I honestly have been disappointed with the this target since moving to Atlanta! It's a hot mess. The pick up orders take forever whether it's drive up or in store. A good amount of the staff members appear to not want to be at work at times . 75% of the time I do a pick up order I get an out of stock notification. Today I waited 30 mins for my drive up order which is absolutely ridiculous. I feel as if I could if went in the store and picked out the items myself . If there were other target options close to me I would potentially try them but in my honest opion I will likely only shop at targets when I am back home or in another city. read more

Produce selection is pretty weak and the quality can be pretty bad most of the time. Several areas have pricing for products posted that aren't available but with other higher priced items in their place. REALLY PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU PICK UP or you'll be paying more than expected at the check out. Value perception for most of what they offer food wise is very low. Target needs to get out of the market business; stick to what you know. Service has always been either nonexistent or mediocre at best. You're gonna pay more here and it's not worth it but if you're a bored high school kid or soccer mom that's not what you care about anyways. read more

Drive up can really be touch and go here. I sat and watch cars get their orders while I waited about 40 minutes. I attempted to call and customer service picked up immediately disconnecting. I couldn't get out bc I had my infant with me and didn't want to take the extra time. The inside of the store is usually unkempt but at the beginning of the season very shoppable. This experience was just very unsatisfactory due to the wait and potential order of things my order was not big and when I attempted to get the attention of the person doing orders the held up 1 finger and never came back. Wow. This store is ridiculous!! Clothing everywhere but on the rack. No store associate actively working to clear the mess. Such a large store.... How can this be a consistent thing. Has not been one time that there was room to walk near the dressing room...it's never organized boy is there ever any help. Most times the dressings rooms are closed per management. You either have to run someone down or go without help. For the cost of the items.... What do you receive. Honestly it seems like a good target. I was here in July 3rd so a little chaotic. They seem to have a big dollar section. My pickup did take a while and there was a lot up at the desk. Everyone was nice and didn't exactly shop around but I will say as someone who has never been to this location I had to circle the surrounding shopping center 3 times finding it. Traffic was BAD and it was stressful. If this was my normal target I think it would deter me from shopping here as much as I do frankly. read more

Shopping at Target Edgewood has become an increasingly miserable experience. Since they added the larger beauty section, the rest of the store has become a confusing maze of randomly empty shelves. Most of the aisles are unlabeled and disorganized and many sections have completely empty shelves. I wanted to buy a pair of sports socks and couldn't find the price on any of the packages I picked up. The socks were so disorganized that after attempting to match socks with the displayed prices I gave up and left without any. I saw four people who were supposed to be working to restock shelves (guessing based on the carts they were leaning on) on their phones. And they weren't doing a quick check to see a message or respond to something but just looking and scrolling. I only come to Edgewood because my prescriptions are sent here, but I'll be changing that at my next doctor's visit. I don't want to shop at Target Edgewood anymore. Nice Target, it is large and well stocked but the lines here can get pretty long during the checkout process.

Upon walking in, another customer asked an employee at the exchange area for help. Customer said they couldn't find anyone else to ask. Employee stated that they were super understaffed. "Understaffed" With these large corporations making record profits it would be nice if this Target's district/regional/corporate office would help them out with more hours/staff. When we got to the line there was only one register open. Granted, there were 6 self checkouts but we, as well as about 15-20 other customers had carts full of items. One. Register. Fortunately, someone just complained to a manager and they opened a second register. Also also, this has been our 5 visit this month and the icee machine is still broken. Also also, our check out took longer because 2 of our items (outta maybe 50?) didn't have price tags. At least the person who checked us out was very quick and pleasant. read more

This is my go to place for all of my household necessities and random finds. It's conveniently located with a variety of weekly deals that can't be missed. The only issue is the traffic in the area and the understaffing. It has gotten better but during peak hours there are tremendously long lines for checkout. read more

This is worst location in Atlanta by a long shot. If they were gonna close any location it should've been this one. 1. It's hard to get a signal inside the store so you always have to get on their Guest Wifi if you want to use the target app to shop and scan things. 2. God forbid you need to go to Customer Service. There is always a wait, just one person working a register and they aren't very savvy. So if for instance, you need to return a target plus item they don't know how lol. Go to the AS location. 3. There is always panhandling in the parking lot and right outside the front doors. That's 100% going to happen. At one point they would also panhandle inside the store but that did stop. 4. Drive up sometimes has technical issues. 5. Products that appear in stock in the app often aren't. BUT that is pretty common across all targets. read more

It's a standalone store with lots of parking space and the store has a lot of square footage. There's great selection of all items and you're shopping in Target! Had a blast roaming through this Target with my little one which consistently has the same layout as other stores. We picked up what we needed: a booster seat, some cleaning supplies, and a few other unplanned purchases. Was going to pick up some 20 lbs workout dumbbells but during this Covid 19 crisis they had all been swiped already. I also looked for puzzles but did not see any. This location is horrible! You can tell they been working on it and trying hard but it's been bad for a long time now. I ordered an item online a while back and was told it's out of stock but seen it on the shelves... now come on I get it if the store is busy but this store wasn't busy that day! Some Target stores work well, but today this store was a disaster. First thing you see on the north wall is a registry, a pick up, and returns all manned by one employee in DECEMBER! Shoppers in the long line said they used to man both returns and pick ups but now it is just one employee for all of it. But it gets worse, I made an online order the night before and very early in the morning I get an email my order is ready. I go over at noon. My order is not ready. NOR is anyone elses order and they all got the same 'your otder is ready' message. What they are doing is waiting until you get there, and then an employee goes and looks for your stuff. But it gets worse again! Because they assumed they had inventory because of what their computers show, you come out to get your stuff and have to then join the chaos and for many they did not have the items. Nothing on the shelf even though the computer showed they had them. A person in the know said this is because of the high "shrinkage" at this store. If you dont know what that is, its inventory that exits the store without being paid for somehow thus the inventory numbers cant be trusted. This is not unique to Target. It happens almost everywhere and the numbers that show available can be staggering, yet nothing is there. So of course a whole bunch of folks are upset and the scene is not pleasant. A lady that knew exactly what was happening tried to explain to customers and ran to the shelves to help for several orders to help the sole lady working there. She had to be either an ex employee or an off duty employee willing to help. A big thank you to her! It is shocking though that a company this big, in December can think one lady could ever handle a scene like this. Sending emails to people telling them their orders are ready when they are NOT, and worse yet many items out of stock is totally unforgiveable. Your better off staying home and let them deliver and many orders are free shipping. But many want to get things now and dont want to deal with all the porch pirates. Target in Caroline St is the most substandard Target I've ever done business with. They don't represent the Target brand well at all. Today, because of the continued poor service I've received at the drive up I will never do drive up service again at any Target and I will never go to that location right. Three times in a row I've received emails saying that my order was ready for pickup and per the email no items were canceled. But, upon arrival today my entire order had been canceled. Which was a waste of gas and time. I'm extremely disappointed and to top it off the associate was not apologetic nor did she offer a good explanation as to what happened. They never seem to restock this location. Every single time I go they are out of stock of the items I need. Most of the aisles were empty. They're also currently going through a "renovation" so the aisles aren't labeled correctly. Half the shampoo is in one aisle and the other half is located three aisles away. The pet aisle is now on the other side of the store. We had to ask an associate where it was. Half the parking lot is taken up by shipping containers, probably filled with all the products not on the shelves! This makes parking a legit NIGHTMARE in an otherwise insane parking lot. Love this target! All of the employees I've ever encountered here have always been helpful. It's relatively clean and I've never had any issues here, from the parking lot to finding the items I need in stock. They lose a star because the bathrooms are routinely disgusting, so avoid them if you can.
