My teenage daughter tried to come here shortly before they closed to pick up something for her little sister. Despite having customers and employees in the store, they had already locked up and wouldn't let her in. Very poor service for a neighborhood place that's trying to remain relevant in an Amazon world. So my daughter came home and we ordered some cute shoes (size 12 girls kids) with rainbows and unicorns. Now Amazon is suggesting other products, which I just picked up two more pairs, which were cheaper than I normally pay at this boutique. This is a good example of how neighborhood boutiques need to provide superior service and merchandising to their important neighborhood clients. Don't close your doors early. Let people come in. Be thankful they have chosen to drive to your store rather than use Amazon or Zappos. read more

Rather than spending hours online shopping, stressing out, and not really knowing if the shoe will fit your baby, y'all need to go here!! The lady measured my 1 year old's foot and knew exactly what size she needed in each shoe we tried on- bc y'all know every brand and style fits different! Highly recommend and will be returning! Also this shopping center is in a great location! Lots of other local shops & restaurants. :) read more

My gracious they have the most unfriendly employees!!! They are so grumpy. Let's also not forget the two decent sized signs in the store that say 'no whining'. Seriously? What an absurd sign to put up in a kids store!!! Never again. read more

My son has to wear ankle SMOs so we were in desperate need of a shoe shop to measure his feet and find wide, deep shoes that would accommodate the braces. We were welcomed upon arrival, but had to wait a little bit for service as the staff were working with other clients. No problem. My son surprisingly did very well at being measured. The staff brought us various shoes for us to try on. They even recommended a pair that was on clearance - we bought two pair so that he had a pair to grow into. Regular prices are a bit high, but on par with what we would have paid regularly on Amazon. Partner wants to go back to get him resized and find new shoes. read more

I agree with the other reviews. Went yesterday and purchased three pairs of shoes (they do have a great selection). But, the staff wasn't interested in helping beyond what I specifically asked for sizes in. We went on a Monday, middle of the day when I knew they wouldn't be too busy since I knew we needed help. Even though they weren't busy with customers (only us and one other mom/daughter), the 3-4 women working there were busy on their phones (clearly ordering lunch and waiting for us to leave to pick it up). The main one "helping" us, walked out before we made it to our car to go pick up lunch. I would recommend going to check out the shoes and then buying online. This is a great example of why physical stores won't last and can't compete with online stores. We shop small for customer service and when that lacks, what's the point? Can purchase all the same shoes without the attitude and for lower prices online. read more

A good selection of shoes for kids but the customer service and attitude runs the gamut! One day you'll get someone who is more than happy to help but others (more frequently) you're met with either indifference or a downright attitude. All I can think is that this must stem from the owner since this seems to be what several other Yelpers have encountered and it apparently continues over the years. They do have some cute accessories and gifts too other than shoes. Now when you walk in, you sign in on a sheet of paper and they call your name when it's your turn to get helped. This is a good improvement but they need to take their customer service to the Nordstrom level! read more

Nice location, next to a toy store, children's boutique, and Panera in the same shopping center. Is it worth a 30 minute drive..... Perhaps the ladies are just busy but it felt very rushed being there. Hand sanitizers and disposable masks are available by the door. The ladies try to keep the customers as far apart as possible. But again, rushed. It's nice to actually test the shoes and see them instead of online but at least online it was a relaxing pace and I don't feel unwelcome. read more

I really hope the owner/manager reads these reviews since they are all referring to her. Maybe a little break or vacay can help?? I went there yesterday and had the same snobby treatment. The owner and managers didn't smile and seemed judgmental. The store and other employees felt tense due to this. It's a kids store...it should feel happy and fun. The young gal with dark curly hair was super helpful though. They do have a great selection and also have nice sale deals (50% off top brands). read more

I will no longer drive 45 mins to a shop where the OWNER jumps all over me when I ask politely when a shoe will be in stock. Sorry you're having supply chain issues but you'll no longer have me (with my kids in tow) to take it out on. Precious store with a very good selection of shoes. I managed to get my daughter two pairs of shoes (toms and stride rite) in their final clearance for $20 each. The reason for the 2 star is the arrogant attitude the employees had. The shop was relatively busy, and people were helping families fit their children. My daughter and I were not greeted, after 30 minutes of shopping I had selected shoes, still no greeting or offer to help. Two girls sat behind he counter talking about really irrelevant things and did not help me at all. I had to interrupt them to pay for the shoes. So disappointed in the service at a store designed to fit children's feet properly. read more

I recently moved here and live five minutes from Sprong. I have purchased numerous shoes for my grandchildren over the past year from Sprong and am not sure why those working at this establishment maintain such an arrogant demeanor. They are supposedly working for my business and not the reverse. I shopped at Buckles in Buckhead for the first time today and was extremely happy with my experience. Went recently and bought a pair of shoes for my 3 year old son. It was busy. After waiting about 10 minutes, we were assisted by a dark-haired woman who couldn't be more uninterested if she tried. She man-handled my son in such an uncaring way, like he was an animal. We ended up buying the shoes and leaving the store feeling completely unappreciated. I guess there are so many Buckhead people there paying top dollar that the staff has lost its humanity. Too bad. read more

I wouldn't go back to Sprong. I've been in the store a few times & most recently took my one year old there & even though she measured 5.5, they gave her a 5 in a Stride Rite shoe, telling me it was the correct size. Soon after, she had blisters on her toes and when I took her to the official Stride Rite store they said if she measured a 5.5 she needed a 6. Also, the ladies who work there seem more interested in talking to each other than serving customers. In fact, one seemed annoyed that I interrupted her when she was reading a novel. From now on, I will also travel the extra 15 min to the official Stride Rite store. read more

I love Sprong! The shoes are so cute, the staff is hip and young and they really know how to fit kids' feet. I have had help from the majority of the folks there and am always pleased. Lauren is a star, she is the manager. They talk to the kids and treat them like people which my kids really respond to. They are patient and not afraid to tell you what they think even if it isn't exactly what you want to hear....I appreciate that in this market! They will tell you which shoe is best suited for your child based on fit and style, not price or fashion. I have sent so many folks there and everyone returns! read more

I have a 3 year old niece who needed new shoes, so I brought her into Sprong. They have an excellent selection of shoes, all different styles from dress shoes to casual shoes, so I was very pleased with my choices. The ladies there were very sweet with her and were able to measure and fit her into a few different shoes that I liked. They were able to tell me what shoes would work best for her narrow feet, and I was very pleased with the outcome. Sprong is becoming our only go to for boys shoes. They always have our size and if they do not, they offer to order it for us if it is available. They keep record of our purchases, so even if my boys are not with me, I know what size we have at home. I highly recommend the personal service! read more
