It is now May 29th and today I received a generic email saying the item is out of stock and I was issued a refund. BUT before that, I received a text from the store manager Mari that due to a glitch in their system, my order had just gone through on May 18th. She assured me the issue was remedied and my order would ship out the next day. When my order had not shipped by the end of the week, I emailed her directly. She replied this past Monday, saying the person responsible for shipping orders abruptly left. She again assured me my order would ship the next day. It did not, and I contacted her via text, asking her to cancel my order. Without a response directly from her, I got an automated email today that said my order was refunded because the item is now out of stock. I waited almost three weeks for my order to ship and then it got canceled, not because I requested it, but because the tote bag was out of stock. They didn't set aside one to ship to me when it was available once my order actually populated a week later. The locals seem to love this store but I'm not a local and if I were in charge, this is not the experience I'd want a customer to have or the impression I'd want to make.

Over the years, for whatever the reasons, the clothes changed and they start offering bigger plus sizes. And since I am petite and wear a size 10 and 12 , I can't wear a lot of their clothes. I only go occasionally for that reason and sometimes I might find something that I can wear. I not a big fan of a lot of African-centric clothing so I will always pass on them. Some of the same ladies that are working at the store have been with this owner from the beginning and I guess that says a lot about the owner. Everyone is always friendly to me; never had a bad experience.

It's been awhile since I got a suit so I got measured and a dude who measured me was cool and putting me in the right direction to where my size would be at my current build. If I needed a quick fix as far as an outfit, I would go back here. They have a number of things there so you really can't lose.

In general, she says she always finds something that's good quality and a good value, and customer service is good. She described Nordstrom Rack as, "like a higher-end T.J. Maxx." Some examples of items she's purchased here include Stuart Weitzman shoes (her wedding shoes; they're beautiful), Madewell sweaters and T-shirts (lots of T-shirts), a French Connection sweater, a Theory dress (one of my favorites; she's worn it to my company's holiday party and to one of her company's events), and NEST New York scented candles (they smell good). Another reason she likes Nordstrom Rack is because she can return both Nordstrom Rack and regular Nordstrom items. Convenient. During our last visit, employee Marquis was fantastic. At checkout, my wife didn't know her Nordstrom credit card expired. Marquis got her on the phone with someone who helped her take care of everything. She was still able to get her Nordy Club points and Notes (loyalty rewards). This Nordstrom Rack is located in Buckhead, just off Georgia 400 Exit 2, near Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza. It's in Buckhead Station, a two-story shopping center. On the weekends, Buckhead Station gets crowded and there are longer lines at Nordstrom Rack. During peak times, I suggest parking on the lower level where there is plenty of parking and no congestion. This Nordstrom Rack opened in 2010. It's the only Nordstrom Rack inside the perimeter.
