Looks can be deceiving! Upon entering there was a warm greeting. The selection of clothing was cute, however VERY OVERPRICED. As a shopper of fine clothing and expensive boutiques as well as inexpensive priced boutiques, this store's clothing does not qualify for the prices they're ticketed at. I tried on a few dresses but decided against making a purchase due to the quality of the material. Perhaps the owner should visit boutiques across the Atlanta area to research their prices and get advice on where to order quality clothing. read more

Meldora thank you for the quick response to the Yelp review. It is very unfortunate that you were not that quick to respond to me on Facebook. But instead you chose to remove the Reviews tab from your Facebook business page. You never approached me to assist me with trying on the dress. I asked for your assistance and then you left because I was on a Facetime Call with my friend getting her opinion of the dress. You never returned to assist me. Also if you were unable to take my call, you could have asked to get my phone number to return my call. It is very unfortunate that you would fabricate your response because you know you dropped the ball when you yelled across the room. I had a horrible first impression of this business and the owner Mel. I called the store to let the owner know I would come by to look at dress I saw on their IG page. I told her my name and she said that the only way I could secure the dress is to pay over the phone. I told her that I needed to try it on and I would just call when I am on my way to make sure the dress was still available. So when I arrived, I was greeted by Mel and let her know that I had called about the dress and was here to try it on. While I was in the fitting room trying on a dress, I overheard Mel telling a customer that the dress I was trying on was the last size Large in the store. To my surprise she yelled across the room to me, "Are you going to get that dress. I have a customer who wants to try it on." I was shocked and caught off guard because I still had the dress on. I responded I am considering it. She then said no rush. I felt as though my business was not wanted or I needed to make a decision quickly so she could get a sale. I took the dress off and walked it over to the inquiring customer, since I felt that it was who Mel wanted to have the dress. When I left the store, I decided to call on the phone so I could express my concern. A man answered the phone and I asked to speak to Mel. He asked my name and then he told me to hold on. But after being left on hold for over 3 minutes, I hung up and went to the business FB page and left a review. I now wished that I would have checked out the reviews on Yelp, so I have would have saved a trip. read more

This place is horrible. Some of the materials are very very cheap and thin. They have a Chinese/Vietnams mentality. What I mean by that is they don't do refunds or exchanges. So if you don't mine throwing your money away, then this is the shop for you. But I will never patronize this business again. The manager/owner is nice when taking your money,but if you want a exchange or refund she turns nice nasty real quick. The shop looks very nice, but don't be foolish. These clothes are a nightmare. I brought a dress there, I ordered online. Never wear it, try it on when I got it. Too big, and the material was cheap. Didn't like it. I just wanted an exchange. Nope. Didn't happen. Just stumbled upon this cute little boutique while walking. I was pleasantly surprised at the affordable prices and quality of the merchandise. It's small, but there is a lot to choose from. The variety in size was good also and there were some one size fits all options too. They have nice sized fitting rooms. It was well-organized and smelled amazing. The associate in the store, Tia, was very helpful and friendly. There is ample parking in the back and my total was $164 for a dress and a skirt. I'm sure I would have paid upwards of $400 for similar items in a department store. I am really looking forward to coming back to do more shopping. read more

I brought my fiancée here on her birthday. She was adamant about supporting this black owned business! I was so happy to oblige. The owner was so nice as she shopped; full of smiles and compliments. She chose a dress that she decided NOT to try on. And we left. Everything was pleasant. That night she put on the dress and I pointed out a very small hole at the bottom of the zipper. No defects in the fabric itself, just the zipper. She took it off and put it in the bag to return the next day. She went to return and ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE! The owner wasn't there in person. The girl working called the owner on the phone. You'd think that she was talking to a completely different person! The owner insinuated my fiancée wore the dress the night before and now was trying to return it. In addition to the girl working adding that the dress obviously appeared unworn, my fiancée explained "I sought out your business because you are black owned. I do NOT appreciate you of accusing me of trying to deceive you " Finally, the owner granted her a store credit. She left without using it...and never will. Now, every-time we ride by with family and friends and they notice the beautiful display, we tell that story. So instead of missing out on the small value of one dress, Bleu Hanger can miss out on future business and potentially new clients. Dear owner, please consider the value of QUALITATIVE information when dealing with customers, and consider what I spent on the dress a charitable contribution. read more

This boutique is refreshing to see in a time where most shops are closing. Trendy, affordable clothes catering to women with different tastes and body type. While you usually have to go far (Lenox or Perimeter Mall) for clothes that meet your needs, the location of this shop is a treat! Almost every time I walk in this shop, I see something I want.
