Nino D, was so rude to me at the Brookhaven store. She checked me out for a top that I later had to return the next day due to the size being small. And once I came to her store she claimed that I didn't have the Marshall's tag for the shirt I bought even though I had the receipt and tag. She said shes never seen this shirt in her store and began to look on the clothing isles for the same item, and then when we both couldn't find the same item she checked me out for. Steve W the store manager was able to handle the situation but when asked for the route to writing a formal complaint he just provided me a customer service number on paper and slid it to me across the counter. This is one of my favorite Marshalls locations to visit. In my experience, they consistently offer the best deals compared to other Marshalls I've visited, such as those in Snellville, Mall of Georgia, and Duluth. It's interesting how the same item can be priced significantly lower here - for example, an item that costs $5 at this store might be priced at $10 at another location. Not sure why? TIP: If you do visit here, be sure to check the back wall to the right; they often have excellent clearance items in that section. However, when browsing clearance racks, it's important to double-check the tags, as items are sometimes misplaced and may not be marked down as expected. I visit this store regularly, and I find the staff to be friendly and helpful. Though the lines could move faster. Sometimes they have 10 people in line with only two registers open. That said, I would recommend avoiding weekends if possible, as those are typically the busiest times. As for the manager, I've had positive interactions in the past. Some reviews mention a less-than-ideal experience, but perhaps she was just having an off day. Or, who knows - maybe the situation was a bit of a two-way street. While waiting for friends to show up for a dinner meet up in Town Brookhaven earlier this evening, I spent some minutes in Marshalls. Marshalls is in a standalone building in the same parking lot as Costco, but they are separated so far from each other that their customers don't have to compete with each other to get spaces in the very large free parking lot. This location is clean and organized, and it's easy to find things. It didn't have a good selection of men's shoes, but the ones in inventory had great quality at very good prices. There was a wide variety of hemp products in the hair care section, so if you're looking for something that will help repair hair and encourage growth, you'll be able to find what you need here. The one thing that I can suggest is that if you see something at Marshalls that you want or need, buy it because it may not be stocked the next time you visit. read more

Rude service from manager. Their selection of clothes is good. I also understand that the business was near closing time(an hour out) and everyone wants to clean up and get situated to leave, however, the manager was so dry and rude and unpleasant and then took her time to come and assist me after she turned on her light and said she could assist me. My main reason for writing this review is Marsha, the fitting rooms attendant. Yes, her name is Marsha and she works at Marshall's... LOL! She is very friendly and helpful and after chatting with her for a little while, I felt comfortable enough to ask her opinion on a few things, as I was shopping on my own. The rest of the staff here is very friendly as well but they definitely have the right person at the fitting rooms! Overall the store is pretty standard Marshall's - a bit of a treasure hunt, always varying items. I definitely found a few nice clothing items here (haven't looked through the rest of the store but there's always next time). The location is kind of tucked back near the Costco in the shopping center. Parking was super easy right next to the store. read more

I really like that Marshalls has a separate section for "big and tall" guys, or as Thornton Melon would say, "tall and fat" guys; its competitors generally lump all guys together while maintaining distinct ladies' and women's sections. And Marshalls does a good job of keeping things organized, so all the items in a given size tend to actually belong there. There's more floor space for women's clothing and accessories than for men's, and there's only one dressing room for men, so if you're organizing a fashion-on-the-cheap outing with your best guys, keep it in mind. (Then again, if they look good in anything, the only problem is the dressing room.) Kudos also for a wide-ass range of sizes, and I chose my words carefully. Gentlemen who wear 4X or 5X will find some good-looking clothes, and there's lots more in the lower sizes, including tall sizes (which are interfiled, so a 1XT will be in the XL section). read more

Marshalls - Department Stores Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

Lately I have come to appreciate Marshalls - while these stores are not as big or as many collections for men compared with Macy's or Kohls, they generally have lot more brand names for cheaper price. This particular location is right next to LA fitness, costco - two places I visit often in any given week. But unfortunately because of this, I rarely find anything I want in my size - it gets taken very fast at this location. They have small section for men and bit larger section for women. But that's not as much disparity as what you would see in other departmental stores(Some Macys have two full floor for women and a section for men). They also have a rack for 'Tall' and 'Boys' section. But what I like to shop at this location is Sandals and shoes. They have brand name Sandals and shoes for cheaper price compared to Aldo or even in Macys. They even have swimming gears tucked in a corner. What I didn't expect to find at Marshall was some rare condiments! yeah, you heard me right - they have one small rack dedicated to condiments and cookies. These are not the ones you usually get at Kroger or publix(atleast not every branch). I found Avacado oil here - last time one of my friend needed this, he had to order from Amazon. This one was cheaper than that(same brand). Also, I found several gluten free cookies and some coffee flavored shortbread which I served in a party that everyone liked. So that's the thing about Marshall - you never know what you will find there. Some of the items who usually don't expect to find there, for usually cheaper, will surprise you. Marshall's is the kind of store that is in the same class as Ross. They are discount department stores that carry name brand clothing and home furnishings among other things. I tend to come here to shop for shoes and maybe find some home furnishings. My experiences shopping for the most part are mixed because depending on the location. Some locations are small, while others are large; some are run down and poorly run with hardly any thing in my size. Some are ok depending on when you come. This location in Brookhaven however is one of the better that I have ever visited. It was larger than normal, and while they did not have a good variety of sneakers here, they did have a lot of nice clothing. It's still a good place to come occasionally, but I would probably not shop here unless I was in dire need of something and it was conveniently located. read more

I love Marshalls (amongst all of the other bargain stores). This particular store is clean (since it's relatively new) and sells to the local population. I have been several times but was upset this last visit because there were too many things I wanted to buy. They had some cake pop bakers' kits which I was really tempted to buy. This location also had cookie and cake decorating supplies. Is this a new fad that is coming in and all stores have? Honestly, I haven't seen them sold at others. Considering the local population is yuppies and wealthy people, it makes sense. One comment I have is that the parking directly in front of the store seems small, but it's in a large shopping plaza so I guess we can't really complain too much. I can't remember the last time I set foot in a Marshalls before today. But I was in the area, and my pay check was burning a hole in my pocket. This is a brand new store and beautifully laid out. The displays and mannequins are so thoughtfully outfitted that it makes this location seem like more of a department store than a discount store. The clearance section was a little lackluster, but I still scored some good deals in the regular priced merchandise. The selection was geared heavily towards work wear, which was fine by me, as I scooped up several tops that will look great under suits (for under $25/each) and a cute summer blazer. The racks were literally bursting with clothes and I had good luck finding the same items in a variety of sizes, a rarity for these kinds of stores. The home goods section was also equally well stocked with small pieces of furniture, quality bed linens, and home accessories. The only thing they were missing was jewelry/accessories. Even though it was a busy Saturday afternoon, checkout was a breeze thanks to their European style queue system. read more

A very clean store with a lot of clothes. They have a small section with Braves gear that I like. Outside of that, it's a smaller Marshall's store but if you like bargain shopping, there is definitely a lot of deals you can find. It's very clean and the staff seems good about keeping it clean. I've been going to this Marshals since the grand opening, like any other Marshals things get disorganized, broken things or missing pieces stuff gets marked off. It has been very hard to find a matching set of plates or cups, I can find 3 but where is the 4th? But it's like visiting Tuesday morning, during lunch time I visit here to see if I can find something interesting, I buy all my coffee here, all the gourmet coffees are average $5 a bag, and great place to find gourmet teas, cookies, spices and cooking oils. I wish they spend time to tidy up the place, first impression is always important. read more

My first time at this location. Recently relocated from Chicago, I must say this store is just "okay" in terms of the merchandise that's carried. They did have a nice selection of assorted natural soaps and shampoos. The clothing and handbag area seems EXTREMELY dated and overpriced although it seems like that's the running theme in this area. Perhaps it is this particular Marshall's location however the store front is situated in a very chic little shopping center so I essentially expected a lot more from the merchandise. The one plus I can say other than the soap selection is that the staff members are extremely friendly and very helpful which is definitely nice! read more

I had an issue with a piece of merchandise that I bought from about a month ago. Not knowing if Marshall's could do anything, I figured I would at least go in and try. I spoke to Marvin Abel, the manager, and he completely helped me out and ensured that I was reimbursed for the purse I bought and gave me full store credit back. I honestly went in fully expecting for them to just laugh and say tough luck, but was very pleased and shocked by the professional service I got.
