Can we add a star? Veronica's Attic has been somewhat of a mainstay in my family for years. A special Atl based cousin turned one of us on to those super cool, lacy ankle socks and it was a wrap. Several of the women in my family (only the cool ones) wear 'em. I was "initiated" into the sisterhood of Veronica's several weeks ago. Lemme tell you...you will want EVERYTHING in this funky, eclectic, very beautiful boutique. The fabulous owner Cecily is warm and inviting with great flair and sense of style. There's a cool blend of classic, funky and hip pieces. Cecily has managed to collect and feature clothing, jewelry and other coolness that seriously appeal to a WIDE variety of style, tastes and palates. I wanted everything in that store! My FAVORITE consignment store in Atlanta; I never leave without a bag full of great finds. Everything is in good condition and close to new as you can find at a consignment store. Have brought several friends here and they agree! Owner and staff are always friendly and you'll find no "snobs" here which is why I keep coming back. The owner makes me feel like she appreciates my business and that shows via her friendly staff and comfortable, down-to-earth, shopping experience. It should be more like Veronica's closet (and not a walk in)! Very small place with overpriced items. You can find similar items of similar quality elsewhere. It has more products (oils, lotions, etc) than clothes. If you're nearby, it maybe worth checking out but don't waste your time driving here from another side of town, not worth it. read more

If I could give this store ZERO stars I would in a heartbeat. I was absolutely APPALLED at the horrific customer service I experienced here. I purchased $100+ worth of merchandise from this store, most of it being for my son who was about to be born. Some of the items I received were duplicates so I returned them for an $80 merchandise credit. At the time I saw NOTHING there that I wanted to use my credit for. About six after my son was born, I returned to the store again in hopes to find something with my credit- spent over an hour there with my husband and son with no such luck (thats unusual for me, but there was NOTHING I wanted!). Held on to my credit. Finally, returned for the THIRD time to use my credit and after finding some OK items, I went to the counter to check-out.. it had been THREE months past a year and they said that my credit was expired and I could no longer use it. The owner looked at me coldly and said there is nothing I can do. Literally, shell shocked I said, "yes you can, you are the owner, you can honor my credit!" She replied with a cold and firm no. I walked out literally in disbelief that she essentially had just STOLEN $80 worth of product from me, and they literally kept my credit slip as I walked out with my one year old in hand. I called her back after the shock wore off, she continued the trend of being unapologetic, would not let me get a word, then proceeds to turn the blame on me- saying that I was shouting at her and that I was never allowed back in her store and do not call her again- never did I ever shout at her, I was barely able to speak because she started on and on at the very beginning of the conversation with how she is a tiny business owner and no one else has problems with the policy... blah blah blah. She also ended our conversation by telling me to "take my bad attitude out on someone else"" WHAT! Ok, first off I don't have a bad attitude, secondly- if you had just been stolen from, wouldn't you be a tad upset as well??? She asked me to put myself in HER shoes- well, lady, can you try to put yourself in mine? She has absolutely no respect for the customer who is TRYING to support her small business. The merchandise I had chosen that day again, totaled over $100, so it would have been more than my credit was even worth and I would have actually given her small business money. Instead, I have walked away frustrated, disappointed and I most certainly will never be stepping foot in that cheezy, seedy, shady little place ever again. The number one rule in providing a service is the customer is always right!! The Customer service at Veronica's Attic is AWFUL. The owner would not honor a credit of mine that I received after returning some clothes. Yes, at the time I tried to redeem the credit it had expired. (Side note: how could cash expire?? Answer: it doesn't!) Anyway, my point is the owner was rude, condescending, arrogant, and very elitist!! I get that some people can only see the bottom line and do not give a crap about anything else; but, the owner would not even work with me to meet in the middle. Had a negative experience with the owner Cecily and it was very poor customer service. I had an expired store credit of over a hundred dollars and she would not honor a penny of it. It would have been helpful if the expiration date had had the YEAR on it, not just the month and day, and I would have been aware of actual date. Fashion-forward, tastefully funky and feminine--Veronica's Attic is my new first stop for gifts. I knew I loved this boutique when the owner's dog walked up to greet me. Aromatherapy candles, lotions, accessories, clothes, and a selection of gifts that you won't find anywhere else. Mary, Mary, quite contrary, I will have to respectfully disagree with your post. I just went to veronicas attic last week to buy a gift for my gf and not only found a plethora of great items, but was greeted by terrific customer service. A young girl working that day helped me put together the perfect outfits for my girlfriend. On top of that, the owner of the store was working and spent over 30 minutes with me to make sure my gifts were perfect (she had a memorable accent). I was extremely satisfied with the professionalism and quality service I was given. I would recommend veronicas attic to anyone who appreciates a store that goes above and beyond to ensure the satisfaction of their clientele. Not even ONE star!!!!! Went in to the store today. Tried to use a $30.00 credit I had. The owner very RUDELY stated she would not honor it because it was from '08. She said she didn't keep her records from 5 years ago. INTERESTING....the IRS makes everyone keep records for 7 years. A CREDIT = CASH. 5 years ago I made a transaction and paid for it. The owner put my $$ in the bank. The merchandise was returned for credit, but it was not honored, MEANING I PAID but got NOTHING in return. BAD, BAD BUSINESS!!!!! I am the customer and should be treated FAIRLY. This was WRONG!!!! I will NEVER walk in that woman's store again. TAKE NOTE: DON' T PATRONIZE that place. I visited Veronica's Attic in Sandy Springs on Saturday for the first time. This boutique is unique and is nothing that can be desribed with words...this one you actually have to see and feel to undersand. Every inch of it is filled with unique items and all the trinkets that a girl wants and needs. From the funky selection of designer jeans and clothing, to the cutest spread of jewelry, gifts and all kinds of accessories, to top of the line body and hair care products, I think I've found my new favorite hang out. The owner is absolutely wonderful with lots of spunk...her trendy shop is obviously an overflow of who she is. I was greeted with smiles and great interaction to help with my shopping experience and left with the hottest pair of new wide legged -high waisted Joe's that I can't wait to strut in! Veronica's Attic is literally the place I first think of when I think of a boutique and what all boutiques should be like. It's been around for a good amount of time. I actually first came here with my mom around when I was in middle school (like 10+ years ago?) because she brought her clothes to the consignment shop next door a lot. When she was at the consignment store, I would escape to Veronica's Attic and browse to my heart's content all the cute little trinkets, jewelry, beauty products, yoga clothes, regular clothes, scarves, hand made cards, candles, gifts, etc. I've gotten some of my cutest and most beloved hair clips and other jewelry from here and every single one of their well edited collection is to die for. They even had Seven for all mankind jeans here BEFORE they became popular. The ladies who worked here are also beyond friendly, I mean.. when I first came here wandering around.. I was in MIDDLE SCHOOL.. and BY MYSELF.. I don't recall ever feeling unwelcome! A truly unique and wonderful place that always smells like spa amazingness. And this is going to sound wierd, but I would buy clothes from here and keep sniffing the spa amazingness smell on it before I actually started wearing it... haha... anyway LOVE LOVE LOVE this place read more
