It shed fibers everywhere, and the fibers pulled out after routine vacuuming. I returned the rug within the stated return window and had my original receipt. After inspecting it, the store manager acknowledged that the rug appeared to be defective, yet I was still told that the store could not issue a refund. To make matters worse, this rug was extremely large and very heavy. I had to drag it into the store myself, and I was caught in the rain while bringing it inside. Instead of showing understanding, the manager complained that the rug was wet while I too was standing there dripping and explained it was raining outside. That interaction made an already frustrating experience even more disappointing. A customer who returns a defective product with a valid receipt, within the published return window, should not have to struggle physically to bring the item back only to be denied a refund after the defect is acknowledged. Standing behind defective merchandise is a basic part of good customer service. This experience has seriously damaged my confidence in shopping here. I hope the company reevaluates its policy and gives store managers the authority to resolve situations involving defective products fairly.

Our salesman was patient and thorough and fully informed us before we order about the probable lengthy delay for delivery. Whether is was due to Covid or other supply chain issues, we were not broadsided. Then after delivery, we had an small issue the the recliner mechanism. We called the company and a repairman was dispatched and the problem was corrected within a few days. So, not every customer will have our experience, but we're very satisfied and would have no issue in using the company again.

Any issues at this point are considered normal wear and tear, which are not covered under the manufacturer's warranty" So "lifetime" is not lifetime but rather whatever age until it breaks at which point it's at the end of the life of the product. Lifetime is based on what they believe the product lifespan should be. Recliner is 20 years old but I paid 10x the price of the cheapest recliner because it was supposed to be a lifetime warranty.
