Better than Goodwill for selection. Prices are not bad. As far as a consignment business, they have some very questionable and inconvenient practices. You can only pick up a check when you reach $15. It may take you 3 years, but you will not get the 14.99 or less owed to you. You can only pick up your check quarterly. So that means the few bucks they owe you will likely be forgotten by you in the business of life. You can't pick up your money when it is easy and convenient for you, the customer. Checks expire if not picked up (though this may be changed) Too bad Labels, Atlanta, got rid of their kids department. You could pick up anytime you had a sale. And they give you cash. read more

I consigned more than $300.00 of super high-end clothes from my boy-girl twins last year and received a check in the amount of $13.00. I also asked that unsold merchandise be returned. I should have known something was fishy when they didn't take a clear inventory of my items and then told me to call back to see if I have a check or my items sold. When I finally returned to inquire about my items they referred me back to the "contract" which releases them from liability and allows them to keep your clothes without paying you. And because I did not have a list of items, I was essentially screwed. I would have been better off donating them to a great cause--at least I'd be helping the needy and not lining some woman's pockets. read more

This is a review strictly on the consignment process, which I wish I researched more as I am one of many with this feedback. The consignment process is terrible. Don't do it. I LOVE consignment and I've never seen anything like this. I dropped off a ton of maternity clothes and baby clothes - I went to get my $16 I received (this is no joke - about 40 items) and I was told I had to collect all my consigned items myself. Well, not so easy - I have to search through racks and racks to find my "ticket." It has a price code / color - I'm not joking. I literally just gave up. The store is a mess - laundry baskets everywhere. They only way they pay you in a check which, you have to GO in pick up in person (this is 2021). Then, you can provide them with an envelope to mail you a check (I did this and never received a check). When I was in the store I was complaining about the process - they were nice enough to get my items for me. Great, except I'm missing a $200 JBrand Jeans from Pea and the Pod and I came home with two additional items that weren't mine? Please don't consign here Moms! read more

I went in looking for shoes and was impressed by the amount of boys clothing. Most of the consignment shops that I've visited have very little when it comes to boys clothing under 12 months, but there were several nicely organized racks of just boy clothes. Unfortunately, the shoes weren't well organized, with all styles and all sizes just placed on top of the clothing racks, leaving me looking throughout the whole store. They've got a small play area near the register and a section for maternity clothes in the back. I'll be back! There's limited parking (only 2-3 spaces right in front of the shop). read more

Went in search of maternity clothes and was thrilled with the prices and the selection. For under $150, I got 5 dresses (some designer), 6 tops, a pair of shorts, a ring sling, and a NWT nursing bra. The dresses were lovely and flattering, and the lower-end stuff like Old Navy and Liz Lange ended up being like $3-5 each - better than Goodwill prices. The sales associate was very kind as I tried on over 20 items, holding stuff for me at the register, etc. I will definitely be back! read more

Once our baby is born, I will return and look at actual baby/children's stuff (they had a HUGE selection) but I went in in search of maternity wear. The selection was ok and the organization was fine--but the prices were way too high. $18 for an obviously worn, super-pilled sundress that you could find at any given yardsale? I went through the racks and found a nice white shirt from old navy for $5--totally reasonable. The rest of their clothing was simply too expensive for consignment. They had some nicer brands and some nice things, but they all needed to be marked way down in order to be reasonable. All that said, I will return when we need things for our baby once she's born. read more

I came to browse because I had time to kill and I like a good deal on quality items. I've found a lot of excellent deals on baby/maternity goods on some online Buckhead/Brookhaven and Intown parents exchange, so these are my regular price points. The shop itself is packed with kids clothes! Maternity wear is in the back, so my 3rd trimester belly bump was getting a good Houdini workout squeezing around the store. In the process I had time to look at some clothes and made the mistake of seeing some of the tags. Holy smokes! These are consignment prices?! A 6month old girls tank top should not be $25. Ever. I don't care if it's spun with the hair of labradoodle puppies by Beyonce. I have a hard time with Hannah Anderson prices, but can see the allure of cuteness. But...no. My baby will be wearing non couture drivel. On to the maternity section. It was pretty sad and honestly a lot of shabby stuff...that was still being sold way beyond consignment prices. Maybe if the name brand stores were having a 15% off sale and selling the items brand new I could see the cost at least as realistic. 1 star for amount of clothes in store (maybe no one buys there?) 1 star for the nice, friendly clerks. read more

As a shopper, I have found some very nice things. Yes, they can be overpriced. They do a sales after the stuff has been there a while, however. And if the item is in good shape, it's still cheaper than buying new. And recycling is good. As a seller, my experience has been a bit hit or miss. My stuff does sell, but you only get a small percent of the sales price. Also, if you want to get your unsold items when you're time is over, you have to hunt on your own for the unsold items. Which I'm fine doing, but I couldn't find 8 outfits this last time! Basically they just apologized, with no real concern. So I may go back as a buyer, but I'm not going to sell there again. read more

Great place to buy things, but you get a raw deal when you sell your things there. They keep 60%... I do not agree with the reviews that say there prices are too high, their prices are good...you just don't get a fair split when you sell stuff there. I only bring my nicer things and I've never made enough to to hardly bring my things but a great place to buy...just have to be selective. read more

I am normally a consumer of reviews rather than writing my own, but after seeing some harsh reviews for this lovely store, wanted to add my two cents. I have found Sweet Repeats to be an AWESOME source for maternity wear, and am looking forward to finding kid stuff here. (Cannot speak to the consignment experience yet.) While other reviewers found the prices are absurd, you really just have to look at the tags of the items you are considering (which I would think applies anywhere you shop). I have always come away with a good-sized bag of clothes at good bargain prices, from casual wear (tank tops, jeans, etc.) to items for work (I am a teacher) to a really flattering halter that I wore to a wedding. This store has seriously gotten me through that awkward period of time when none of your normal clothes fit. Personal favorites are the jeans I would wear every day if I could (~$13); a pristine, perfectly-fitted pair of yoga pants (80 cents), and a basic black dress that I have worn to conferences as well as family events and it always gets compliments (~$16). On the logistical/service end: Parking has never been a problem, the staff are always friendly and helpful, and the store and items all look and smell clean. The maternity clothes are pretty well organized by size and type; as with any consignment store, just come with some time to browse, try things on, and see if they fit your bump :) read more

The policies at this store are so bad I should have known not to leave my kids clothes here. Buyers probably do well here but don't waste your time selling or consigning here. I would never do it again. I gave them hundreds of dollars all brand new kids clothes Boden, Gap, Carter's etc. shoes too. When I called 2 months later they said I had $19. Rip off. They take too long and money is too small. Better off donating. Never again. read more

Now 19 months of shopping here and getting ready for our 2nd child we think this is the best consignment store in Atlanta. Great prices, clean and well organized store with a good selection. Parking can get a little tight, but if so you can just park on the street and walk the extra 10'. read more

I went is for my daughter and I, because I am pregnant and we love to shop!! However I am used to going to consignment shops(especially kids) and not having to be concerned with the prices. But Sweet Repeats need to lower there process, I found them to be ridiculous!! I was so turned off I didn't even think about searching for the sales. I shop at Labels boutique very frequently so I am not a stranger to paying high prices for quality used clothing!!! BTW they referred me. Im not sure if i'll be back to check out what the sales are like. The maternity was the worst BTW. These items are not all all nice, but because the label read "Pea in a Pod" I guess they decided to just go for it. They need to really rethink there price points. read more

This place is great if you are buying! However as a seller, I found the ladies that work there to be rather rude and condescending. Plus, you only get such a small percentage when you do sell, and they make no effort in contacting you about getting paid. Soo, if the staff could get a slight attitude adjustment and sellers could get a higher percent it would be a GREAT experience. read more

For children's clothing, Sweet Repeats is amazing - fantastic selection, very organized, some unique special occasion outfits, and nice if a little inattentive staff. They carry some strollers and such as well, which is a nice addition. I have not consigned with them yet. They also have a maternity section stuffed in the back of the store, which is not so great. Mostly Mimi Maternity and Old Navy type stuff, organized by size, and definitely an afterthought to the rest of the store. I will go again for children's stuff, but not for maternity. read more

I love this store. They have a tag color system and the longer the item is there, the lower the price. Some items are high on the prices, butI just purchased 13 items and the cost averaged at $3 per item. Many of my items were marked down due to the color of their label. They have many designer items. I went into the store today for the first time. Upon opening the door the store smelled like I had walked into an old wet molded basement. That turned me off right away as why would I want to put anything on my baby that came from somewhere with such a foul odor. I had time to kill so I walked to his size clothing section, which was so hard to get to because the store is extremely over crowded with clothes - like a grandma's house who has had stuff for years. Clothes were overpriced as others said and to be honest their selection was not good at all. I was in the store for about 5 minutes total and no one bothered to greet me or ask if I needed any help. I left and won't be back nor would I recommend this store to anyone. Sorry, I wanted to like it from the sign outside, but it didn't happen once I walked in. read more

I have shopped here for years and LOVE Sweet Repeats. I am surprised others are complaining about pricing. I find the prices quite reasonable and the quality to be top of the line. Some items I have purchased in the past, still had original tags on and obviously never been worn. Many of the sweaters are from France, Spain, South America and are of high end quality being hand knitted etc. I bought an Obermyer ski suit in excellent condition for $35.00. they sell new for $300.00. My grandson got 3 seasons of wear in Colorado. I have NO negatives. Customer service is fabulous and sales are wonderful too ! I am and will remain a loyal customer! read more

I was very impressed with the variety of clothing/shoes/etc that the store had to offer. I was highly upset that when I entered the store the sale representatives looked up and continued talking. About 10mins later, another women entered and the representative stopped talking, and welcomed this women to the store and even asked her if she could help her find anything. WOW!!! I have never been treated like this before!!! I would not recommend this place only b/c of the customer service. read more
