There have a pretty nice section of not only clothing for kids and infants but also cribs, high chairs, car seats, etc. Some of the items doesn't look like it's been used at all...They also have lots cute tchotchkes for the home and the spare bedroom. Their prices are pretty competitive and reasonable. Most of the babies to kids clothes were only $2-$3 bucks and the adults range from $4-$15 depending on the items. They also have a program where you can donate items and get up to 10% off your total purchase. So start digging through the closet now and pull out all the stuff that you don't wear, can't fit in or never wore but you don't want to give it up because you paid a lot of money for it....and bring it on down here...and while you're here...pick up a few diddies to refill the closet space that you just freed up...

They have pretty good stuff here and for pretty cheap. Stuff like handmade dollies for 50 cents and neat kitchen stuff from the 70's and 80's. I bought a Olympus Infinity zoom 35mm film camera for $2. If I had bought it at a camera store I would of paid easily $38.00. The camera just needed a CR123 lithium battery and some 35 mm. I also saw two typewriters there...one is an electronic- a Smith Corona I think for about $25 and an old Royal standard for about $50. This is about the Goodwill Store on Hwy 92, Woodstock, GA:…read moreOn Monday, January 26th 2026, I went to this Goodwill, intending to purchase warm coats, jackets, and sweaters (taking advantage of their Monday's .99 items), to take to the homeless because it was supposed to be in the teens that night. While I was their, I purchased a play kitchen for my grandson and came upon a cool, black sequined formal dress that looked very fun! I do not go places where this would be appropriate and the item had no price tag but I thought it would be fun to try it on. It was my size. The checkout woman is known to me and I asked the price. She looked at it and gave me a price, noting that it was a formal. Since Goodwill allows returns, I purchased it, along with over 40 items to take to the shelters, and my play kitchen (which I would have to come back for, after dropping off the items for the shelters). Today, I came back with a few returns from another day and the dress. The acting manager refused to take the dress back because the person who rang me up had not put a tag on the dress. The manager knew who had sold it to me and also knew I had purchased the dress the day before. She had a terrible attitude. It was just a day ago, I told the manager the name and description of the girl who had sold the dress to me and she just said "The return policy is on the receipt". The policy iis that the tag must remain on an item in order to return it. My item was not given a tag, which was not of my doing. She seemed to enjoy refusing to refund my purchase. In the meantime, another customer came to the counter and asked to speak to the manager. The manager moved away to speak with that customer. The cashier who was helping me told me that the dress should not have been sold to me and I agree. It the other person had said that it could not be returned, I would not have purchased the dress. I do not know what the manager's interaction with the customer was but the customer left, obviously unhappy. That acting manager (Lawra Mills) gleefully and sarcastically yelled after that customer as she was leaving the store, "Thank you! Have a good night!" and then turned to the cashier who helping me "These entitled people!" The manager is named "Lawra" Mills and I had never seen her at that store before. I have shopped at that Goodwill for years. The male manager has always been friendly and always smiles. He has a "can do" attitude. Ms. Mills quite obviously feels contempt for her customers and seems to enjoy being incredibly rude. I enjoy going to Revive and Restore (thrift stores in the same shopping center) but I will think twice before returning to that Goodwill Store. If Lawra Mills the new manager, that will make the decision for me. The Woodstock Goodwill on Bells Ferry Road, in Woodstock, is much better, friendlier, and cleaner.

Charity-oriented businesses can have lousy products and services, but this one is the exception. The goods are well-sorted, presented neatly, and of good-quality. The volunteers who work there are friendly and helpful. They take credit cards, which is helpful at a thrift store. The parking can get full at peak times, and it's a right-turn-only exit; just something to be aware based on the time of day. Mostly Mutts is a great organization doing great things. Smaller toys and some utensils are packed in plastic bags and nicely sorted. Furnitures did look spotless. I saw so many evening dresses and hats among other clothing items. This is a huge store and there were several employees working. Maybe that's why they are so well organized. Also, I found out, that they pick up larger donation items from home. I did talk to one of the Managers, and he told me how they operate. Customer service is great! Good place to make donations.

With my car packed, I headed over to Urban Renewal. Immediately upon walking in I was in love! From the sweet and courteous smiling ladies working at the front, to the well put together displays... EVERYTHING WAS a 10! The store style struck me as a mash up of southern- country charm, with a little bit of vintage twist. I loved how they organized the store by size and clothing type (shirts, bottoms, activewear...). Their shoe collection was so tempting too!
