At first glance, this store might seem like a random place at Phipps if you've never been inside or heard of the store. However, I've been here to browse more than a couple times now, and somehow it's always during a massive sale (usually after Christmas). They are located right outside of Saks Fifth Avenue to the immediate left and sell the same luxury goods (if not more brands) than Saks. Today, I got my hands on a lovely Bottega Veneta crossbody bag that was HALF OFF. Yep - BV for half off. The entire sale section was half off - I don't have a large enough wallet to buy everything I wanted off that rack, but there were some good looking shoes and accessories to be found. The staff here was so nice to me that I figure I'd leave a review for a retail store,which I don't really do all too often. These men and women were helpful, attentive to my needs, really sweet, and very friendly, even though it was 8 minutes to closing time. Just dropped in here today and the entire store totally revived my hopes for finding a good boutique in Atlanta. I've been ordering online for the past 2 years because I felt like I couldn't find anything worth buying in the A. Aside from the expansive shoe collection, the clothing section is beyond amazing. They carry Comme des Garcons (some pieces from the main line, Junya Watanabe, & Tao) as well as some other Japanese labels that tend to fly under the radar even in New York, much less Atlanta. Some other lines I spotted were Lanvin, Balmain, Marni (lots & lots of Marni), Prada, Gucci, etc. As for the customer service, I've never encountered any of the scenarios the other reviewers have described. I've gone in there wearing both $600 Alexander Wang shoes and $20 vintage booties and received nothing but compliments both times. I LOVE Jeffrey Boutique and it's only my first time visiting, but DEFINITELY not my last. Firstly, the setup and displays are so easy to maneuver without being overwhelmed, very minimalistic and contemporary. They carry all the designers I love without being super loud and Gucci'ed out like a lot of the Atlantans I've encountered (sorry guys, I'm from Chicago and our style is not overdone, flashy and tacky). The sales associates were all wonderful and helpful, especially Vincent-who may be my new BFF at this store. They carry Celine, Balenciaga, Valentino, Chanel, YSL, Givenchy, Louboutin...but not the same selection at Saks and Neimans, they have the understated and classic styles that I love! My sister and I went to the Jeffrey store at Phipps (and yes, we were dressed decently though not to the nines) and one of the women working there stared at us and followed us around the store. When I looked at her, she finally said "is there anything I can help you with" in an extremely snobby way that really meant "please leave, we don't want your business". When I told her we were just looking and didn't need help, she continued to follow us around the store watching us like a hawk! We finally walked out of there because we were so uncomfortable and headed over to Theory instead. Is it really necessary for stores like Jeffrey's to behave like this? What can I say about Jeffrey? Being from NJ/NYC and having been had the ability to shop all over the world, I'm very leery of "malls". But I buy almost all of my shoes from this store. Not only is the layout/display clean and ideal but the selection is not trendy. It's very inclusive in offering a variety of styles. The selection tends to move at a good pace so I'm never bored with what they have to offer and I find myself visiting a few times in one week. They have the best sales imaginable and when you shop there regularly they offer you special little discounts here and there. For my birthday last month I was able to purchase a pair of Louboutin's for a little over $200. WOW! BUT I must say the customer service is less than average, as a whole. I have an AMAZING attendant that I shop with exclusively, Terrance, and he's everything I could ever want. He never pressures me into anything, he stays close but always gives me space. He knows my style and is just genuinely nice. NOW those other mofo's are far less wonderful. It is true that sometimes when I visit I am not dressed to kill because I was merely out running errands and got a shoe craving--but still! I'm far from a bum, even though that's how I've been received on more than one occasion by a flock of old, dry, overly-conservative, non-fashion forward employees who obviously need the commission! It's almost shocking at times; especially since I purchase 3-5 shoes monthly from Jeffrey. BUT when I'm a tad more dressed up, they scoff at how quickly I turn them all down ONLY to deal with T. Well, where do I start? I bought a pair of boots a week ago @ 50% off - still $500 something. They didn't work out with the outfit that I had in mind. So a week later, I took them back for an exchange or store credit - yes I know it's final sale, no return, most definitely! The sign says 60% off already. The sales person (he was very pleasant to assist me at first, then turned very cold after learned that I was looking for something to exchange, of course. Have you seen more pushing sales people than those in Jeffery? BTW, the one in NY Meatpacking district has more realistically friendly sales people) told me that I can only get today's price for the boots I was exchanging (I automatically loss additional 10% - yes, that's what I was told!). Anyway, at that point, I just wanted to get something and get out of there and NEVER, NEVER come back again! There are plenty of places to get designer shoes, unique styles, and most pleasantly, return them if you like. It's gesture from the store to welcome you back anytime! So far, Barneys CO-OP, Saks, Neiman Marcus are still my favorite places to shop and I go back to them more often than any other places... I went in this store on a Thursday and wanted to purchase a shirt that they only had a size S in but I really wanted the XS. They had the XS shipped in from NYC for another customer that was supposed to come pick it up by the end of that day Thursday. Later than day I was told that she would be in Friday or Saturday. I come back Saturday right at closing time to see if the shirt is still there and it was. I asked to speak with Stephanie and she inquired with the employee holding the shirt for his "no show" customer " (in front of me... verbatim) that "I am not letting that shirt go." All I could think to myself was "Wow." Not only was I unable to buy a shirt that was in the store... their hold policy which was generally until the end of the day or until there is a ready buyer was now extended to more than 72 hours. What kind of business allows their store employees to hold clothing items hostage in order to make an individual sales goal? Does it not make sense to make the sale and the business profit as a whole instead? I'm not upset that I had to wear something else or that I will have to order the shirt from a different store, I am disappointed that this store and it's employee believe that it is okay to hold items that have not been claimed for over 72 hours in hopes to make a sale when there is a guaranteed sale right in front of them. I was also told that if I placed an item on hold and someone came in and wanted it they would have to sell it so I'm not sure why this employee is able to tell everyone, including the managers, what he will and won't do at the expense of the customers and the business in general. Sales keep these businesses thriving, not the hopes of making a sale. read more

Jeffrey is definitely worth dealing with the parking issues of Phipps and I would actually have given it a 4.5. I love the specialty designers offered on the apparel side however I do wish they would offer more styles in my size. I also love their run of the mill premier designers because even though they have Gucci and Prada which you can find anywhere they do offer specific color options not found at The Gucci store or Saks. I would like to see more unknown designers like they have in their New York location. This is By far the most Important fashion destination in Atlanta. read more

This was the absolute worst experience that I have ever had with any retailer. On 04/01/17 I purchased a pair of "So Kate" Christian Louboutins as a gift from the Atlanta location. The next day I noticed that the shoe size is different from the size that's written on the box. I called the same day and spoke with a gentleman by the name of David. David instructed me to come back to the store to exchange them and that I wouldn't be penalized because this was an error on the store (he also said that this wasn't atypical). I went in today to exchange them and I was told that the shoe was not purchased from their location...even though I have a receipt!!!!!! It is extremely unfortunate that I now have to jump through hoops in order to fix a situation that wasn't even caused by me. As soon as we come to some sort of agreement I will never purchase anything from them again. Their level of customer service is extremely poor at best. I really HATE to say this but...I honestly believe that I was treated like trash just because of how I look. read more
