After years of delivery only, I finally placed a pick up order from this store. Now I hate this mall. The parking and traffic flow layout is so bad near collisions are a constant concern. But this went way behind that. Placed order as Target had the black Soda Stream on sale and only powder blue by delivery. Ordered cups too. Got a notice things were ready and got there an hour later. Gave them 15 minute notice I was in my way. I sit in the car with 8 other puck up customers waiting for 25 minutes. The guy is taking his sweet luxurious time slow-working this job to the max. He picked the powder blue Soda Stream and forgot the cups entirely. I didn't notice until I got home as I followed their directions of stay in car open trunk etc etc. I call Corporate Customer service and get overseas bad English. After trying get an English speaker. Two choices 15% off of take it back. I hate powder blue. Hauled myself back. Waited 15min plus in line with customer service. They tell me they have no black when corporate says they do. Ask for refund and the do that. But they cannot refund extended warranty so I have to call back to corporate. AND they refunded only 1 of the three packs of cups I ordered (and got none of). This lady's English was also abysmal and she repeated things incorrectly over and over and got mad when I asked for a supervisor. She finally did refund warranty but not cups. THIS IS A NORMAL EXPERIENCE FOR THIS PARTICULAR TARGET AND CORPORATE CUSTOMER CARE. They are horrible. If there is an incredible deal at Target go to Northlake. read more

Clean, well-organized, well-stocked and close to home. This is my go-to Target. I buy a lot of my clothes here, particularly work clothes (office engineer). No point dropping a bundle on khakis and buttonup shirts just to impress other engineers. Jeans when they're on sale, too. Not shoes, though. I'll shop elsewhere or online (Zappos) for that. Food section has greatly improved and expanded over the years. The Target brand is just fine, and they carry a lot of brand names including 'natural' products. Not that I buy into the whole natural ripoff, but a lot of that stuff is better quality and I like that Target carries it. It was originally proposed to be a two-story Target (a Super Target?) but neighborhood objections caused it to be scaled down. Just as well - it's fine the way it is. Parking is pretty convenient and plentiful, being in the Edgewood shopping district and next to a Kroger. Access to the store is a bit zoo-like during busy times if using the two Moreland Ave district entrances, but you can also get to the Target lot from behind the store and from a side street off Moreland (locked until noon on Sunday as a concession to a local church). I'm strictly cash-only with Target. I haven't forgotten how they bungled security on their customer's credit information. read more

Target is basically Walmart 2.0 with better clothes, appliances, and electronics. Clothes are good quality and reasonably priced. Plenty of Jeans and graphic tees. Very limited options when it comes to shoes especially for men. I was actually impressed by their appliances and electronics section. Store is clean and organized. Free WiFi. read more

Next to the Target on North Druid Hills or the Target in Snellville (which I only visit when I'm visiting friends) this location is by far my favorite. Plus I love the fact that everything I need is right in this snug little plaza (Ross, Bed Bath and Beyond). Target and I still have our issues when it comes to them labeling the correct items with the correct price. I also have trouble wrapping my head around how Target feels they can make a purse with a silver buckle and imprint it with 'Target' as though they've reached Gucci or Christian Dior status and charge d@mn near $50 for it. Whhaatevvvverrr. A Target brand purse is lucky to get $30 out of me. Anyways I like this location because it's clean, the service I recieve is always great. I can always find what I need on sale. I got a really cute robe for $9. Although the book section in this store is lacking and in desperate need of some attention, I still give this store my stamp of approval. I must say I hate the temptation of the freaking starbucks right in front of the check-out line!! I mean is it not enough that I just spent WAY too much money on Target items, now I'm forced into buying that Grande, soy white chocolate mocha, with whipped cream...ugh, b@tches. read more

The Edgewood Shopping Center traffic has grown exponentially around with the surrounding neighborhood. And since there's not a Target, or Best Buy, or full-size Kroger within miles, this place does a lot of business. And as a result, this Target is almost always packed. That said, it's well laid out and the grocery aisle is a nice cheaper option than the Kroger next door. I'd strongly recommend this for a quick stop for the stuff Target sells, along with any dry goods that you'd normally get a Kroger. It's like a much nicer Walmart with much better goods. read more

You would think that in the midst of covid, things would be managed correctly; however, the line on a Saturday was stretched to the back of the store. It's just Wal-Mart with better aesthetics....and even though I know it I still find myself buying photo albums, picture frames, and miscellaneous junk there all the time. Wow just wow these people who work here are not doing there job right at all!! My man went to get my daughter diapers here and got the wrong one.. went to the desk to ask them if he can exchange them for the right ones and she said no.. he litterally just bought them! He didnt even leave the store!! Then he asks to see the manager she said no!!! Wtf!! Then she asks to see his ID this and that and gave a really hard time! First of all this is my favorite target location however I couldn't be more than irritated how often y'all mess up my online pickup orders.

One of my favorite Target`s considering I probably pass at least three Target`s to get to this one, but it sorta never fails when I want to order something online to pick up in store, this location is more likely to have the item than the target thats less than 3 miles from my house. ` I`m a Target clearance rack junkie, so its no surprise that I find some goodies on the clearance racks at this location also. Cant`recall a bad customer service experience, and I like that the store management is quick to open a new checkout lane when there are more than a few folks standing in line. Even the lady at the customer service will offer to take customers when the lines are getting thick. The shopping center also has one of the two Barnes and Noble that I think are left in metro Atlanta, and for that I enjoy this Target location even more. read more

This Target is a luv/hate thing. Luv how close it is to where I live and they generally have what I need. Hate how inconsistent the customer service can be. For example, I needed help getting a fragrance, but I was more curious than decisive. The young woman who helped me, happened to have the key to a locked display box. She patiently helped me try a few out, made suggestions, and I made a selection to purchase. A great customer service. On the other hand, and on the same visit, at the self check-out, I was told that it was closed. I got in the only line that open. It was late, so it got crowded, quickly. About 5 mins later a group of other customers came up and suddenly the self check out was open. I asked about the inconsistency on the spot, while I watch a person finish checking out. I was told it was still closed, but then the staff person said, I'm security, here to protect you, and I told him (staff under the bus) it would be a problem if you tell people it's closed and then you let other people check out. Well, he was right! What did the other two staff do? Call someone on the intercom to open another register, but they didn't give any further explanation or apology. By the time I checked out, no other register had opened. A poor customer service experience. That's what i mean about inconsistent. You'll either luv or hate shopping there. I feel the same about the Target brand products. I typically dont have a problem with their products. There was that one year though, like 2016, when the school uniform pants I bought, all tore a critical seam after one wear. I returned what I could - Target does have a great return policy and practices - and didn't buy uniforms from there again. However, I think that may have been addressed. With regard to store appearance, it varies. Its more messy inside the store, and dirty in the parking lot. However, it's difficult to critize the store for being dirty or messy when its not uncommon to see customers or kids drop trash on the floor/ground or pick up items and don't put them back. Overall, not a bad place to shop, but there is room to get better. read more

I really did my research to find the store that had everything I needed. I ordered a 20 pc silverware set, a set of dinner plates, a set of bowls, pickles and bread and butter pickles. They came out with 2 bowls, a SALAD plate and bread and butter pickles. They canceled over half my order and gone bring out a few things that cost about 10 dollars. I had to go back in (dressed in my nighties as I wasn't planning on getting out) and get a refund. The level of unprofessionalism here is amazing. That's it for me, Im new to Atlanta and I will NEVER shop in Atlanta again, enough is enough...Ill shop in Buckhead and/or Alpharetta because Im sick of the blatant disregard to customers. They just dont care. Despite the website saying that all the items were available there is no earthly way I'd cancel over half someones order and not notify them personally before I said things were ready for pickup. But instead they bring out plates knocking together in 1 bag (unwrapped) along with a big heavy glass jar of pickles. Its insanity. Ill make sure I spread the word about Atlanta. Where do I start? First up this is "my Target". With "my" mostly meaning closest to my house. It's kind of funny because there aren't that many other Target's in the area, so this one is the go to for many surrounding neighborhoods and area. Equaling = pretty big and packed. It's located in the Edgewood Plaza and is one of the main business tenants in the area. The store itself looks pretty standard and wouldn't be out of a place in a suburban neighborhood. The location has a pretty big parking lot and there plenty of space throughout the plaza, but peak hours can be tricky with traffic and it can be hard to maneuver through. This Target is pretty large and has everything you come to expect. Groceries, electronics, wellness, clothes, toys, and essentials in between. This location also recently remodeled its customer service center (which by the way looks amazing) and it includes a pharmacy and a Starbucks in the cafe. The customer service and staff has always been pretty great! Throughout our frequent visits we've gotten to know plenty of the staff and they're always very friendly and helpful. You may sometimes come across employees who can't answer your questions or are unsure about something, but they usually pretty quickly find out and are eager to help. The store is always very clean and organized as well. They continually update and restock so there's always something new to check out or updated items coming periodically. The aisles and categories can sometimes be confusing but everything is grouped together pretty well so after a few trips you'll be an expert in no time! Also there is no problem using coupons here or price matching! Definitely a plus. The only gripes I have is they can sometimes be out of stock of certain items, and usually won't know when they'll be back in. The Starbucks closes at 9, a while earlier before the store. And some staff are more engaged or interested in helping than others. Overall, this is absolutely my favorite Target in Atlanta and definitely my most visited being super close by. It's definitely a staple for most of us in the area and an absolute must for all around shopping. read more

Target has this weird thing where they are always out of at least one thing I need. Without fail, I will come in for a handful of things and one of them will be completely out of stock. And it's usually something for which there are few alternatives. The last time I was here, I needed some denim patches to repair some jeans. Completely out. The peg hook thing that the items hang on was there, with the label telling me that this was the item I needed. Everything else in the sewing section was in stock. Even the double-sided sticky things for your cleavage were fully stocked, even though there were a ton of opened packages strewn underneath the display, where the sewing machines were. (Do girls hit up the Target to adjust themselves before going clubbing?) The time before, it was duct tape. I needed regular old gray duct tape. I saw green, purple, and patterned duct tape that were more expensive than regular duct tape. But none of the regular stuff. And it's not just this Target. I also frequent the Perimeter Target and the same thing happens there. Anyway, this aside, the rest of the store is fine. Sometimes stuff is in weird places and I end up walking the entire length of the store like, eighteen times. They have a semi-decent craft beer selection. Parking is kind of a pain in the ass. Navigating Edgewood Retail District is a little nerve-wracking during the busiest parts of the day. Therefore, I usually come here in the middle of a weekday when I'm working from home. It's still pretty busy but not so much that I want to throw rotten eggs at inconsiderate drivers. read more

Last night I took a trip and while shopping found an end cap with furniture leg , non floor scratcher things for $2.99. This was a queens pack that had enough for a set of chairs, coffee tables, etc. It rang at 10.99, but because there were a slew of these things in that spot with the wrong price the manager honored the price. I purchased an LG 60" Class 4K UHD Smart LED HDR TV - 60UN7000PUBinch LG TV online for pickup at the Caroline location. My son arrives at the location today and was told they could not locate the order. I called and spoke with Mell in order pickup, and I told her that my son said he saw a Target employee with the TV in his cart. My son asked the employee if that was his TV as it was the exact TV I had already paid for an LG 60 Class 4K UHD Smart LED HDR TV in the buggy, and the employee said, "No, another man; just purchased this TV." Mell advised me that would be impossible as they would sit the TV aside for pickup. Mell said for that to occur, my order must have been canceled. I told her my order was most certainly not canceled. She looked up my order and saw that I was right, and she placed me on hold and then returned with another lie, saying the TV had not been in that store since January. I told her my son saw the TV being given to another customer by a Target employee. Mell placed me on hold for Brinesha, the manager in front. Brinesha came onto the line, advised me that another customer just purchased the TV I had paid for, and drove over 30 minutes to pick it up. I am so upset as this was a Birthday present for my son. They lied and said they didn't have the TV and then finally admitted without any logical explanation of how they sold a TV that I had already paid for, and it was still showing ready to pick up and allowed him to watch his TV being sold at the same time he was there to pick it up. I will NEVER order anything online from any TARGET since this is how they do business!!!! I will be contacting the corporate office and Candance, the store manager. This entire mishap on their part with lying and selling a TV to another man that I had paid for and was waiting to pick it up is unacceptable. read more

For the past many months I've been going to this Target in the evening after work to instantly develop some photographs, among other errands. However, I always find the Kodak machine screen black and defunct. Discouraged that my French memo board will continue to display out-of-date pictures, I waited in the customer service line to inquire about the dilapidated machine. "Is your photo processor going to be broken forever?" I squinted. It turns out that the machine only is available from 12 noon through 6 p.m., since Target found that no one used it in the evening, causing them to spend money on unused energy. A sign saying so would've been nice. Now I'm letting all the rest of you, who work 9-5 hours á la Dolly Parton (actually, Dolly, it's more like 8:30-5:30), know that Target's photo processor appeals to people with unconventional work hours. Or you have to do it on Saturday. read more

I hit this Target solely out of convenience. And my shopaholic nature. It does the job: I can get shampoo, a birthday card, a new pair of shoes, and laundry detergent in one fell swoop. But this is not the best of the Targets by any means. It's smaller, they don't usually get the fun designer lines, and service is only helpful when they want to get in your pants (seriously, the only time I've been asked if I needed help has been simultaneous with serious leering). The pharmacy takes forever and a day to fill prescriptions and Saturday afternoons are BANANAS and should be avoided at all costs. Yet I still manage to spend more money here than anywhere else in Atlanta. How do they do that?! read more

It's the intown-est of the intown, so it is quick to get to, and is coupled with a bunch of other errands-ish things like a dry cleaners and grocery store. Target is what it is. I happen to find it more user-friendly than a lot of other places, but that's a personal opinion. But don't overlook Target when buying furniture, especially the miscellaneous stuff like cheap side tables or lamps or shelving units or trash cans. I would advise making a Target run *before* heading to a place like Bed Bath and Beyond, for example. Target is also where I bought my portable GPS system, which is a virtual must for Atlanta. I have to say that the GPS system itself, a Magellan bottom-of-the-line that suctions to my windshield, has some real issues like the cord fraying and one of the screws falling off, but it gets the job done. Buying GPS in some form will save anybody a great deal of grief when new here, despite the additional typing required because all the streets in Atlanta are named the same thing, and I strongly suggest having it. But anytime you make a purchase of a single item over $200 at Target, they have to call your credit card company. It is not entirely clear to me whether this is solely in the electronics department, but it is definitely a pain in the butt. read more

This Target is the Wal-Mart of Targets, knowwhatimsayin?. It's just not as nice as some of the others out there and the customers at this location are probably at fault. I have just seen things at this Target that I wouldn't expect to see at a Target. This Target still gets the job done and it is still MY Target but anytime I venture to another location I see what I have been missing. This location is definitely more picked over than some of others, and the clothing section is not very well organized. This location became a Super Target fairly recently so they now sell groceries. That is definitely a plus if you need bleach wipes and salsa and only want to go to one place. Three stars for convenience! read more

Target is great. This one, however... is not so good. The staff is rude. They lack knowledge of their products and product location. Often, they will ignore you when you are clearly looking for help (probably because they know they will not be able to answer your question). The parking lot is congested, but that is likely because of it's convenient location. The produce is not priced very well and so so quality- I would probably to to Kroger over Target for these items. Of note, there is lots of parking on the lower level with an elevator and store to access the store- great for the summer in ATL. read more

However, once you've raised the white flag and paid fealty to the chain store gods, you can wallow with heedless glee along Target's glimmering shelves of generica. And now that the battle for authentic culture has been decisively lost, what harm can it do to begin accumulating possessions at a mind-boggling pace? And Target has hit upon the perfect strategy to sell these possessions to a population of roughly 300 million graphic designers. Market products with just enough design appeal to persuade them that they are buying modernity itself and not just another toilet plunger. I freely admit I am foremost among those who purchase useless commodities simply as a concession to that small but persistent voice within that reminds me just how lousy I'll feel without another needless acquisition. Such as? How about a darling plastic lamp to illuminate your bedside copy of The Audacity of Hope? Or perhaps a forty dollar scale that calculates your cholesterol, body mass index, and weight? (How embarrassing if a guest encountered one of those hideous sundial scales in your water closet!) Or possibly another set of fluffed bath and hand towels to fortify that fantasy island of luxury you've erected in your drywall-and-carpet one-bedroom? Still, I could live with my consumer obsessions were it not for the humiliating process I must endure at the hands on my doe-eyed cashier. In this general order, he/she a) refuses to establish eye contact and makes no effort to thank me for selflessly keeping the economy afloat; b) rudely handles my articles of clothing, making a mockery of proper folding technique before shoveling them like dirt into my bag, and c) wrestles their cheap plastic hangers away from me. Before I know what has happened I'm standing dazed on the blazing tarmac of Edgewood Retail District, several bags of haphazard paraphernalia in my hands, and a thorough sense of injustice at having been fleeced and dismissed so perfunctorily by a 16-year old illiterate. Serves me right. Anyone that walks into a store called 'Target' with a bullseye for a logo can't pretend they weren't warned. Caveat Emptor. read more

Their sales are pretty lackluster at this location, and I can generally score better deals on their clothes online and return what I don't like in stores. While objectively I'd like to support small local businesses, let's face it, I'm poor. Target helps me make my poor person money last a little bit longer, and with a bit better quality than you might find at Wal-Mart. I have bought shirts, jeans, and shoes at Target, and probably will do so again. I will barely buy socks and underwear at Wal-Mart (especially after that one pair gave me a giant allergic rash across my can). Target sells those awesome 40 pound buckets of cat litter (when your cats have pooped through it, you can use the bucket to store stuff in). I've never really had a problem with the service here. In fact, I've had one or two really great experiences with employees actively fetching stuff out of the back for me (I love the little push-button machine that tells you if stuff is in stock - then it's just a matter of wrangling up someone). It may have something to do with when other Yelpers shop there, relative to me - I go by during the week, in the middle of the day or early afternoon, which means I get the career-track employees instead of the high school kids? I don't know. I do kind of wish this Target had more groceries, but if I'm really jonesing for something, there's a giant Kroger across the parking lot. Closest Target to my home. Located in Edgewood Shopping District. Parking is always crazy! Even when I go during the work day. My go-to for purchasing paper goods- toilet paper and paper towels. I wait for when they are on sale and they offering a $5 gift card. I usually get sucked in my the women's clothing department (especially, clearance) even though I don't need any clothes! I typically buy things on sale here, not much regular price. I appreciate that they carry the blueberry Mini Wheats. I can't get them at Kroger. I find that Target tends to carry more variety of certain items compared to Kroger. If I can't find something at Kroger, I head to Target. Some issues I've had. Went to purchase wedding registry items and the registry info wouldn't come up. Apparently, Target was having an issue with their system. When I went back to purchase, multiple items were not at the location shown on the registry. So I had to wander around. Now on to a recent experience. I went to the store to pickup an item I purchased online. Took forever. I think it ended up being over 20 minutes before I got my item. There was someone ahead of me (just one) and the lady had to go to the back to get their item. Then went back again to get my item. I don't understand why she wouldn't have just checked on us both so she wouldn't have to make multiple trips to the back. And she was the only customer service person dealing with store pickup items. Meanwhile, the other person working had to deal with the customer from hell. She wasn't mean or anything, but she was doing this major exchange. She had a cart full of items from multiple receipts, had coupons, etc. Honestly, looked like some kind of scam, but none of my business. The customer service line was getting longer and longer and folks were grumbling. When I told them of my wait, they were even more exasperated. Upon hearing my complaint, the customer service person gave me a coupon for $3 off. My second store pickup wasn't as painful. aaah TARGE'! I'm definitely here more than I should be. You go in for two things, and two hundred dollars later. The Target is huge with great selection. The management totally sucks so I decided that I just won't deal with them. But here's the kicker: the whole staff is aware that management sucks. So, I often will say to them: look you don't want to deal with your boss and I don't want to deal with your boss... SO.... it always gets a chuckle, head shake and complete cooperation. :-) read more

As a person who has had to deal with the management of this store, I cannot give it a three or higher. They were relatively rude and unresponsive to any questions. They took way too long to take care of anything that was needed. Don't rely on them if you have any questions. This store is just a few sections short of being a SuperTarget. It had a minor grocery section and a decent sized electronics section. They have everything a typical Target has plus some. I do agree that the parking is terrible here, too. It isn't easy to see when you get to the area, also. Not my favorite Target that I've been to. I'd try to avoid it if you could. read more

This Target has the basics you need. Good prices on groceries and some cheap home stuff. The employees are okay, but management sucks. Last night I really wanted a cheese danish because in Boston our Starbucks bakery turned into La Boulange, which have small danishes that aren't nearly as good. The Starbucks woman said her register was down and she couldn't sell anything. I asked if I could purchase it from any other register, even Pizza Hut Cafe and she refused. I've had a long history with this Target and it definitely deserves 1 star, if that. read more

Their bathroom here is so disgusting. It always smells so bad. Locks are flimsy on the stalls. They have the weakest Xlerator hand dryer I've ever come across. I've been coming here for four years now since it's the closest location to me, and it hasn't changed. They have a Starbucks inside, which is a nice and convenient. You smell the coffee brewing as soon as you walk in. They also have a mini fast food area. I got a panini once that was really good. Don't let the price fool you though. It's puny. read more

Tar-shay. Ah so NOT Walmart, so the place I like to get a cheap lunch if I am shopping. Yeah, I said it out loud. I HAVE LUNCH AT TARGET! Usually it's two people, so order up the nachos (no drink) with extra jalapenos and the pepperoni pizza combo (drink and bread sticks). Now this is way more food than two people really need to eat, but boy it sure tastes good...oh and I did I mention just over $8 including tax!!! Downside? Well, none if you sit off to the left past the Starbucks as you can sit at the counter or a table an enjoy watching everyone from Grant Park to L5P to EAV to Virginia Highlands to....(you get the idea it's the only Target in this area) all showing up to shop... Do me a favor and wave next time you are sitting there eating as I know we are cheap lunch friends! I'll make sure to write another review about the store itself another day. read more

Target is getting better every day. Wish they have a cup holder with the trolley. I had to hold my Starbucks cup while pushing trolley.

This place is huge and surprisingly well laid out. I'm not in this part of town very often, but I might have to make a special trip every now and then just to enjoy my shopping experience. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this store, especially compared to that nasty Kroger next door. Well, it seems that my only experiences there are at night. It's possible I've just not been there to see the good side. At at any rate, this Target is very well maintained and I found it hard to leave without buying more than just the things I came to get. read more
