I was also offered to have them put the items I pulled from the racks in a dressing room for me. (Tugged at my retail working heartstrings. I don't see that request too often these days). Felt good about my purchases especially after seeing a coupon deal of 10% if you sign up on their text message listserv. I'm all about a good deal and happy to save where I can. Large sale area. They seem to gather most of the accessories and shoes. And they get the trendier things that other locations don't, but not a huge quantity. I do wish they had a men's section at this location and I truly do not understand why they do not while other, smaller locations do. I felt very taken care of by both ladies. It's a neat and not too big store so browsing won't make you exhausted. I came in to take advantage of their jean trade-in deal where you can bring in jeans of any brand and get a discount on Madewell's own jeans. Typically it is 20% but they are doing 50% until Sept 11. The vouchers you get will last until end of October. I brought in 5 pairs. I was so surprised about their sizing as I fit into a pair two sizes below my previous size and one size below the size I thought I'd be. I was also impressed that these jeans are cute and work comfortably as "sitting" jeans as shown in my below photo. Only con of the whole experience was the limited styles in petite sizing :( I'll be ordering the rest of my discounted jeans online, where there are also more wash colors.

Getting an appointment online was incredibly easy and they even offer some great deals along with multiple backgrounds and even props. I haven't been to JcPenney since I was a child but this one wasn't any different. The store was huge, clean and packed with different holiday decor and gifts alike. When we entered, we had no clue where to go and this nice woman was at the front of the store assisting anyone who walked in and she guided us to the studio. The studio itself is soooo small! But I can't blame JcPenney, they probably didn't know that their photo sessions would go so crazy but, they have - time for more space. There were seats for about 6 people and our Doona stroller embarrassingly took up more foot space than expected. Business is definitely booming back there though! Despite our set appointment, we didn't actually get into our shoot until an hour later because there was so much traffic. Honestly, that wasn't ideal but we totally understood because when we got into our session with our 8month old - he showed out lol. Leaving us to take an extra 20+ minutes than most probably because we were feeding and bribing a baby to smile. Our photographer was AWESOME. He was incredibly patient, kind and did all he could to make our son smile. We left with a number of great pictures that we'll be able to share for years to come and with their special(s), we walked out paying a little over $100. Not bad at all, we'll be back to snap some shots in the studio again!
