This is the place to go for any type of costume. And I mean any. Galactic, Roaring 20s, 70s. They have every kind of accessory and piece of clothing to make everyone swoon when you walk in the party. I was going to a masquerade gala and needed a mask and they have a wall full of em. I even lucked up on a $20 fur shawl to make my gown pop. The prices are affordable. The total for both was $46. Not bad. And I'll always have em in case I go to another themed event. The staff is very helpful too.

I make a point to stop In at Pyscho sisters whenever I'm in Atlanta. I usually find one or two things I want. I've only been disappointed once to discover an item I'd bought had a hole in it. They do not accept returns, and I was already in Florida by that point. I like browsing the second floor with decade fashion, but the good finds are always downstairs. I bought a lace motorcycle jacket here back in 2014 that could have easily been in the '80s part. They do cost a lot less than Florida period thrift stores [Ybor City's La France comes to mind].You won't always find what you are looking for, but if you don't mind looking through the rack you might find the perfect item for your closet.

Store isn't the cleanest. Good prices for the quality you get. Sells very conservative clothing and props.

Ask the Community - Psycho Sisters

Is it worth trying to sell vintage clothing to them ( mostly 50s and 60s?)?

Sorry loves; we stopped buying from the public several years back. This decision was a difficult one for us to make, but we have noticed the shift has given us higher quality items and lower prices.

They have things from Supreme/Off-White to a nice collection of vintage ATL 1996 Olympic windbreakers. Jiwantsclothes has something for everyone, including coveted sneakers as well. The most impressive thing about all of this is that the owner and employees go out of their way to add to their inventory everyday by shopping at other thrift stores and bringing back some of the best things they can find. This makes Jiwantsclothes a more specialized thrift store, you won't have to spend an hour looking through everything to find just one really nice piece. Another thing that cannot be overlooked is their prices. For the great selection of items they never charge a premium for these vintage clothes. Places like Buffalo Exchange in ATL come to mind when I think of thrift stores with a good but overpriced selection. You can also bring in your own clothes to trade in and receive better payment than places like Plato's closet. Based on all this, It's not hard to imagine Jiwantsclothes getting to the level of Round 2 or Rag-O-Rama if they keep up the great work. I highly recommend giving this place a chance, I'm sure you'll walk out of their with at least one piece of clothing!

Ken T and I saw the array of leather and fur displayed against a truck in an abandoned parking lot, looked at each other, and knew we had to stop. Ms. Tee's got a good eye, and she's peddling everything from the real vintage stuff to newer faux furs to church hats to "Louis Vuitton" luggage sets. Sure, it's a mish mash, but I loved every second of browsing with the rumble of trucks on Moreland as ambiance. I've got a serious thing for vintage fur at the moment, and Ms. Tee's been in the biz for years. Some of her pieces needed a little rehab, some were over the top, but some were perfection at a bargain price. I felt a little silly parading around the parking lot in a stunning fox fur stole, but it's looking mighty at home in my closet, and at $50 (in perfect condition, no tears in the lining!) I'm glad we didn't pass this place by. She's aiming to be there most Saturdays until 5. Support your local businesses, even if they don't have business licenses. Or storefronts. Or registers. What is an Empress and her Yelp concubine/intern suppose to do? Pull over right quick and shop, of course. Ms. Tee has a pretty impressive collection of men and women's fur coats and leather jackets. Most are vintage, so if you find something in your size, it's a meant to be. She only takes cash, but she will bargain. I walked away with a London Fog leather bomber and detachable fur collar for a steal of $30! Steal, I tell you! She also has a great collection of fur stoles, collars, and other accessories to have you feeling extra luxe and lavish, irregardless of how crazy ATL weather can get. Best believe, you'll be seeing the jacket & fur collar debut at the next yelp event!
