This place is a small little shop on Buford Highway. Blink and you'll miss it. However, inside is a treasure trove. DP is a liquidator of electronics and associated accessories (cables, cases, you name it.). They take tested used returns from major retailers (most I saw were from Best Buy) and make sure they work and then resell them. These guys have tons of flat screen TVs, stereos, hookup cables, and have been known to get a good deal on a refurb Apple MacBook from time to time. They have air conditioners, Bluetooth sound bars, and even Nintendo 3DS power adapters. iPhone chargers (offbrand) cost me 10/$10. Even if they break more often, that's still a great deal. If they don't have it, ask them. They'll take care of you. The handful of times I've been in there, they have been super nice. read more

I saw an ad on Craigslist for a new-in-box 27" Apple Cinema Display for $700 ($300 off retail, $150 the Apple refurb price). It seemed fishy, but I decided to make the half hour drive to Norcross to check it out. The store is inconspicuously located on the side of Buford Hwy, and I missed it the first time. From the outside, it looks a little sketchy. Although I didn't really take a look around, they seemed to have a decent amount of inventory. After I asked about the monitor, they showed it to me, unboxed it, and plugged in one of their macbooks to show me it was working. I'm not entirely sure if it was brand new (i.e., had never been opened before), but it didn't seem like it was a used product - the box was intact and the monitor had been packed properly. I asked the sales guy how they got this kind of stuff, and he said it's mostly Best Buy returns. I noticed that they had a lot of products from Insignia, the Best Buy store brand, so this seemed to match up. Anyways, I bought the monitor, and here I am (about a month later). I got a fantastic monitor at a great price. I can't really complain! read more

We recently bought a TV stand from here and I can't say we have a complaint. It was half off of retail though we did see it on sale at walmart for around 20 dollars more. The stand that we got was new as far as we could tell. The box was all taped up as this was a 3rd party sale so we knew the table had been on it's share of adventures even if it had never been built. They have a variety of items for sale from electronics to furniture. I can't be sure how "used" the electronics were but they did have a decent selection of tv's blu-ray players and speaker systems. It is a bit of a drive from where we live but it was a fun little journey and the end results are good. If you see their adds on Craigslist don't be shy they are not scammers as far as I can tell. read more

I bought a harmony remote from DP's. Found them on craigslist and then called to see if they still had it. They did. Drove out there and they opened the box for me, charged it for a few minutes, and then let me play around. Practically brand new. The box had been opened before but everything was there, and they made sure to check over it all before selling it to me in order to make sure everything was there. Home now, works great. Great deal! Only downside with this place is the schlep out to Norcross from metro Atlanta. There's a 7 day full money back warranty and a 90 day exchange/credit warranty. No risk at all. read more

I remember when I first saw their advertisements. I thought it was some sort of scam. Let me tell ya, it wasn't, not by a long shot. These guys are super nice and the prices are ridiculously low. It's like going to a Ross, but for electronics. They answer any questions that you have and are very knowledgeable about what they sell. The tv's that I've purchased are top brands and nothing wrong with them. I hope they stay in business. I'll put these guys against any other 3rd party reseller in Gwinnett County. Literally. I was (and still am) so please with the purchase of my previous 32" TV that when it came time to replace my 55" guess where I went? I kept a close eye on the competition's prices from Black Friday through Christmas but I never say *the deal* I wanted. So I went back to DP's (where they remembered me) and told them I wanted a 55" Vizio, Wifi, apps, 240hz, Bluetooth, the best they could find. $800 later they were plugging it up in the store to test it and I took it home at 1/3 MSRP. Now, once I got it home and set it up, something went wrong because it wouldn't come on...to their credit they opened it up while I waited and replaced several electronic components on the spot. I went there to purchase a tv and was told I could register it with the manufacture to get the warranty. After doing research on Samsung website I found that they would not cover this under warranty because it's used and has been refurbished. I purchased a projector screen on 9/24 that was advertised in the store as being 102".  I did not have room in my vehicle to take it home that day and so, I returned to the store on Saturday 9/30 to pick up my purchase.  We got it home and measured it and found that it was significantly less than 102" diagonally.  I called back up to the store 20 minutes before they closed to see what could be done.  The gentleman I spoke with apologized and said that they measured the item and the spec too advise that the unit was 102".  Well, there is no model number on the unit (so I am unsure of how they determined it's model number, seeing as though it was unboxed), but since the only option he provided me was to bring it back for a full refund because they did not have another comparable screen to exchange it for, we opted to keep the unit and I hung up.  SECONDS LATER, the store called me back to offer me a discount off of my purchase, but the gentleman advised that the only person who could perform a refund without the card being present was not in the store at the time.  I told him to leave a message for that person so that when I called back, she would know what this call was in reference to.  I called to the store today and this woman told me "Ma'am....it was only $50...the most I could give you is $5, which is nothing... and even the measurement is not correct, we sold it a good price." (and she chuckled).  FIRST OF ALL, I did not ASK your company for a refund....I only EXPECTED you to sell me what you claim to have had available in your store and when you could not do that, I ONLY EXPECTED you to follow through on YOUR offer for a discount!  I told the woman to KEEP her money and I hung up.  My husband and I drove from Newnan to Norcross to do business with this company and I will never give them another dime or moment of my time.  Their customer service is TERRIBLE! read more
