Terrific prices. It's a fairly new facility, so it's not wicked busy. Busy, but not terribly so. The food court is about twelve picnic tables next to the cash registers, so it can fill up, but you can't beat the prices on the food. It was delicious, too. Can feed a family for less than ten bucks. Place was clean, people were friendly, parking lot was clean. One nice thing is that the gas station is right at the pull-in; you can get gas and leave without running through the main parking lot. Good stuff. read more

From all the Costco in the surrounding Atlanta area, this is by far my favorite Costco. Its a drive to come out here because we live 25 minutes away, but for me its well worth. The staff is SUPER friendly and I always leave there with a smile on my face. My second "favorite" Costco is Kennesaw and the Cumberland Costco makes me cringe along with Brookhaven. We signed up online for Costco membership with a MasterCard. We visited the Dallas GA location and spent 2 hours shopping for groceries. When we went to check out, they would not accept the MasterCard that we used to pay for the membership! They only accept Visa. So we left the groceries that we spent 2 hours shopping for without paying for them. We went to member services and the lady was extremely rude and cut us off mid sentence. Then tried to sell us on a Costco Visa after being extremely rude. We will not be going back there and will attempt to call the 1-800 number back to get our membership fee refunded back to us. Upon "Self-Checkout", without any training or notification I was told "I COULD NOT" utilize the hand held scanner at my register!! I asked why?? Their response was it is only for use scanning "large" items! Wow!! Put a sign up for non- employees so we know YOUR scanner rules! My pizza was large, but did not qualify! Seriously?? Something is going on at Costco. Either they are growing to fast or they have outsourced key business functions. I ordered 4 tires to be delivered to the Dallas, Ga warehouse. I was supposed to be notified when the tires arrived to make an appointment for installation. After a week I called the warehouse and found out the tires were delivered a few days after I ordered them, but the system still showed them on order. The installation went fine, but it's a shame it over a week and a phone call to get it done. I've also had issues with other products ordered from Costco.com. I wish I could give it 5 stars but great customer service should be a priority. Let me start out by saying I was elated to stop by and obtain a membership today. I hadn't been in Costco in decades. It was second on my to - do list today . I walked up to the Entrance and I was immediately told to go back out and enter in the Exit door to get a membership. I followed directions and walked over to the customer service counter . I was the only customer waiting to be helped . An employee pointed to a sign where she told me to stand and wait for assistance. I felt stupid because I wasn't sure why I needed to stand there as if I needed to wait in an imaginary line . After a few seconds Dre' asked if she could help me . I walked back up to the counter and proceeded to tell her I wanted a membership card . However, she cut me off in mid sentence, grabbed a bag full of advertisements and benefits to being a member. She went on and on about why I needed to be an executive member . I tried to intervene a few times to save her from over explaining that I only wanted the basic Gold membership for now . I wanted to see if it would be worth it for me based on my spending habits . Yet , I never got the chance to say much . She dominated the entire conversation. I felt like I was at a car dealership under pressure to buy the car I didn't want . I've been member of Bj's and Sams club and I got the gist of how becoming a member in general. I didn't mind her giving me details about the benefits, but I would at least wished I had the opportunity to express what I wanted . Besides , listening is part of great customer service . She must have gone one for 20 minutes. Then we got to the fact she needed a bank or credit card on file to auto renew my membership. I tried to explain that I don't like auto renewals because I may not want to renew . She didn't really listen to me , but she implied as if it is mandatory . Just as I didn't renew my Sams membership this time . It was a choice and I didn't have to concern myself with trying to get a refund or remembering to cancel . I like to have a choice . I didn't really feel that warm and fuzzy welcome I was expecting. It seemed more about getting me to sign up for the executive membership. Since I didn't I wasn't a VIP . I've had those type of memberships and I didn't use it enough to justify the membership. I'll return to shop here. The store is very nice and the layout is on point , the store was clean and shelves stocked with all types of items . My first visit didn't make me feel welcome . read more

Costco as a whole - 5 stars. Costco hours - 3 stars Costco Dallas GA food court - 2 stars. I've been coming to the Costco food court about 1-2x/month for as long as it's been open. It started off great - you could call ahead and order a pizza and it would be ready for you when you arrived. Now they rarely answer the phone. The food court has steadily declined. The ice cream machine was down during my last visit, they were out of the roast beef sandwiches the time before, and the biggest issue is they are chronically understaffed. They really need one person doing the ice cream, etc. and one person doing the pizza. I waited a full 20 minutes to receive 4 ice creams on my last visit (confirmed by the time on my receipt.). The food court employee kept looking at the items on my receipt, moving it over, and skipping over my order in favor of faster orders to fill. Several people that arrived after me got their food first. I would expect to wait for a pizza that I had not called in, but ice cream shouldn't have a long wait time. When I finally did get it, the cups were about 2/3 full (to save time.). . The less than full ice cream cups has been a real trend over the last few months. I go there to save money, but if I'm not getting what I pay for, it's not worth the long drive or the long wait. The waiting area is also chronically crowded and there's no good place to wait for your food. The Costco store hours are also kind of ridiculous. Closing at 6pm on the weekend? Really??? read more

They only had half the items we needed and that was after walking the entire store. The lack of signs showing where items are located is very frustrating. Then when we checked out all the items scanned but when we got to the door one item was missing on the receipt. The casher checked our register before we went to the door and said everything was fine. This was a case of passing the issue off to the next person in the chain. Then it involved 2 people to fix the problem and ring up the missing item that had scanned but not printed on the receipt. Then we had to STAND in line again to get our receipt checked a SECOND time to leave the store. We have been discussing if we wanted to renew our Sams membership so thank you for helping us make that decision! At Sams we can just use the app to scan and pay for all our items before heading to the door. No taking anything out of the cart! Then a quick scan of my phone's QR code and we are out the door. read more
