Mini book...Sorry. I like to write clear and concise reviews.
I went into the store at this location on 3/3/20. I was not sure if I was going to make a purchase or not, so I was looking around. I asked to see the less expensive mattresses and I was looking at the floor model headboards that were on sale. After being in the store maybe 10 minutes or so, an older couple came in. The couple was discussing issues with a mattress that they purchased at a different location. Seemingly, this couple expressed interested in maybe making another mattress purchase from this particular location.
Needless to say, as the couple was trying out mattresses for their feel, the salesman totally ignored me...did not even acknowledge that I was still in the store. I waited for about 10 minutes to see if the salesman would say something like...I will be back with you shortly. He never did. He apparently saw a larger commission from these other people, thus, he totally ignored my presence. After a while, I decided to leave. As I passed him at the door, I told him that I saw something that I was interested in, and that I would come back another time. There won't be another time. I decided to go to Ashley furniture next door and make a purchase for the mattresses (more than what I had expressed spending here), a headboard, and a drawer chest.
The moral of the story here for salespeople is this...DON'T judge a book by its cover and definitely don't ignore a potential customer just because he or she is looking at the less expensive items. You have NO idea how much a person is willing to truly spend if he or she sees something that they like.
While this salesman "may" have made a sale to these other people, he lost out on a sale with me. Actually, I am glad because Ashley furniture has a larger selection and the prices are not bad. Thanks for the poor customer service. You did me a huge favor.
