I brought a vintage (40 year old) Micro-Seiki turntable that would not rotate at 33rpm. I also asked that he replace the ground and patch cords. He had it for 3 weeks and determined the feet on 7-8 transistors had "black foot" corrosion that made its way into the transistors requiring replacement. Quoted $300.00. I can buy a new turntable for that price! Prearranged to pick it up today, but he was on his way out despite our arrangements. Charged me $75.00 to look at it. He could have at least soldered on the new cable for that $75.00, but insisted on payment in full although nothing was done. He ONLY accepts cash! I would never recommend this shop to anyone He also lost my platter matt!
