What a terrible place to try to shop in person. What online says is in stock is so wrong. So spread out for no reason. Hard to find anything. A senior citizen was having trouble finding something and instead of walking them to where it was they attempted to yell instructions from behind the counter 50 feet away. Outside of the store looks great but inside is dingy and old. Lots of staff on the floor but no one trying to help anyone. want to take a moment to genuinely thank Sabrina for the level of professionalism and patience she showed during what could've been a very frustrating experience. I came in during rush hour to pick up an online print order, only to find out the system had crashed. On top of that, some of my files weren't printing properly. Sabrina had actually attempted to print them the day before, and instead of rushing the job or compromising the quality, she made sure everything was done correctly--even when it meant I needed to redesign and resend the files on the spot. Despite a growing line of customers and the pressure of a full print center, she remained calm, kind, and completely focused on helping me get exactly what I needed. That level of service is rare. To make it even more impressive--after all of that--I went to check out with some extra business supplies, only to realize no one was at the register. I waited for about 10 minutes, and as the checkout line grew, it was Sabrina who stepped away from the print center (where she was already juggling everything) to log in and help at the front as well. She truly went above and beyond. I left with everything I needed, but more than that--I left genuinely impressed by her commitment, grace, and care. read more

I went to the Office Depot on Stone Mountain Highway in Lilburn, Georgia just to print out a few copies of some papers I needed, I asked the young lady behind the counter. How did I go about doing this? But obviously, I interrupted her conversation with another employee And she didn't like it. I was given such vague instructions that I still had no idea how to go about completing my task. I stood there waiting for her to continue instructing me, but she just turned and completed her conversation with the other employee and just left me standing there confused. not wanting to make a scene I left and went to Staples on Hugh Howell Road and was given complete instructions. This store is efficient and staffed with incapable people. I went in simply to have a business card done. There were 10 words on it at most; The prices were written as 875 rather than $75. I went to correct it and now the prices were gone and something that was originally correct (my phone number) was no incorrect. I decided to get a refund. It was raining so hard outside but I still went into the store to cancel the entire order and as the manager, Pam, approached me at the slowest speed possible, she just barely looked up from her text messages to greet me and go to the register to complete the refund. read more

Back here again because my husband needed to fax a few documents. And as always it took about 30 mins, I walked around the store a few times looking at office tables that didn't impress me at all. My husband is 6'4 so I could just look in his direction just to see where he was in the line from wherever I was in the store ... His pace was really slow just getting to the counter. They only have one person working in the copy/print/fax dept so I do understand the wait, but at what point do they have standby's for extra help. Everytime I come on this place it takes too long just to get service. The only thing good about this visit was that the guy helping my husband was very polite and apologetic. I can say this will be the last time we go in here to fax anything.... We drove over to Walmart to buy a new fax machine :) read more

This location is the absolute worst. The customer service at the print area is a zero at best; these folks do not know how to communicate other than "I'm sorry ma'am". Like NO ONE knows anything!!! This is a pretty large store, although it could've been what I came here for (pencil sharpener) that made it seem so large.....nah, it's huge! This review is not against any particular store, but ordering items online at office depot. Please beware of purchasing online items that Office Depot gets from other suppliers. I ordered a computer bag/tote for my business. The item was received in the first week of Sept. 2021 but I was unsatisfied with the quality. I was provided with a return # and the item was picked up. I was also told after some time I was finally told that the item had been received back. As of today 10/31/21, I have still not received a refund. This is why Amazon is taking over because stores like this that you thought you could trust, can't do a simple thing like returns and refunds. Amazon has this process down pat. One start for customer service. The employees move at a snails pace. Literally! The business services where you print and copy is the worst. One person working the counter. He moves soooo slow. He doesn't greet the people in line or communicate. He can't multitask and see what else can be done while he plays around with the printer. He's pretty moody, in fact lol. I hate this place. And it's consistently like this. Management needs to have a more effective staff on the schedule. Then when it's time to go to the cashier, they are just as slow at working the line. read more

I placed a Presentation Print and Spiral bind order on Thursday, prior to confirming the transaction I called to confirm it could be ready by Friday PM and was told by the clerk that was fine. When I arrived on Saturday at 10:45 ish to pick up my print order, I was told by the store manager "Larry" that my order was not started, and he did not know when it would be ready. This did not sit well with me. I have to travel and depend on timeliness; I pressed Larry further on an exact time he indicated they were swamped in the print department (I'm the only customer in sight) he again refused to provide me a time. Pressing him again if so busy, what are the production measures for this simple print and spiral jobs. Larry advised me there would be (what I found as a ridiculous) a 6-hour window. Larry never apologized in fact Larry acted as if I was a total inconvenience and perhaps lied about my call to the clerk. Larry was surely and defensive the entire time, his voice infection conveyed a smug attitude, he even told me if I didn't like it I could take my print job elsewhere. Being in a bind with time restraints I was trapped with no choice but to accept this rude offer. I want to add this is the filthiest Office Depot or any store I have ever stepped foot in, and I said that as well. PIC's to follow. You could feel the nasty grit of the floor under your shoes; there was spilled drink on the floor in front of the customer service desk for who knows how long, and my significant other went to the men's room to find the urinal covered in urine and such filth the door was stuck to the floor and would not close. Office Depot is my "go to" store for office supplies and this location is especially good. They always have what I am looking for, there is always staff available to help if needed and I love their clearance section. Yea, so their prices are a tad higher than Wal-Mart but who can really say that they actually "enjoy" shopping at Wal-Mart?!? whereas I do enjoy shopping at Office Depot. read more

My printer was pretty much on its last leg so went online to look.. found one and decided to order them pick up at this store. Ordering was easy then got an email within 3 minutes to say it's ready for pick up. When I got there it was waiting for me at the register area. I was outta there in less than 5 minutes. I have had problems with shipping at this Office Depot MULTIPLE times. Certain employees were not helpful at all when I would ask for their help and were not very courteous. I shipped a birthday package this week and I was told it would be delivered by Friday, which was perfect because it was before my boyfriends birthday. Once I got home I automatically tracked the order online it stated that the package would be delivered on Monday. Very disappointed that the employee would give me false information and charge me to have it shipped on Friday when in reality it will be delivered three days later AFTER MY BOYFRIENDS BIRTHDAY TOTALLY RUINING EVERYTHING. The wait times are long, they never seem to understand what they are there to do, and the person that helped me today was totally rude (and I pointed that out to her). They also have been pretty inconsistent with what they charge me for the copy jobs - oddly enough, the price continues to go up each time and I get the same thing every time (good thing I found a coupon this time!)
