I don't normally talk about my thrifting locations ...anyway…read more.. This place is great & outside my normal rounds. Had to try on some iteams at the thrift store. No dressing room. I know tricks. Asked if they had mirrors and she directed toward the back of the store. Grabbed a big skirt on my way. Posted up in front of a mirror, threw on the skirt & changed into my selections in my own private dressing room. Before you know it I've got lady sharks circling me.really "interested" in the items hanging near by. Of course it wasn't true interest in the item... for whatever reason they wanted to be near the action. So I'm getting annoyed & decide to make uncomfortable eye contact. Kept changing without blinking. They moved on. Sis Ifinished up with my trials & decided I'd find the lady who so clearly wanted to be friends. And then everywhere she went, Ifound something to look at. Followed her all the way to the front door lol. She left with nothing. Then I took back to the racks what I wasn't getting and checked out with my treasures. Tried to haggle on two of my purchases at checkout, but only the white and blue tags were on sale & she stood firm. lol. Worth asking. For the money I'd say I got some good deals! There's your inside scoop.

There have a pretty nice section of not only clothing for kids and infants but also cribs, high chairs, car seats, etc. Some of the items doesn't look like it's been used at all...They also have lots cute tchotchkes for the home and the spare bedroom. Their prices are pretty competitive and reasonable. Most of the babies to kids clothes were only $2-$3 bucks and the adults range from $4-$15 depending on the items. They also have a program where you can donate items and get up to 10% off your total purchase. So start digging through the closet now and pull out all the stuff that you don't wear, can't fit in or never wore but you don't want to give it up because you paid a lot of money for it....and bring it on down here...and while you're here...pick up a few diddies to refill the closet space that you just freed up...

Smaller toys and some utensils are packed in plastic bags and nicely sorted. Furnitures did look spotless. I saw so many evening dresses and hats among other clothing items. This is a huge store and there were several employees working. Maybe that's why they are so well organized. Also, I found out, that they pick up larger donation items from home. I did talk to one of the Managers, and he told me how they operate. Customer service is great! Good place to make donations.
