READ BEFORE APPLYING TO WORK AT THIS STORE!!!! boy oh boy if i could give-100000 stars i would. My name is Alejandra. i am 18 years old. i walked in one day because I basically live at this store no clothes i own are always 98% always from this store. well i saw a sign that said "Hiring" so jokingly i told my mom "It would be funny to work here and get a discount on the stuff lol" my mom said "Yea ask them!" and ended up asking this tall lady with glasses that Actually spoke Spanish. somehow a manager ended up front talking to me. Ms.Janet. she was overly nice and was almost even pushy and eager to hire me on the spot. i was a bit weirded out so i never applied i went back one day with my family and dec why not sign up on the Sign up sheet up front. keep in mind i have another job and get paid $10 so $14 an hour was music to my ears so i get a phone call almost 3 days later at 8-9 in the morning Asking if i could come i. for an interview so i say okay and get there around 9:30 ish. ms.Janet meets me up front already the staff is Looking me up and down and clearly judging me. I should've walked out right there. Ms.Janet tells me to fill out my application and tells me to tell the Lady who clearly already decided she didn't like me When i was done and she left. i told the lady i was done and the girl was like "okay Ms.Janet is gonna meet you in the back just knock" so i go on and head back i knock. NOTHING! for 6 minutes straight am already weirded out but i stay because i need the money. i final get some random employee to open the damn door. Ms.Janet is SITTING in her office and just Stares at me like she doesn't even know what i was there for. All of a sudden She goes "Come here I need you to call this lady who speaks no english. she's applying for the same job as you." alre i start Telling myself to leave. that was higll suspicious to me. but i do it and i call. fast forward the phone is ri i ask her. "What do you want me to say?" she goes "did she answer?" "No" "Okay then keep letting it ring" once again I already wanted to leave. all of a sudden someone else comes in and talks to her the phone finally answered and i turn to ask again "What do you want me to say?" This lady IS GONE! G-O-N-E GONE! so i self explain to the lady why she was being contacted and hang up. i ask sit and wait 10 at max 15 minutes when she still isnt back i ask her other employees Where she went they rolled there eyes and Just say "I dont know" so i say enough is enough and exit the "Back office" back into the store waiting right outside the door still. i run into this Spanish speaking lady also looking for Ms.Janet and we start talking i explain to her whats going on and even she is weirded out. I finally give up and go to the front of the store and Tell the lady up front I have to go and to have Ms.Janet contact me. i leave and go to Burlingto. after that day i never stepped foot back into this store until 1 week and 3 days later when i go in i Get dirty looks from the same lady who introduced me to Ms.Janet in the first place. also an 18 year old with anxiety i already felt embarrassed thinking Ms.Janet was going to be mad because i just left. fast forward i was checking out when suddenly Ms.Janet spots me she whispers something to the Hispanic lady and calls me over. shyly i Walk over smiling thinking she j Wanted to ask why i left HAD I KNOW HAD I KNOW!!!! What Janet was about to accuse me of I would've never Acknowledged her. this Lady has the audacity to look at me and go "I need the money you stole from my wallet or am going to call the police" naturally my mom and i start going off on her telling her I never stole her Stupid money and if she had proof. "Yes i do and ill call the cops right now" she says so i say"Do it then." well That apparently scared her because she ran off after that so we followed her to the back banging on the door She comes out and starts screaming at my mom "Why are you banging on my door?! what do you want." Obviously she just accused me of something serious so i start screaming at her and she starts screaming back my moms chinmed in and she goes "Can your daughter talk for her self?" sarcastically. i tell her once again to call the cops all of a sudden Janet wants to "Let it go this time" i burst out laughing at this bullshit. was she not just asking for her money back?. i tell her if she doesn't call the cops it's because she knows its not true. and that if she wont call them then i will." cops were called but unfortunately nothing could be done because "The victim called instead of her" so Janet got the luxury of calling me out in front of millions of People in the store and I couldn't do anything so am leaving this review not to be petty but to warn you ALL of the scam of Janet. please please do not DO NOT.! apply to work here unless you want a law and if you do work here mane sure to record any interaction with Janet because she'll probably Try and accuse you too read more

this store will give you a serious shopping addiction if you don't already have one. every item that i've worn from this store i'm asked where i've purchased it from & when i say "dd's" no one believes me...mkay. i always intend 2 run in check them out quickly & leave w/ just a few items but that rarely happens. i ALWAYS leave w/several shopping bags full of goodies. the clothing prices beat ALL goodwills, salvation army's, consignment stores, thrift stores etc. & no 1 has worn these clothes yet. you feel me? i am the crown wearing queen of thrift-store shopping & this store beats them ALL!! they sell designer handbags as well, tommy hilfiger is a designer isn't he? now here are the rules for all of the naysayers, snooty-rudys & hoyty-toytys...never shop here sat. or sun. & u must take your time & keep an open mind w/ nothing in particular that u are shopping for. there are jewels 2 be found in every dept. but u must shop w/diligence & patience, not only do i find designer items for me but for my 3x husband as well, yes (i said) my 3x husband. the male store mgr. is excellent & will soon know your face & greet u on every visit w/a smile & a pleasantry. he really does complete your shopping experience. the cashiers are quick & efficient & want u out quickly, no line, no waiting... read more
