This location is near my home and I've gone in twice and will admit to finding my daughter a pair of shoes each time in the clearance area for around $9 or so, but haven't found anything for myself yet. As I wonder through the aisles today, I remember thinking that all the shoes looked more like work/church shoes and I am normally looking for play shoes. I work in retail, so I buy good shoes to stand on my feet and work in, but when its time to play...I am a stiletto kinda girl. This location is neat and well organzied, but then it should be since I would say that 80% of the merchandise is black or brown shoes. Here it is 3 weeks before spring & Easter, and I didnt see one pair of spring colored shoes or sandles. Everything was (AGAIN) black, brown, pewter, or gold. And when I say spring colors, I'm not looking for pink bubblegum gators or anything else ghetto related, but a nice pretty spring color shoe. I like to shop in my own communtiy, but sometimes I just really don't think that retailers pay any attention to what really draws people like me to a place that is close to home and carries what I like. There were two people working in this large warehouse(type) store at about 5pm on a Tuesday afternoon/evening and probably 6 people shopping all togehter including me. Yes there were lots of sales and clearence racks (more than usual) which makes me wonder if this chain of stores is on its way out. IJS...
