I had called to request a quote for some front facing camera water damage I had sustained to my IPhone. The owner reached out to me. Listened to my concerns. He gave me a reasonable quote and told me what to expect. What I loved most was that he was HONEST with me. He explained that fixing the water damage may not fix the FACE ID feature which was the primary reason I wanted my phone fix. I really, really appreciated that! The GPS took me to an unknown location so I don't know why that happens but when I called a representative from the store stated it's across the street from Varsity. The guy informed me it takes about an hour to fix the screen so I left and said I would wait for their call. Well in 20 minutes he had it finished! That was quick! When I picked it up it looked brand new. It was perfect I couldn't believe it. I wish I had a before picture but I forgot. In February I brought in an iPhone 6S+ for repair and was told it was irreparable -- the motherboard was broken.  So I purchased a used iPhone 11 Pro Max from Phone-A-Holics.  Except the motherboard on the 6 wasn't broken and I subsequently sold the 5 1/2-year-old phone for $96. I sell Medicare; this is my busy season.  Although the battery health was 85%, the phone ran hot and out of charge what I thought was much too quickly.  This is my 3rd iPhone -- I had a 3GS for four years and the 6S+ for four years.  I had replaced the batteries in each with no problems. After consultation, I instructed Phone-A-Holics to replace the battery. Not two weeks later the battery and the phone itself swell like a watermelon, cracking the protective screen. Phone-A-Holics accused me of overcharging it but did replace the battery and the glass. Well, five days into the next replacement battery, the phone has twice completely discharged -- from 96% to absolute zero -- in a split-second.  I called and was told "well we told you not to replace the battery."  So it's MY fault.  And guess what -- Phone-A-Holics said the motherboard must be broken! Those darned motherboards. The cause of every problem that Phone-A-Holics can't repair. I checked the serial number -- my 11 Pro Max was built in December 2019.   Rapid phone discharge can be caused by two things: failure to calibrate a new battery properly or upgrading an iOS. The second crash actually forced me to recalibrate the battery, and I had coincidentally upgraded to iOS 14.8.1 around the same time the battery was installed. Something about the "inner loops" on apps attempting to readjust. I didn't understand all that but you'd think Phone-A-Holics would. Anyway I upgraded again to iOS 15.1 last night; I hope that resolves the issue. read more

This place is great! My dad was visiting out of town and I accidentally dropped his iPhone 6 and it cracked pretty bad. The next morning I went to this place and the guys were able to get my dad's phone back in about half an hour and if you check in on Yelp, you get a free screen protector. It was raining and the manager even came out in the rain to tap on my window to let me know it was done - he didn't have to do that. And it only took 25 minutes! I brought in this iPad because the LCD was broken. When I brought in the iPad they charged me $150 to fix it and he told me that my screen was bent so he sold me a case to put on it to ensure that the screen will stay on. It was no more than a week when my iPad LCD screen went out again. This iPad was not handled roughly nor was it dropped. I brought the iPad back and was told that it cannot be fixed he will only have to charge me $150 again he gave me the option to buy a $200 iPad there is $150 on the Internet. Basically he charged me to fix an iPad that he knew would not last. If you have a broken LCD on your iPad do not get it fixed here. Instead of just telling me that it would not be able to be fixed, he fixed it anyway, knowing that the slightest thing would make it burn out again because of the bent screen. But when i tried to use it, it appeared that my front camera was broken, they somehow disabled my calling abilities and I was only able to speak on speaker phone, Siri was broken, and about a month later my screen popped out.
