chatted and angrily spoken to 7 people requesting a full refund since they can't fix it and I didn't pay for broken brand new merchandise. I have had two appointments they scheduled and then cancelled with no notice, a mysterious package show up with what I assume is the part to fix it and 100% disappointment and lack of resolution. I plan to load it up in my car and go into the store personally and see what I can get to happen... or at least save some other folks the same experience by steering them to literally any other place to buy furniture... even Goodwill. 0/10. The service is horrible. To begin with, their delivery people are extremely lazy. They found it too " difficult" to put legs on a chest and left their mess everywhere. Also the orders are always incomplete. I was missing parts of the bed and other parts were not even the right size. They need better workers. We bought a bedroom suite, we were told it was at the warehouse and it would be delivered in two weeks. We said ok, then after the deal was made they called and told us the complete set was not there and they delayed the delivery. When we finally received the furniture ( it took 4delivery dates), the NEW nightstands 1 was broken, the other one had been damaged and had a terrible repair job, repackaged and sold to us as new. When we called to complain they sent a repair person to fix the damaged furniture. We paid for new furniture and we received damaged goods. Phil (the repairman) was great, he was doing his job and he was able to get the one which had the previous repair replaced, but in my opinion both of them should he been replaced. After all we did pay for new furniture. My wife and I have decided that we will never buy Ashley furniture again. read more

The positive aspect of this review is specifically for Robert Collazo. We were here on a Sunday afternoon. The store wasn't crowded. I was heavily disappointed by the lack of response from several Customer Service Representatives who walked right past us. Some were seating idly scrolling on their devices and others simply pacing back and forth. No eye contact, No offer to help, No courtesy whatsoever. Robert however was a breath of fresh air. He was helping another customer when we first walked past him, but he astutely saw us circling a particular furniture set and asked who our service helper was, and if he could get them for us. I told him we had no one even though we'd been in the store for an hour. He was extremely apologetic. He asked if we'd give him a few minutes to wrap things up with his current customer. Once he was done, he immediately proceeded to help us out. He was extremely knowledgeable, respectful and patient. He inquired about our aesthetic preferences and helped us walk through the vast selection in the store. He ultimately helped us curate a custom set to go with the space we wanted, even mixing and matching different selections to meet our expectations. Ashley, I hope you recognize this incredible and hospitable young man as an invaluable asset to your establishment. People like him deserve accolades for going above and beyond. To the other employees who walked right past us multiple times without as much a greeting, please learn from your comrade, you can and ought to do better! read more

This company is corrupt and you should avoid them at all costs. They do not offer returns or replacements but instead circulate damaged returns. They sold me a table with nails sticking out of it. When I requested an exchange, they first made me wait 3 weeks for a technician to come out and see if he could fix it. When the technician realized it was irreparable, he authorized an exchange. Ashley came out on 3 different occasions with a refurbished table that was in worse condition than the one they originally provided. After months of communication and frustration, I am still stuck with nails sticking out of the table. In addition, their delivery team damaged my door frame as they were careless. Ashley's resolution was to send out a very lousy repair man who did not care about the end result and it showed, the gouge and cover up on my door frame remain an eyesore. They will delay you until you are exhausted and just want the nightmare to be over. read more

While I am pleased with the furniture we purchased this year, I am disappointed with the lack of follow through from Lana. We were promised 4 pillows for the sofa and that was 12 weeks ago. I have followed up 5 times and given what I feel are excuses. It does not take this long to get 4 pillows completed. The latest response was something to the effect 'I wasnt supposed to do this and you weren't charged'. Weak! The bottom line is you made a commitment to a customer who spent well over $10,000. I get that we're in COVID. I've been living in it as well. Bud when a company has gone belly up, pandemic or not, it's evident. Purchased a recliner from Ashley's about 11 years ago. Loved the recliner and the service. Went o purchase a replacement recliner at the store on Barrett Pkwy on May 30, 2021. Bought one that day for $765. Sales rep was Craig, great guy. Said they were a ways out on delivery I told him no problem and that I understood. Got an email that said order was ready earlier than expected and for me to pick my delivery date. Chose July 5. Called Ashley's on July 1 around 10a to confirm given the holiday weekend. They confirmed. Got a call from Ashley's same day around 5p to say there had been a delay, delivery pushed back to Jul 14. Found it odd, but went with it. Ashley's called me back on Jul 10 to say there had been another delay and the delivery wouldn't be until Jul 31. I cancelled that day. Ashley's said I would get a refund in 7-10 days. Messaged Ashley's on Jul 26 to notify them of the issue. Said they would submit a ticket and get right on it. They confirmed it was cancelled over two weeks back. Didn't know what the hold up was. On Jul 27, Ashley's rep called me to say he understood the issue and wanted to resolve it. Called the store with me on the other line. Came back and said they were too busy to answer the phone and that I would need to go to the store personally to see if they had an inventory credit so they could process my refund. I called my financial institution and processed a dispute. Money was refunded same day. If Ashley's can't deliver furniture, can't process simple financial transactions, and all of the reps can't assist customers, how long will this chain stay in business? On Jul 13 I went over to Woodstock Furniture in Acworth and picked up a recliner same day from their distribution center. Pretty seamless really. Many games in town so don't get jerked around without knowing what you're getting in to. Just be ready. read more

I came here in search of a bed and mattress yesterday evening and I thank God for discernment. My sales associate (Naim) was pushy, rude and impatient. I saw two mattresses that I really liked and was deciding between one with a pillow top vs one without. Mattresses are a huge investment + I haven't heard too many positive things about Ashley Furniture in general (including this location), so I needed to make a sound decision. It was nearing closing time, so I told the sales associate (Naim) that I would be calling a close contact to help me in navigating my decision. Naim then tells me, verbatim, "how old are you? You can make your own decisions." That comment was very unprofessional. He continued to push me toward buying a mattress, stating that I could just cancel it if I changed my mind. I was not going to continue going back and forth with him. I told him that I would need time to decide on my purchase and stated that I would think about it and come back another day. He didn't seem too happy about that. I do not plan on shopping at this store. And after reading the other reviews, I'm glad I decided against it. NEVER AGAIN will I do business with this store or with Ashley Furniture. I came in here with the intent of purchasing a chair, and found one I liked. I came back 2 days later to finalize the purchase, and once I had my credit card ready to go, the bait and switch tactics began. I was told the piece was in stock at the warehouse, I was told a delivery date, and agreed that I could make that work. The second I came home from the store, I was called by their warehouse, and told there would be a delay on my order. I told them that was unacceptable, and he could either see what could be done, or I was going to need a refund. The guy sat there for 30 seconds silent, then said "OK" and hung up the phone. I called the warehouse number back trying to find out what was going on, and was connected to a rep who was unable to pull up anything with my order number. She told me I needed to call a corporate office, and gave me the number. I called said number, and they couldn't pull up the order, and then I was told that I had reached a regional center for the Northeast. I called the store, and was again connected to a call center. I was told they don't give guarantees on delivery dates or times, and they could give me no guarantees there would be no further delays. I finally got a hold of the store, and was given the same circular answers by the rep, and I demanded to speak with the store manager, and was told "He's just going to tell you what I just did." I told this rep that I didn't care, and that I requested to speak to a manager. I was put on with the store manager, Fred. Fred was very rude and told me that he could not personally call the warehouse, or be able to work with me and them to guarantee a delivery date on which I could be present to receive it. At that point I chose to cancel my order, and I will never do business with Ashley Furniture again. This is the most unprofessional operation I have ever seen. Nobody in the company seems to know what is going on, and it is a completely disorganized dumpster fire. I will look around and find a local operation whose word actually means something, and actually wants to earn and keep my business. read more

First delivery date was missed after confirmation, called and asked when it was coming was told a date almost a month later, explained that we had already removed and disposed of our old furniture based upon a confirmed delivery date the rep asked when we where home and we told her always, she promised a delivery the following Saturday. We called to confirm the Saturday delivery and where then told it would be at least another 2 months as a delivery was not scheduled... We should've known better when they charged us twice for our down payment. Months of waiting, changing delivery dates, no communication, just horrible. I filed a BBB complaint and thought that led to a resolution after I got a helpful email back, but that ended up being a lie as well. I don't know how they stay in business. The quality of the furniture is good. BUT, the stain of the leather is not. It didn't last 3 years. The extended warranty they sold me was supposed to cover EVERYTHING. The warranty company said the stain was a manufacturer defect and is not covered. My advice: Don't buy here. read more

I purchased on May 8 a bookshelf/case and specifically requested it be assembled completely. I was told by the salesperson that it would indeed by assembled and that my delivery date would be June 20 (6 weeks after purchase). I never received a notification that the delivery date was changed to July 27 (2-1/2 months after purchase). Of course, on June 20, when delivery did not happen, I spent over an hour trying to speak with someone about my order. When the item finally arrived, it was IN A RIPPED BOX, UNASSEMBLED. The item was refused and I have been trying to contact someone at the store where I purchased it, to no avail. Apparently the office does not open until 1:00 in the afternoon and to talk to anyone at all, you must visit the store. Very disappointed with Ashley Furniture. Our furniture was delivered Thursday 19 Dec, with no hardware. The delivery people told us they would have to return the next day because they didn't have the "hardware" to put it together. Friday came and no return... we called multiple times with no real answers. We finally got a call yesterday (23 Dec) stating we would get a "service call" today (24 Dec) between 10am-2pm and of course no call. The whole purpose of us getting the table during the holidays was to our first Christmas in our new home at a table so I'll give you one star for that. Taurus was a great sales man. Kind and helpful. The delivery team is a damn joke! I made it clear what I needed in the store. I tipped them cash and gave them cold drinks to bring it up the addition 5 stairs.. this big 6'8 350 lb guy said it's too heavy after taking my tip. I offered to help him push it up there... and let him know I do not have anyone to help me move it. Nope. I told him to give me my money back and he just got in the truck and drove off with my tip in hand. Needless to say, i do NOT recommend the delivery team. Now I have 3 heavy ass boxes that I cannot move and they are blocking my kitchen! Maybe Ashley furnature needs to do a better job hiring their delivery team. 3 guys, one stayed in the truck. I made a purchase on October 8th, 2022, at Ashley Furniture store in Kennesaw GA. On October 22nd, 2022, I noticed the items purchased went on sale. I went to store to ask for a price adjustment and was told to visit the business center at the store. The sales associate initially told me they give price adjustment until he realized items had already been delivered.
