I've been to this Nordstrom Rack a few times. I realized after our last visit that I hadn't written…read morea review for this location, so here it is. My wife likes this store. In general, she says she always finds something that's good quality and a good value, and customer service is good. She described Nordstrom Rack as, "like a higher-end T.J. Maxx." Some examples of items she's purchased here include Stuart Weitzman shoes (her wedding shoes; they're beautiful), Madewell sweaters and T-shirts (lots of T-shirts), a French Connection sweater, a Theory dress (one of my favorites; she's worn it to my company's holiday party and to one of her company's events), and NEST New York scented candles (they smell good). Another reason she likes Nordstrom Rack is because she can return both Nordstrom Rack and regular Nordstrom items. Convenient. During our last visit, employee Marquis was fantastic. At checkout, my wife didn't know her Nordstrom credit card expired. Marquis got her on the phone with someone who helped her take care of everything. She was still able to get her Nordy Club points and Notes (loyalty rewards). This Nordstrom Rack is located in Buckhead, just off Georgia 400 Exit 2, near Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza. It's in Buckhead Station, a two-story shopping center. On the weekends, Buckhead Station gets crowded and there are longer lines at Nordstrom Rack. During peak times, I suggest parking on the lower level where there is plenty of parking and no congestion. This Nordstrom Rack opened in 2010. It's the only Nordstrom Rack inside the perimeter.

This location is a little bit overstuffed. It's sort of hard to get around and see things. Just…read moremessy and a bit overstimulating. I do find some gems occasionally but you have to sort of hunker down and dig in almost like your thrifting. Also the parking lot is very difficult just a heads up.

During my visit, it seemed everywhere I turned, an employee was there to greet me and ask me if I needed anything. As I approached the key stand to get some keys cut, there were two employees ready to help. Shout-out to super-friendly Sahil for proactively asking me about my keys as soon as I pulled them out of my pocket. She let me know what my options were and I chose to have three standard keys cut at $2.98 each. Three total rang up to $9.74 after tax. Sahil told me this is the "fun" Ace Hardware and I could see why. The staff trended younger and more "hip." I'm a fan of Ace Hardware in general because each store feels like a small, local, and unique business. This one especially so. It's popular among locals with a strong sense of neighborhood and community. And, like other city Ace Hardware stores, it was densely-packed with all sorts of useful hardware and garden items. If you've never visited this location before, be sure to check out the beautiful plant room. They have a good selection of plants and a big wall of seeds. They even sell King of Pops here. Limited free parking is available on-site. I visited during a peak time and was able to snag a spot. If no spots are available, just park on Drewry St NE (also free). The lot is reserved for Intown Ace customers only.

Just bought about $65 worth of kit from here, was served by the delightful Tiffany, don't tell her I said that, who was patient with my insomnia and drooling problems. That's 65 not going to one of the billionaire gits that own the other two shops mentioned above. In case no one knows it, Lowes is owned by a member of the Walton clan, who basically have done their best to wipe out quality shops of all kinds and import nearly all of their products from China. I actually found stuff in Ace made in a strange country called the U.S of A. There is some of the Chinese stuff in there, but if you ask for quality stuff they have it. Unlike the Kobalt junk I bought from Homless Depot which had the endearing feature of in one case having the bit part of a screw driver literally snap off. Looks nice, is basically junk. Cheers.
