On my first visit, I came in to buy candy and ending up browsing. And during that initial visit, I appreciated how many items this store has to offer and how well it's laid out. The patrons and workers take care of this store. I don't know how long it's been open, but it doesn't have the "tired" feel of most discount stores. And it's neat. Things aren't all piled up on each other in any random area; each section is separate and where you would expect to find something it's usually there. I didn't initially think of Deals as a "dollar store" but there are a lot of things that are $1. If I had kids, I come here every other month or so, give them $10 and let them go crazy. And if I were just starting out and not sure of what I needed, I would come here to buy dinnerware, glasses, etc. The prices are comparable to (and in some cases lower than) Wal-Mart and Target, so why deal with the parking and long check out lines of a bigger store? It is said to be one of the Top 10 Best Public Squares in the USA for three years in a row! I believe it too. Everytime I visit here I get the same laid back feel I always get. This square looks like a beautiful picture out of a book. There's plenty of space for kids to run around, nice shaded trees and picnic tables to enjoy a packed lunch or pick up a lunch from the quaint restaurants lined around the square. I was in the square years ago and they were filming a movie here. A lot of popular movies and shows have been filmed here throughout the years. I love that there are good quality places to eat, all in one area within walking distance and ice cream shops too. I also love how friendly strangers smile at each other and everyone is doing there own thing. Sometimes there's music playing throughout the square which makes it a double delight.

Located next to some other amazing stores, I usually go into Ross for a number of items such as home decor and things for my dog. But for the most part, I visit Ross for their candles and because they're an Amazon pickup location! Getting packages where I live can be a pain sometimes and love that this is an option vs. getting a PO box or something similar. All I have to do is have my order shipped here, it's added to this fancy locker system and I unlock it with my phone. Easy peasy! Once completed, I go about my shopping experience. The lines can be long sometimes depending on the season and time of the day, but the employees are quick and helpful when needed. Always a great, cost-efficient experience!

A good amount of the staff members appear to not want to be at work at times . 75% of the time I do a pick up order I get an out of stock notification.
