I have a dream. I want to buy a crappy painting at the thrift store for $10 and take it to the people on The Antiques Road Show only to be told it's an early unknown Jackson Pollok original worth somewhere in between $40-$50 million conservatively at auction.... The store is off of South Cobb Drive on the corner of Church Street. Nearby businesses includes a Chick Fil-A, https://www.yelp.com/biz/chick-fil-a-smyrna-10?uid=FdPioXvctMq8lhBtd_NnTg&utm_campaign=www_business_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct) Ebony & Ivory BBQ https://www.yelp.com/biz/ebony-and-ivory-smyrna?uid=FdPioXvctMq8lhBtd_NnTg&utm_campaign=www_business_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct) Up the Street there is a Shopping Center with a Kroger, A Starbucks, Pita Mediterranean Street Food https://www.yelp.com/biz/pita-mediterranean-street-food-smyrna-2?uid=FdPioXvctMq8lhBtd_NnTg&utm_campaign=www_business_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct) and Wing Stop https://www.yelp.com/biz/wingstop-marietta-2?uid=FdPioXvctMq8lhBtd_NnTg&utm_campaign=www_business_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct) The store itself is super clean and extremely organized. It's one of the nicest thrift store I've been in. I didn't see one item put in the wrong spot or for that matter a speck of dirt on the floor! Well done guys! They seem to have lots of nice children's clothes and items such as car seats, toys, etc. There were some nice sofa and couches up front when I was there and a large abstract painting (no not a Pollok) for $15. It's definitely a thrift store worth digging into again next time I'm in the mood to dumpster dive! 1208th review 2/9/2018 128th for 2018

Smyrna Thrift Store supports Paralyzed Veterans. I saw a truck, I'm thinking they may do large item pickups. Great place to support!!

Clean, affordable and organized. Great treasures inside. Better than Goodwill. I'd go back here.

I have visited this store many times and have really enjoyed each experience. However, the last…read moretime, I needed to use the restroom...actually, I've used it before and the other day, a lady (a customer), was still in the bathroom because they graciously allowed her to use it. I waited to ask because I knew she was in there or had just exited. I was told "we don't have public restrooms." I'm not public...I'm a customer. Or, I shall say I was a customer. Judgement about I'm not sure what lead them to refuse me I guess. Disheartened in Marietta... The reason this upset me the way it did is because I see the current state of our country and very often, I'm in tears over it. There is no reason to exclude people or treat others with disdain and that's exactly what this representative of SVDP did...she looked me up and down and refused to let me use their restroom. Your right to assume this is not the end of the world but along with all the other inequities I'm watching in horror, to me, it ranked right up there. I had to leave and go home and being treated by a catholic charity that I actively support, was more than disheartening. We all have to do better. Myself included. To the woman at the thrift store...treat others with kindness...the way you desire to be treated. It's actually much easier to pull off than judgement.

They had a 50 off everything in the store but practically none of the customers knew until you got…read moreto the register then, it's too late cause the lines weren't worth the extra time. Should have let people know upon entering or had better signage. Disappointing for many, and a missed opportunity for the cause. Prices are heading north every time you go. Gotta get a hold of things soon it won't be worth the trip.
