I try to make Dillards an annual stop because of their lingerie section. They have a decent section that is always neat and usually well stocked. They are one of the few places that still do thorough bra fittings. Ms. Deborah helped me today and she was so patient and kind. She measured me, listened to what I was looking for and came back with multiple options. She walked me through each option and made sure it fit well at all the key points. I found a few that were a perfect fit. They were also having a good sale so some of them were at least half off so it was a great deal! First and foremost, the store was clean and organized very well. The lights lit up the space very well . However, the customer service in the WOMEN SHOE DEPARTMENT is terrible! I came on a slow day. literally, there was only one other lady in the department with me, browsing at shoes, and it was 2 lady workers. They didn't acknowledge or even try to assist me. I was browsing for at least 5mins before I spoke up because (they gave all of their attention to that 1 customer) which is funny because I planned to buy 3 pair of the heels (that I saw online but didn't want to wait for shipping) Instead, I got 1 of their attentions to try on my size, then went online and ordered them myself :) read more

Omg.. RUDE!! RUDE!! RUDE!! The workers upstairs are exceptionally rude, unpleasant and unwelcoming. JEWEL ESPECIALLY. (Black woman with her hair in locs). She should receive extensive training if she is going to be working with the public in CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will find another location because ai refuse to be treated to poorly where I'm spending thousands of dollars. This Dillard's is a little disappointing. The store seems a small. The women's shoe department is on the small side as well as the fashion jewelry section. Unlike other stores, this location doesn't have a vintage designer collection. The customer service was nonexistent. Nothing stands out about this location. Definitely won't return. read more

I've shopped here several times before but first time writing a review. I specifically came in looking for a hat to wear to my Uncle's funeral. The inventory was slim to none. The 8 hats available looked more like old lady hats :). Just plain and outdated. After not finding the perfect hat , I looked around in the jewelry dept. Nothing caught my eye so I moved on. It wasn't very busy and maybe it was due to the time of day 1:30. The layout of the store is nice. The sales associates were friendly and visible for assistance. I shop... a lot. I'm a partner of a marketing/consulting firm, so I constantly find myself in malls, probably 2-3 times a week. It's so easy to write about bad experiences and overlook the exceptional ones, but the service I just received was so good that I felt obliged to find a bench after leaving Dillard's to write this review. I shop everywhere and often times its in the stores more known for customer service - Nordstrom, Saks, Neiman, etc. the service I just received at Dillard's was better than those. I spent more than an hour in Dillard's, with Cheryl helping me. I have a huskier build, so my sizing is tough. Cheryl checked in store and online for several styles I liked. Though we were unsuccessful, Cheryl never batted an eye. I ended up spending a measly $13 on a clearance belt, but the customer service I received was as if I just bought one of every item in the Hugo Boss section. Though I rarely stop at Stonecrest (my house is in Decatur, my office is in Buckhead), I will come more because of the service Cheryl provided. If Dillard's corporate is reading this, promote her! Her customer service was spot on and she would make an excellent customer service trainer or consultant to other employees. A+. Definitely a pleasant surprise on a lazy Saturday afternoon. read more

FIVE STAR SERVICE! Customer service was great today as the sales person not only escorted me to specific areas but also helped me to search among various selections for a specific item. I really appreciated her assistance although I did not find what I wanted. I really need Dillard's to start consolidating items in one section instead of requiring customers to go from collection to collection looking for a particular item. Why can't the casual and career dresses be placed in one section, the same for outerwear, etc.? Looking through all of the different collections can be exhausting! Also, if they are going to continue with the elevated prices, they will need to start using quality materials instead of acrylic and polyester. I don't mind paying more, but I won't compromise on quality. read more

dillards has one of the worst return policies of the larger retail stores. and...i found out today that if you place an online order and there is a subsequent price reduction, they do not honor the new price. even if contacted within a matter of days. needless to say, i will not spend my money at dillards...once my favorite store. read more

Yep...definitely the worst shopping experience EVER. From the time I walked in the store, signage was wrong, associates were not helpful. Just bad customer service all around. I made a purchase at the accessories counter and asked for boxes (it's Christmas after all) and she gave me 2; but, I had 3 items. Can I get another box?? She traipses off to find a box for the hat. That's on you because I asked for boxes for everything...not just 2 items. Odd. Then I asked for a gift receipt and she told me I "should have told her sooner." Really?!? It's Christmas, you should have asked. To which she responded, "well, yea." It went downhill from there. Called Dillard's customer service line to relay my dismal experience and try to get something corrected that happened in the store, only to be directed back to store management. I gave a detailed account to an Asst Manager who read back to me the details, only to have the Store Mgr call me at the time I said I would not be available, on the following day. I'm so over this piss-poor experience, I'm not sure when I'll have the energy to pursue corrective action. You've been warned. read more

This is my least favorite store and I'll never spend another dollar with them again! I recently purchased two items on the store adding up to $160-$180. I bought it for an event but never wore the outfit. Decided to take it back and the store manager told me I've had the item to long and there is nothing they could do. So I said you mean to tell me after 32 days I can't even get a store credit for my money? The answer was no! This just unheard of frfr! And I'll NEVER AHOP HERE AGAIN!
