Saks has gone all the way down the hill. The online customer service team is garbage. I placed two separate orders, both which never got picked up by the carrier, nor did I receive a refund in a timely fashion. It took 3-4 weeks to get a refund for an item that was never shipped. This should be settled much faster than that. Nordstrom delivered the same item within 4 days no issues. I'm guessing off 5th is using customer money and making investment and then refunding a MONTH later. I'll never shop with them online again read more

Dont try to return something! first they litearlly charge $20 to return items via Fedex ($9.99 for shipping and $9.99 to handle/receive?!?) Yes its on their website but I bought through a stylist and even they were not aware of this terrible practice. Its 2025 - returns should be free and easy via Fedex/UPS/USPS especially from an expensive company like SAKS - take a lesson from Nordstrom on customer experience! Also forget about actually getting your refund - I have confirmation my item was received on 8/7 - I still do not have my refund, contacting SAKS is a black hole with no result. I had to open a dispute on my credit card to get this handled. Will never, ever shop at SAKS again. Nicely located, very large store with lots of parking. Huge selection, and this year I did most of my gift shopping there for the holidays. You need to know sales dates, that helps, and I am a subscriber so I get emails on all store trending news. I didn't have to wait until Black Friday either! It is much nicer now than it was couple of years ago as far as organization and customer service. They carry previous season's fashions and excess inventory that didn't sell in their flagship store, Saks Fifth Avenue. These items are then sold here, Off Fifth, letting customers purchase designer clothes for less than the original price. Not sure why many reviews are so low, but many people only post reviews if generally unhappy everywhere. I enjoy shopping there. read more

Though I've tried a number of times, I've given up on this place. I've never really found anything I'd even consider taking up to the register. There's not much here in the way of attractive or timeless womens clothing or shoes. Though I have seen some nice things in there, they've been few and far between, or maybe I just couldn't find the 'good stuff' because the place is often an unorganized mess. But I have seen some cute stuff if you happen to be a size 4. Seems like most of their inventory is over the top trendy (but on its way out) or just plain ugly, IMHO. This location is much better than the one in Charleston. It's huge and organized. They have a ton of handbags. The women's shoe selection is great. They have great selection of jewelry. You can find some great deals--while other items are still pretty expensive. read more

This is becoming like a shop of horror! Customer service is so subpar with cashiers that seem part of a factory line, no smiles or hellos. Can someone please give them free Powerade? Tried to return shoes, but not with their antiqued 30-day policy. Amazon does a better job retaining customers, it's your product yah? The lines at times are long with hungry shoppers waiting for service like a fast food joint gone blah! I bought online shoes that are part of Saks brand or flagship stores. I tried to return but seem like a litigation case. My advice? Drop the manager, hire friendly cashiers and give them incentives. If you like left over designer junk no one wanted at regular and sale prices this is the place for you. Many of the items in this store were sold at the same price if not less at Saks itself. There are racks and racks of 'leftovers'! The upside, if you like designer sunglasses you can find Gucci, Prada, Kate Spade and Ray Ban at a reasonable price. I was able to get some really cute GUCCI sunglasses from the 2017 season for $104.00. On the internet the cheapest for that pair is $170. So that was the one highlight of this store, for me it was the only highlight! read more

I ordered from your store on July 14, 2023 and it was supposed to be delivered on July 21, 2023. Of course that didn't happen nor did the tracking system update with new information. On July 24, 2023 I received an email from Off Saks 5th stating the package had been delivered. I looked all over and even went to the mailbox looking for this package and of course it wasn't there. Surprised, nope! I immediately contacted Off Saks 5th to report the problem. I was told they had to reach out to the carrier to find out what was going on. The next day the rep from Off Saks 5th advised me that the carrier stated they still had the package in their possession and it would not be delivered because it was deemed by them as damaged.  I requested a refund of my money since I wasn't going to get my package and here is where the BS and very painful lack of customer service starts. I was told that Saks needed to submit a claim in order to have my money refunded. What in the HE** do I care about what happens outside of me getting my money back. I was also told that the process would take 3-10 business days for the investigation (which was already completed and documented) and 3-5 business days for a refund.  The customer services agent Kori reached out to the carrier and was told that the package was damaged and is not able to be delivered and will be returned back to Off Saks 5th. I am confused as to why I am being inconvenienced when it comes to getting my money back. You have tied the hands of your management to make the customer whole and forced them to deal with anger and frustration of the customer when most things can be easily resolved like my case. Open and shut because you have documentation/emails that the carrier still has the package.  Unfortunately, this process has been very painful and has turned me off from ever shopping Off Saks 5th again.  I am a very lucrative shopper and I will take my money elsewhere so that I don't have to deal with your archaic refund policies.  Very disappointed and frustrated customer. read more

I have been shopping here in off Sak's for over 7 years and more but this one here in particular in buckhead loop. I recently 10/05/2022 on a Wednesday at 5:24 pm had picked up a couple of sweat suits while shopping there and went to the counter to make my final purchase and asked the woman ( sales clerk) if she could locate me a larger size in one of the sweat shirts I was purchasing. The whole time she was laughing and really not paying me any attention when I asked about locating a larger size in the system and when she finally looked at me while still giggling at I don't know what she said told me no I can't locate anything for you you can do it on your own. I then said wow that's funny because I shop here all the time and even have a sak's card and a sales clerk has always located me items in the past where I can have them just ship me my items to my address. She told me well then you must know my job better than I do. I then said no but I've probably been shopping here longer than you've worked here. With her still laughing in my face I asked can you at least give me the item numbers son I can at least order this sweat shirt and she rudely said no you can look it up yourself. I then said wow this is strange from you guys at Sak's I usually can order straight from here and get it delivered to my house and the sales clerk still giggling told me you can find it and order it your self from your phone while you wait here. Overall she was very rude not professional at all and shouldn't represent a huge company like Sak's. I own 4 companies and as an employer and a project manager professional I would never have a employee treat a customer the way she did. It makes me want to never shop there again. And I'm not a chronic complainer but this blatant rudeness and disrespect hit me in a different way. At the end I just said here, take all the items I was going to purchase back and told her you need to do your job or get out of the way of someone else who takes work more seriously. This is the worst experience I've ever encountered from a Sak's employee / representative. I had an extremely bad shopping experience yesterday because one of your employees in Georgia Buckhead location discriminates their customers. Yesterday 7/4/2017 , We spent over $800 here. Before we walked out the store, a girl, who is one of your managers (black tall long hair with jean jacket, announced on the store speaker about store closing announcement), was standing at the front door extremely warmly greeted to the white lady in front of us. We were just several feet after that white lady, so I could clearly hear their greeting conversation. When we walked out, we were smiling and ready to greet this girl too, however, she suddenly acted like there was nobody in front of her with a cold face. This was extremely hurt to us! So I spent my money here and I got treated with no respect compare to this white lady. If there was nobody besides us and she didn't greet us, I probably thought it was fine since I couldn't expect more in a discount store. Apparently, I strongly felt the difference. Why did she treat us differently? There is only one answer that could make sense is "We as Asians are being discriminated against at this store"! This is not okay! This is completely unacceptable!!! I could not think about any reason why she was acting like that to me. The only time I had interaction with her was that I wanted to purchase a handbag that was locked on the shelf. I could not find anybody around us who were available to help us to unlock this bag. It was almost to the close time and everybody was busy. So I took a sticker that has a barcode from the handbag, it was not sticked on the bag, is was just placed inside of it. I took this sticker to the front check out clerks and asked if they could help me to unlock so I could buy it. She and another girl refused to check out for me and told me I need to find the clerk who was able to unlock this bag. If I could find a person who was around and being able to help me, I would not bring this sticker to the front. Plus, She and another employee were looking at me like I was a dumb. If this was the reason, then it was not my fault, but the store's fault! Because when I needed help, I could not find anybody! Plus, she changed to that cold face expression so naturally I could tell she did the same thing a lot times to other people like me. So, I have a question. Does sakoff5th train your employees to treat customers by how they look, or even worse, by race??? I will not come to this location ever, ever, again. And so neither do my family and my friends! I want to like this store sooooo bad because I know it has great designer clothes and prices. But it's basically like a high end Ross at the end of the day, all day. Nothing is ever searchable, the store is a hot mess everyday, and I can never get assistance. I know they are understaffed, or the staff just doesn't care. The last time I was there the young man ringing me out said it was just him closing that night because 3 people called out! I'd rather take the extra 45 minute drive and go to discover mills than to this store. I really hope they get it together before they end up having to close. Terrible customer service! I recently had a birthday and a big group of friends all chipped in to buy me a lovely purse from this location of Off5th. They live out of state and forgot to leave the gift receipt. I went in a week later to try to exchange it, with the dust bag and tag still on. The manager said they are required to verify an actual purchase for an exchange. I gave them the names of the people who contributed, but after almost 30 minutes standing there, when they couldn't find them in the system, the manager wanted me to know their ZIP codes to check against credit card transactions???? Seriously? I have a $250 bag that I want to exchange, the originally purchased item is still in salable condition. But because the gift I received doesn't have a receipt and I can't give you 8 people's zip codes, I can't exchange it????? I am 30, young professional, spend way more money than I should on clothes and accessories. I am Off 5th's target audience. But I will never return to this store because they wouldn't treat me like a valued customer. read more

UPDATE: Another great experience... Fitting room attendant Benandre Oates showed me how to use my Saks card online for purchases! I didn't understand how to do it since Saks doesnt have a exp date or security code. I got her name because another lady was in the fitting room asking for it when she helped her order something in her size. Resulted in $$$ online shopping but good for Saks Previously posted on Google : I just left this location and again was ecstatic over the selection and brands you don't see much of in other locations (have to roll the dice for fit online) . There was a good selection of Robin's Jeans and Eleven Paris and a lot of "Street" which most retailers don't offer in Nashville. When the Toys R Us closed in the Buckhead Loop shopping center I wondered what would replace it I noticed the new store Off 5th - Saks Fifth Avenue while across the street at the ATM and decided to stop by. They are well stocked with items and staff. Overall they have good deals on items. I was surprised to see items in the clearance sections (shoes) considering they opened in the last few weeks. We mainly looked the handbag section (right inside the door) and shoe section (this is 1/3 of the store!). Large variety of brands and pricing. There were quite a few employees in the store for a Friday night and shoppers. I interacted with several employees and all were friendly. You can tell some of the cashiers are still training. While checking out, I was asked if I wanted to join their free Insider Access rewards / benefits program. This program gives you extra savings with special promotions and offers, sales alerts, and new item alerts. With Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx, Old Navy, Bed Bath & Beyond, Ulta and the more in this shopping center... this is a lovely addition! read more

At checkout, while we were spending $1,700 here at this store. It was the most unappreciated $1,700 we've ever spent at ANY store ever. The cashier looked like she didn't want to be there at work, no smiles, no conversations with us. There were things that we picked out that once we got to the register we examined it and saw some stitches were undone and not neat, one pair of shoes that I picked out had some scratches on it and we asked if any deductions could be added since there were blemishes on those items and She made it almost felt like we were beggars trying to get discounts. The face and vibe she presented after we inquired about it made us felt uncomfortable and I almost wanted to ask her if she was standing on our side of the situation would she have wanted the same thing for herself versus paying full price for an imperfect item that she was going to spend $300-400 on? We walked upstairs to TJ Maxx afterwards and felt a major difference. People were tending to us and offered if we needed a cart since they saw us holding tons of clothes, also they asked if we needed help finding anything throughout our visit. Found my favorite pair of True Religion jeggings here today. This was my first time shopping at the store ever and I had a great experience. Every single person who was working in the store today made a great impression. I was greeted from the moment I step in there. The sales people were more than accommodating and checked up on me with every step of the way! I even had someone walk me to show me where the restroom was- when other places I go they just point you in that direction. The dressing room staff was extra nice..and some staff were even giving out complimentary water for an event. I definitely will be returning. read more

Bought a pair of sneakers, turned out to be different sizes. Didn't realize it until a week later, tried to return it. Spoke with the store cleark who constantly relayed information - my name, address, phone number, credit card number - to her "manager" through thier little intercom. After 45 minutes of general incompetence and frustration I was met by the General Manager, who immediately bagen to lecture me on their "policy". As if I - a middle-age professional and father of three kids - would engineer a situation involving two brand new shoes of differing sizes JUST to con Saks out of $30. Really, now. Brick-n-mortar retail must be a great business to be in, since they can get away with horrible service, blatant condescension, and overt incompetence. THIS is why I usually shop Amazon, Zappos or similar.. A special mention is owed to Beverly Wiseman, apparently the General Manager of this store for the past year.. about the period it's been open and the bad reviews started (Coincidence?). Consider a differnt career. Something that doesn't require you to interact with people. Or solve problems. Or think too much. I went there twice - first time I bought 250$+ and the cashier did not give me a coupon. After i remind her, she handed it to me like I begged her to do so. Second time, I picked up a pair of shoes. Purchased a shirt last night and cashier "Chester" didn't remove the security sensor. Drove back this morning 30 miles round trip, waited for over 5 minutes at the front cashier station without noticing a single employee. Got so desperate, I was leaning over the counter trying to figure out how to take the security sensor off myself. Finally, someone from across the store sauntered over and removed the tag. There was no communication from this lady at all. Don't expect, "I'm sorry you waited so long or had to drive 30 miles out of your way". Customer service sucks. read more

Check your items before purchase. Both shirts I bought had defects, discovered only after tags were removed and packed for trip. One had a small hole in the shoulder and the other a pull in the fabric. Neither noticeable with a quick try on, but noticeable later. Just annoying. Doubt they will take back without tags.
