I love this Paper Source location! I always find fun and interesting gifts, art projects, art supplies, holiday ideas, stamps, stocking stuffers, cards and creative inspiration here. This year I was looking for a nice Thanksgiving art project to do with my teenaged step daughter but the ones I kept seeing were all for very young children. Paper Source had a Thanksgiving paper wreath art project that was perfect! I bought two designs, we each did one and she loved it! Paper Source corporate even reposted my wreath on their Instagram story! :D I usually park on the street but there is also free parking behind their building if you can't find street parking. Go check it out! :)

This is what the package looked like inside, showing the shredded paper and filling I had to buy separately.

Service was excellent. They did a really good job in wrapping my gift. The selection for what I needed to gift wrap a wedding gift was slightly limited, which wasn't really an issue. The only problem was the pricing was a little high. The steepness of the pricing was probably due to the way they charge. If you want a gift wrapped, you have to buy everything at their retail price from their floor inventory. That means you have to buy an entire roll of wrapping paper, whether you need that much or not. The same goes for whatever else you may need, like packs shredded paper for filler and they aren't cheap. All of this is on top of the labor they charge you. You do get to keep whatever they don't use. Why not? You did pay for it.

This shop is super cute and has a wonderful selection of papers, pens, cards, and wrapping paper. The things here are a bit more expensive than I was expecting, but it's obvious that it's well made and worth the price. There were so many things I wanted to buy, it was hard to pick! The employees were friendly and polite. I will definitely be back.

Houston was amazing! I had so much fun learning to emboss my wedding invitations. It's so easy and so elegant! It made my diy look very professional. I've gotten so many compliments and now I've bought more stamps and colors. Excellent customer service. I truly felt like she cared and wanted to make my day special.

Store stocks some original, fun items. Helpful staff even though it was a Saturday night right before closing.

Fun classes and an amazing array of products. The people who work here are so cool. Only downside is parking can be tough.

I was visiting ATL for the weekend and wanted to visit some yarn stores so the Craftivist came up in my research. I saw that they host events for people to come in and work on their fiber arts a few times a week so this sold me on visiting! When I stopped in, I was greeted and there was space for me to sit down. I even got some help on my project. It was so nice to be community with people who love the fiber arts for a little while. I look forward to supporting their business since they also ship!

I recently had a private knitting lesson here…read more The instructor begin with telling me the different types of forms yarn comes in, ie. hanks, skeins and balls along with other information about knitting. After the introduction the instructor picked out a wood circular knitting needle for me. The reason for choosing the wood I was told it would help hold the yarn better for a beginner versus a metal needle. When it came time to choose the yarn I was told to make my choice from a small area. I picked a mustard yarn. The next day I received an invoice from the store because I didn't pay for the items. Silly me. I assumed because I was only allowed to pick out from a certain section that it was included with the lesson that I had paid for. Unfortunately, because the yarn I chose was quite small. It has been difficult as a beginner working with it. There have been a lot of starts and stops which I would expect but more so because of the size of the yarn. I have since learned as a beginner I should have a bulkier yarn. When I left that day, I had not gotten the hang of the cast on, or the knit stitch. Five minutes before the class was to end we had just finished casting on and that didn't leave much time for the knitting since the store was opening. Since taking the class I have been able to get the hang of the cast on and the knit stitch thanks to Sheep and Stitch on YouTube. I think the reason I didn't get the hang of it in the store was because of the teaching style. It just didn't mesh with my learning style. I would definitely recommend the classes to anyone here. Very professional staff. Because the yarn I ended up purchasing isn't good for beginners. I did call the store to see if I could exchange it, but I was told they would not accept it because it had already been wound. The staff was very nice. They were very helpful when customers came in.
