They don't have items that are musty smelling like some other places which is refreshing. Staff is generally friendly. Nice that they have free parking in little 5. Rag-o-Rama is kind of like a Plato's closet, and they have a great selection of different items in the store--from shoes, tops, jackets, pants, skirts, bags, and accessories. I've sold some of my items here before, and the staff has always been helpful and quick with getting through my things. The store also has security that is very friendly and helpful as well. Price wise, I'd say they are a bit on the pricier end for a thrift store, and the items they look for seems to be a bit inconsistent. I've had items turned down for being "fast fashion", but I've seen plenty of fast fashion items on the racks for sale as well. It seems like the items they look to buy depend mostly on what style is trending, so if you don't get a lot of stuff sold I'd recommend trying again at a later time--don't be too discouraged! read more

This is one of my go to thrift stores due to its proximity to me, and it is one of the best in the city. They have everything ranging from clothes, to shoes, to hats, to jewelry. You are almost guaranteed to find at least one thing you like when you visit. They always have a huge staff working so getting serviced is usually never a problem as well. The only drawbacks are parking and value. Parking isn't free and it may be hard to find especially on a weekend when it's very busy. The store is also a little over priced in my opinion, but that of course depends on what you get. I saw some basic tees that were marked as $20, when I could probably find them for much less. If you're selling your clothes, go somewhere else. You'll wait in line for hours only to get $13 in store credit or $1 in cash. If you're buying clothes, this is not a bad place to find some hidden gems, but you have to sort through sooooo much to find that "one" piece. I was appalled they wouldn't take my Alexander Wang, Docs, or Adidas gear. They wouldn't take Doc Martens without laces either, lol. $250 pair of boots they won't take because of a $2 pair of laces. This store is strictly for the hipster crowd. I took my 16 year old niece in here to experience L5P & look around. She found a cute Jean jacket from Juicy Couture. Items are extremely overpriced & only a few dollars from regular retail. Lots of ppl shopping, but very courteous. There's no frenzy. The staff is extremely helpful & move quickly through the customer lines. I stumbled upon a fanny pack that I want. Also, I'm returning to get a sweater that I hope is still there from 2 days ago. Clothes are overpriced every single time, why buy 2nd hand clothing for the price of brand new? Owner also is very rude and abrasive, and was yelling at film crew outside who were in the heat, and just doing their jobs. This happened at least three times while I visited today. The crew were incredibly polite and efficient about getting customers in the store even with road blocks. The owners behavior was uncalled for and disheartening, and inappropriate in front of customers. Won't be shopping here again and will encourage others to do the same. Yikes. read more

Loved this store! As a plus size girly it can be disheartening to go to secondhand shops and leave empty handed because they don't carry your size. I'm an 18/20 and I saw tons of clothes in my size. Double check your clothes because some of them do have stains and holes. Most items are $15 and up so it's a bit pricey, but almost everything is vintage. Tons of men's clothes and shoes, but I found the women's section lacking. Super cute store though and can't wait to come back. read more

What a fun place! While walking around in Atlanta, I kind of stumbled upon Rag-O-Rama and it was definitely a cool space. The thrift store is huge! And I honestly feel like they have everything, from shoes, to jackets and hoodies, to shirts- everything you may want or need is here. The prices here are definitely higher than say at the Salvation Army or a Goodwill, but I defintely feel like you're getting a different quality of goods here. You'll find newer and cooler items here. Tank tops around $10. Shoes around $30. Again, not Goodwill, but I saw many items with retail tags still on them. The associates here were really friendly as well. I asked them about their consignment/sellback program. It seemed like they gave you a good deal for what you were turning in, but unfortunately I don't live here so I can't really know so I asked about the $30 shoes. If you returned them for credit you'd get $15 in cash or $18 to spend in the store. Basically it's like a car- drive off the lot and it loses half of its value. The store has tons of racks to comb through so take your time and and peruse through everything before heading to the checkout. If you spend all of your money, please don't send me a message yelling at me. As I walked into this Little 5 Points shop, I was confused. Is the merchandise new or old? After checking out a few racks, I realized it was all new merchandise. The decor was consignment, recycle. As I looked up behind the registers, hung a large sign with a long list of customer info, most of which refers to No Returns, No Refunds. A pretty cool thrift store in Atlanta! They have everything...shirts, shoes, bags, pants, jackets, etc! Everything is in close to perfect and new condition. Everything is organized by "type" of item and then by size. There are clean dressing rooms, but you are only allowed 3 items at a time to try on. They are also a consignment shop. ROR is the place to go if you're looking for trendy urban wear. Of course they sell other types of clothing but urban wear is the bulk of the merchandise at this location. They sell both new and used clothing. Most of the new stuff comes from store that donate to them. If you decide to sell your items bring a boat load of clothes because they only buy 10% of the items brought to them. If they decide to accept your items you can chose cash equal to 30% of the sell price, or store credit at 50% of the sale price. The store is open everyday from 10am-9pm. The buying counter is open from 10am-6:30pm and they are currently buying spring & summer clothing. read more

It's a cool thrift store you'll definitely be able to find SOMETHING in your size that you like however in my personal opinion it's a little expensive for a thrift store. I bought 3 shirts and paid $55.00 other than pricing they have some cool finds in there if you know how to thrift. The customer service was also really great. This place is hostile to the customer. They yelled at my friend because she had a backpack on. Apparently it is against store policy to have a bag inside the store. Their method of communicating this was to scream it. They treat normal customers like criminals who should be caught. This might be projection because they 'accidentally' added a few extra dollars to the total during checkout. When I asked why the cashier got flustered and reversed the extra charge quietly. I was so disappointed today, & not only was my service PISS POOR, but I watched two African American young boys get kicked out for personally talking about trading their things. Seth was extremely rude both times! I let it slide at 2:30 (as he scolded me so much for having to let me borrow a plastic bag for my one item -- he reminded me 3 YES THREE times that I shouldn't do it again lol -- that the girl taking my name and number wrote both down incorrectly). I was so confused coming into Rag-O-Rama. It has the look and feel of the thrift store, but its prices did not reflect that. Possibly (probably) because the clothes are very, very gently used. I appreciate that, but I'm still miffed that the prices weren't 'better'. Most dresses were $12 - $19, men's shirts $15+, etc.. I was kind of turned off at the prices as I was hoping to find good bargains. I might have better luck at a goodwill or something. Like Junkman's Daughter, Rag-O-Rama is sort of an icon of the L5P community. It's popular and always busy the times I've visited. The store is big and carries a lot of both men's and women's fashion. I recently visited to find 80s vintage clothing to wear to my company's 80s-themed summer party. I visited a few stores in L5P, such as this one and the Clothing Warehouse, as well as Goodwill and the Junior League's Nearly New Shop on Howell Mill Rd. When it comes to funny, fun, and funky clothes, Rag-O-Rama, followed by the Clothing Warehouse, had the best selection. Rag-O-Rama has fitting rooms. The thing I like about shopping for these kinds of clothes in-person as opposed to online is because I get to see and feel the quality/condition of the fabrics and try them on. The store's selection changes daily because of the constant influx of "new" clothes. The store pays on-the-spot cash, check, or store credit for items brought in. If you plan to sell clothes to Rag-O-Rama, be sure to understand the rules and limitations which can be found on the company's web site (www.ragorama.com). Totally rad. In addition to used clothes, I've seen new costumes and wigs. Good for Halloween. Pricing can sometimes be whack. For example, I saw a pair of white shutter shades, like the pair Kanye West wore, priced at $14.95. You can buy a 12-pack of those shades from Amazon for $6 with free shipping. T-shirt prices vary and I've seen some semi-raggedy ones go for around $15-20, which seems overpriced. I can't justify spending $15 +tax on a worn and faded vintage Walmart t-shirt. However, I have seen Levi's jorts and good condition red Umbros for around $10 each. Score. Parking consists of pay lots and street-metered parking. However, street parking is free on Sundays. You can also find free street parking along neighborhood side streets, such as Washita Ave. and Austin Ave, if you're willing to walk a bit. read more

Rag-O-Rama took over the large futon store spot on Euclid, and they've stocked the place with a boatload of cool used and vintage clothing while leaving plenty of room for you to shop and try things on. There's a nice selection of t-shirts from the painfully funny to the god-awfully tacky. I found some awesome track jackets from the 1980's but had to pass them up since I already have enough of those lying around the house. Rag-O-Rama is constantly buying clothes and accessories the entire business day. They price the clothes for sale and then offer you either 50% value store credit or 35% cash.
