In general, she says she always finds something that's good quality and a good value, and customer service is good. She described Nordstrom Rack as, "like a higher-end T.J. Maxx." Some examples of items she's purchased here include Stuart Weitzman shoes (her wedding shoes; they're beautiful), Madewell sweaters and T-shirts (lots of T-shirts), a French Connection sweater, a Theory dress (one of my favorites; she's worn it to my company's holiday party and to one of her company's events), and NEST New York scented candles (they smell good). Another reason she likes Nordstrom Rack is because she can return both Nordstrom Rack and regular Nordstrom items. Convenient. During our last visit, employee Marquis was fantastic. At checkout, my wife didn't know her Nordstrom credit card expired. Marquis got her on the phone with someone who helped her take care of everything. She was still able to get her Nordy Club points and Notes (loyalty rewards). This Nordstrom Rack is located in Buckhead, just off Georgia 400 Exit 2, near Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza. It's in Buckhead Station, a two-story shopping center. On the weekends, Buckhead Station gets crowded and there are longer lines at Nordstrom Rack. During peak times, I suggest parking on the lower level where there is plenty of parking and no congestion. This Nordstrom Rack opened in 2010. It's the only Nordstrom Rack inside the perimeter.

No one is allowed to come into the dressing room with you either, so if you're shopping with a friend and don't want to walk out into the main area every time you want them to see how something fits, you're basically out of luck. For a brand selling fitted dresses where a second opinion is often helpful, that setup feels unnecessarily restrictive. The store has a good selection, but I also think the clothing is overpriced for what it is. There are some cute pieces, but nothing felt particularly unique or special enough to justify the pricing for me. If I were desperate for a dress or needed something last minute, I could see myself going back. Unfortunately, once I was passed off to the dressing room, the experience completely changed. The staff was rude, condescending, and made me feel extremely rushed. I ended up purchasing two dresses because I couldn't decide between them and didn't have time to keep trying things on. I was checking out at 6:56, so I completely understood that they were about to close, but I still expected to be treated with basic courtesy. And i definitely still should have time to decide. While checking out, I was told they had "fresh" dresses coming from the back. Since I had a wedding in two days, I wanted to make sure they were good because they were different from the ones i tried on in the dressing room. So, I asked to see them before purchasing it. One of the dresses was visibly wrinkled at the bottom, so I asked if they could steam it. They said no, so I asked to purchase the one I had tried on from the hanger instead and was given a hard time about that as well. They ended up giving me the one on the hanger that I had originally tried on and the second one from the back. I spent over $700 here, and for that amount, I expected much better customer service. I completely understand wanting to close on time, but there is a difference between being ready to close and making a customer feel like an inconvenience. The first associate was wonderful, but unfortunately, the rest of the experience was extremely disappointing. UPDATE: GOT HOME AND TRIED ON THE DRESSES AND THE DRESS THAT THEY SWITCHED OUT FOR ME HAS A HOLE FORMING AT THE BOTTOM ZIPPER AND THE SEAMS ARE UNDOING. I NOW HAVE TO GET OFF WORK TOMORROW TO GET A NEW ONE AND DEAL WITH THIS BEFORE MY FLIGHT TOMORROW. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. SO BASICALLY THE "NEWLY PACKAGED" DRESSES THEY TRIED TO GIVE ME WERE ACTUALLY BOTH DAMAGE AND USED. I CAUGHT ONE OF THEM BUT COULDN'T TELL WITH THE OTHER UNTIL I TRIED IT ON AGAIN AFTER I GOT HOME.
