The chemistry is palpable, and it almost feels as though the two of you are already dating! Meeting up is just going to be a formality! That's how I felt after my first encounter with UNTUCKiT! I'm a guy that loves to wear my shirts untucked. And apparently this is what this store specializes in... shirts that look great untucked. I could almost hear the dramatic music playing as I excitedly approached the store. I had fantasized about this moment every time I saw a commercial. This would be my new "go to" store! I was so excited to learn that they had just opened at Lenox Mall!! I wish this love story had a good ending. But the honeymoon abruptly ended the moment I began trying on shirts, and it all came crashing down. Surely there had been some kind of mistake. These shirts did not look good untucked!! How could it be??? The universe was playing a horrible trick on me! In the end, I was only able to find one shirt that looked good untucked. Not a good batting average for a store that is supposed to specialize in shirts that look good untucked. In all fairness, there wasn't a huge inventory and they are planning on getting more in stock in the future. In addition, I saw some shorter clients that fared better than me. Clearly the results vary from person to person. The store is located on the top floor near the Apple Store. They sell both men and women's clothing. I'm not ready to give up on the dream just yet, and will definitely check this place out again in the future. I'm hoping that a larger inventory will yield better results. For now, I'm going to give them three stars and hope for the best. I'm hoping this love story will still have a happy ending.

I have nothing against national chain stores like Victorias Secrets but they are not for everyone. I'm a 32D. Victorias Secret does not even carry my size. However they size me in a C cup just to make a sale. I'm a very small girl with a large chest and my bra size is extremely hard to come by. I'm limited to speciality bra shops. I pay more for my bras but it is well worth it. I noticed a huge difference in my overall appearance and the fit of my clothes. My experiences at Soma are always awesome. The sales people are very knowledgable and friendly. They have a great selection of bras and underwear in many hard to find sizes. I highly suggest signing up for the mailing list. I always receive great discounts. Last time I went in I used a buy one get one half off coupon. I always snag great deals on my purchases.

Perhaps I do not look like the typical customer, what ever that may mean, however; immediately entering this store with the intention of purchasing their park avenue oxfords, I was approached - not greeted, by a stern older man with glasses. In the 15 minutes that I spent in the store, he did not take his eyes off of me for a second. Which made me uncomfortable. When I asked questions to see if he was just eager to help, he answered back short and matter-of-factly with an intense look. I continued browsing to see if he would let me be, but he continued to stare and began tapping on the table as if he were rushing me out. I have worked retail in the past and I can understand employees attempting to prevent theft, especially if shoplifting occurs frequently. This overt aggressiveness was shameful and unfortunate.

The deals were better than Dillard's (which no longer has sale days) or even Nordstrom's Rack. Two months ago, it would have been rated 4 stars.. Parking Park near the Chic Filet side entrance (furniture section) or in the covered deck. Or plan to drive in circles looking for a spot or walk a half a mile from your car. Customer Service IF you can find a cashier, they are usually helpful. Because they're absent, I'm often mistaken for an employee. I can be wearing yoga pants, if I have Macy's merchandise in my hands I will be asked where restrooms are. Expect a ridiculously long wait in the shoe department! Atmosphere The music is awful, the lines are slow, the fitting rooms are hot and dusty & it's hard to find items. One rack had women's suits (plus, regular & petites) with activewear, Xmas sweaters & PJ's! And there are racks of clothes that have been piled up from the fitting room & never returned. Layout Contemporary women's wear (jeans, active wear), shoes, perfume, furniture & menswear are on the 1st floor (mall entrance). Returns are also on the 1st floor. Women's dresses, suits, intimate ware and swimwear are downstairs with the kids' clothes. Kitchenware, bedding, household goods is upstairs. Ladies Fitting Rooms There's one fitting room that's large and well lit (with a long line if there's a sale). The other fitting rooms are the dark and the size of broom closets! Also, the mirrors in the tiny fitting rooms are obstructed by a built-in seat. Sales A month ago there were Last Act sections in every dept. where you could get brand names like Ralph Lauren & Calvin Klein for rock bottom prices! Ex. dresses marked down from $180 to $25. Now the racks are few and far between, the discounts aren't as steep & they are final sale. Macys now has a few racks of cheap, off-brand clothes for $13.99 and $21.99. Look out Ross, you've got competition! Returns 90 days on most merchandise, 30 days for Backstage (a cheap area in the basement at Lenox that reminds me more of a knock-off Marshalls). Last Act returns just went from 60 days to FINAL SALE. Macys Card An AMEX which can be used anywhere. Spending = $10 Macy's gift card rewards. Gift cards never expire & if you spend enough they'll mail coupons (exclusions apply). But if you're a minute late on the bill they won't hesitate to call the debt collectors! In short, Macys used to be a less expensive alternative to Nordstroms. But at the rate they're going, I hope they stay open. Macys needs to hire more staff & make all merchandise eligible for a return like every other dept store.

I was shopping for dresses over the weekend and decided to stop in Loft. I have never shopped here…read morebefore but figured I'd check it out because all of my friends LOVE it. I found a dress, tried it on, decided I'd like to purchase it. Only problem was they only have one in my size and it was damaged. I asked a sales associate to check the other stores to see if one had that same dress in my size undamaged. First they called Lenox, then Atlantic Station. They couldn't do anyone to check on the item. They then offered to order the item. I didn't need the dress right away so I was fine with it. Then they hit me with the "Do you want to open a store credit card today?" My answer was "No thank you." I don't need a credit card for a store I never shopped at before. The associate started to get a bit of attitude and informed me I would have to pay shipping because I do not have the store card. I thought this was ridiculous and decided to pass on the dress. Overall I was disappointed in the level of customer service at this location. I get that stores have policies but making a customer pay shipping on an item that they cannot get in the store because it is damaged is ridiculous especially at the price point they are selling. Next time I pass a LOFT store in the mall I will probably pass.
