When I returned, nothing had actually been changed. My phone still showed the exact same battery health (83%), and there was no system message indicating that any battery had been replaced. That was the first red flag. When I questioned it and asked the technician to open the phone in front of me, he refused and told me to come back the next day. That lack of transparency immediately made me uncomfortable. The next day, after insisting, the situation became even more suspicious. I was shown a battery that supposedly came from my phone, but it had specifications that didn't even match my device (wrong capacity, no Apple branding). That raised serious concerns about honesty and professionalism. At one point, when I stepped away briefly, the technician suddenly "completed" the battery replacement. This time, my phone immediately displayed a notification saying the battery was not recognized as genuine. That clearly showed that the previous visit, no replacement had been done at all. In the end, I requested my original battery back and had it reinstalled because I no longer trusted the parts or the service. Once reinstalled, my phone went back to showing the original 83% battery health, confirming that it was indeed my original battery all along. This experience felt misleading and unprofessional. A customer should never have to question whether a service was actually performed or not. Transparency and honesty are essential in this type of business, and unfortunately, that was completely lacking here. I would strongly recommend being cautious and asking to see the repair done in front of you if you decide to come here.

Here's my story: A few weeks ago, Wesley posted on our apartment community board about him starting his own business repairing phones. I didn't think much of it until, lo and behold, I dropped my phone moving stuff...Then, I dropped it AGAIN moving stuff for a photoshoot a week later. The screen cracks were atrocious. Eventually, I had given up on packing tape holding my phone screen together, and since it was also a work phone, my boss told me to "Get it fixed ASAP.". So, I messaged Wesley yesterday. Wes was all about getting it done when I texted him in the middle of his work day. He responded so quickly! No joke, I texted him around 3PM, and he was like, "Yeah, I'll get it done. I'll let you know when I can take your phone to fix it." Now, keep in mind, he is the only person doing this job, and he did have other phones he was working on, so I wasn't able to get in until 8PM, but y'all...It took less than an HOUR for Wes to fix it! So, after all was said and done...within an hour it was fixed!! That isn't to say everyone can get their phones fixed within an hour (I don't want to set that kind of expectation up for him as new entrepreneur), but it's been two days and the screen is A+. No new calibration needed, no wonky-ass stuff coming up, and my screen brightness is still the same (I'm weird about that) He may call you "Ma'am", but I highly recommend him! :)
